Aug 20, 2010Requested internet settings from the Sony Ericsson support page as I have not been able to access the internet on my phone. I've been waiting 20mins and nothing has come through. Should I wait this long or should I request again?

Aug 12, 2010My son has messed around with my phone and i am now unable to connect to the internet. Every time i attempt a connection i am prompted to choose a data account to use to connect. Regardless of which data account i pick (T-Mobile Internet, Picture message or SEMC GPRS) I recieve the message - Data account doesn't exist. Check your settings.I have attempted to download the settings using the Setup wizard with no success - could not download settings. try again from the settings menu.Please advise how i can correct this as i mainly use my mobile for browsing.

Feb 18, 2010I had a quick question about the model of the c905. So I live in the US and I rarely leave the country. I know the main differences between the "a" and "i" are the bandwidth. So if the "a" is for America, does that mean that the "i" wont work in America since I have a 3G At&t SIM card? I read that somewhere and I wanted to clear it up. Also, I don't want to lose any functions like the C905 At&t offers. Thats crap! If I order a C905a will it arrive sporting all the junk At&t put on it? I find these two phones as the best options for me. I can understand that c901 would be better in this area because of being latest released camera phone by SE. C901 costs twice as much. Feb 16, 2010Having a problem with my Yari and selecting internet settings - the phone simply won't select any internet settings! Everytime a connection is made to the internet, the phone asks for me to choose what internet settings to install.I have sent the settings to the phone from both Sony Ericsson (SE) Website and Optus (operator in Australia). I receive these ok, but settings don't install. No issue with streaming settings.
The phone will not connect to the operator to download settings for MMS/WAP/Internet.
It is similar in nature to this older post:

Steps taken to attempt to resolve:
1. Manual internet settings
2. Operator provided internet settings
3. SE provided internet settings
4. Master reset
5. repeat steps 2 and 3 - same issue.
SE in Australia suggested Master Reset and then code update, which I will try tonight. Other than that, return to retailer.Any one have any suggestions? Hardware or software fault?

Feb 28, 2011I've followed the correct configuration settings for my mobile operator in the Philippines which is Globe Telecom. Still I can't connect. There is no signal indicator appearing on the upper part of the screen like 3G/HSDPA/EDGE/GPRS. Just plain signal bars. Is that ok? Is the signal means GSM only and no Data signal?
But when I tried to used other mobile operator like Smart Telecom, it perfectly worked.
