I have a new phone W890i and as its a UK Phone doesn't have Greek language option for text writing. My old phone was bought in Greece so obviously had it. Does anyone know how to get Greek text onto my phone via a download or something? I need it!
View 1 RepliesI have chosen English for the main language and Greek for typing language,but I cannot read sent or received SMS although they are sent and read properly by the recipients.When I turn typung language into English I can read the messages but still with problems...in that case I have to change language each time i m writing a message.That seems to be a problem.Does anybody knows anything about that?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a w890i "lmao" and its giving me the worst time om my life, it almost always has a "Emergincy Call's Onley" display or "No Networks" its driveing me crazy i have to pysicaly go search for a network for this phone to find one, Where other phones normaly would have signal, and it displays 4 bars of signal and isnt the phone sepose to pickup signal automaticaly. I tryd every thing phone update to reinstall phone software and then again phone update but it always say's your phone already have the latest software.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a w890i locked to the Three network, and unlocked/debranded it using Omnius. I've done this before lots of times, so I know I didn't make a mistake. I have all the right drivers installed and I followed the instructions to the letter.However, when I finished, I noticed that I was getting an "invalid Sim" message. I tried unlocking it again but it didn't help - it said it was already unlocked. I checked the lock status using left,left and sure enough, it is unlocked. So just to rule out a problem with the sim, I tried a few different sims that I had lying around. The Three sim that came with the phone didn't work, and neither did the O2 or Vodafone sims that I tried. but an old Virgin Mobile sim worked perfectly. So what's the problem and how do I fix it. It's possible the problem was already there before I unlocked/debranded the phone but I never checked since I'm not on the Three network.I thought it might be a problem with the CDFS. I backed-up the TA and CDFS from another w890i as a precaution (like I say, this isn't my first time) but I never backed this one up beforehand believing that I could just use the TA and CDFS extracted from the earlier phone. However, now I've read that the CDFS is unique to each phone, so I'm wondering what I should do. What will happen if I try to restore the TA/CDFS from another phone? To be honest, I don't really understand anything about them.I've tried re-flashing the firmware, too. It didn't help. And there's nothing wrong with the firmware - I've used it before. I know I could get the original firmware back by uploading the old CDA and connecting to the SEUS, but would that really help at all?I'm a bit of a novice, in way over my head here.

Every time i attempt a connection i am prompted to choose a data account to use to connect. Regardless of which data account i pick (T-Mobile Internet, Picture message or SEMC GPRS) I recieve the message - Data account doesn't exist. Check your settings.I have attempted to download the settings using the Setup wizard with no success - could not download settings. try again from the settings menu.Please advise how i can correct this as i mainly use my mobile for browsing.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMY w890i camera stopped functioning normally in June. I didn't really need a camera so I just assumed I had goofed something up & didn't pay much attention to it. Now my real camera is in the repair shop & I set about figuring out what I goofed with my camera phone and can find nothing. I have it set to save to memory card. there's a 2GB card in there that has very little space used on it (less than 500mb) but when I open the camera function and take a picture it does one of two things: a) makes the shutter noise indicating a picture was taken, then the screen turns gray,the word "saving" appears in the middle and then the screen goes back to the ability to take a picture or b) i hear the shutter noise indicating a picture was taken & then the screen goes back to the menu. When the camera was working properly i would hear the shutter noise, get a gray screen with the word "saving" in the middle and then the picture would display on the screen until i pressed a button. Anyway, I hooked it up to the computer & it downloaded an upgrade, that didn't help, I re-set factory defaults, that didn't help, and finally I plugged the phone into the SE PC Suite & ran "phone repair" that too did not help. I haven't seen any similar complaints on any of the forums I've checked so I'd like to get some advice on what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

When I press the first letter, it goes at 60 chars. While typing Greek Characters, it seems to use double characters. This happened when I installed v30.009 from Vi Suite.If I use English characters there's no problem, but I don't want to use "Greeklish" because I use T9 service.
