Sony Ericsson :: W890i Internet Settings Error

My son has messed around with my phone and i am now unable to connect to the internet. Every time i attempt a connection i am prompted to choose a data account to use to connect. Regardless of which data account i pick (T-Mobile Internet, Picture message or SEMC GPRS) I recieve the message - Data account doesn't exist. Check your settings.I have attempted to download the settings using the Setup wizard with no success - could not download settings. try again from the settings menu.Please advise how i can correct this as i mainly use my mobile for browsing.

I have a w890i "lmao" and its giving me the worst time om my life, it almost always has a "Emergincy Call's Onley" display or "No Networks" its driveing me crazy i have to pysicaly go search for a network for this phone to find one, Where other phones normaly would have signal, and it displays 4 bars of signal and isnt the phone sepose to pickup signal automaticaly. I tryd every thing phone update to reinstall phone software and then again phone update but it always say's your phone already have the latest software.

Sony Ericsson :: W890i Invalid Sim Message

I recently bought a w890i locked to the Three network, and unlocked/debranded it using Omnius. I've done this before lots of times, so I know I didn't make a mistake. I have all the right drivers installed and I followed the instructions to the letter.However, when I finished, I noticed that I was getting an "invalid Sim" message. I tried unlocking it again but it didn't help - it said it was already unlocked. I checked the lock status using left,left and sure enough, it is unlocked. So just to rule out a problem with the sim, I tried a few different sims that I had lying around. The Three sim that came with the phone didn't work, and neither did the O2 or Vodafone sims that I tried. but an old Virgin Mobile sim worked perfectly. So what's the problem and how do I fix it. It's possible the problem was already there before I unlocked/debranded the phone but I never checked since I'm not on the Three network.I thought it might be a problem with the CDFS. I backed-up the TA and CDFS from another w890i as a precaution (like I say, this isn't my first time) but I never backed this one up beforehand believing that I could just use the TA and CDFS extracted from the earlier phone. However, now I've read that the CDFS is unique to each phone, so I'm wondering what I should do. What will happen if I try to restore the TA/CDFS from another phone? To be honest, I don't really understand anything about them.I've tried re-flashing the firmware, too. It didn't help. And there's nothing wrong with the firmware - I've used it before. I know I could get the original firmware back by uploading the old CDA and connecting to the SEUS, but would that really help at all?I'm a bit of a novice, in way over my head here.

MY w890i camera stopped functioning normally in June. I didn't really need a camera so I just assumed I had goofed something up & didn't pay much attention to it. Now my real camera is in the repair shop & I set about figuring out what I goofed with my camera phone and can find nothing. I have it set to save to memory card. there's a 2GB card in there that has very little space used on it (less than 500mb) but when I open the camera function and take a picture it does one of two things: a) makes the shutter noise indicating a picture was taken, then the screen turns gray,the word "saving" appears in the middle and then the screen goes back to the ability to take a picture or b) i hear the shutter noise indicating a picture was taken & then the screen goes back to the menu. When the camera was working properly i would hear the shutter noise, get a gray screen with the word "saving" in the middle and then the picture would display on the screen until i pressed a button. Anyway, I hooked it up to the computer & it downloaded an upgrade, that didn't help, I re-set factory defaults, that didn't help, and finally I plugged the phone into the SE PC Suite & ran "phone repair" that too did not help. I haven't seen any similar complaints on any of the forums I've checked so I'd like to get some advice on what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
