Aug 4, 2011After the 2.3.4 update, the calendar will show the incorrect organizer name for appointments that I have created. This only occurs when there is more than 1 Google account setup on the device.
example: The main account on my device is Joe@gmail.com, the secondary account is Bob@gmail.com. I create an appointment on the Joe@gmail.com calendar. On the Atrix Calendar it will show the appointment organizer as Bob@gmail.com.
If I click "show attendee details", the information is correct.
Motorola Defy :: Sd Card Shows Damaged?
Oct 2, 2011i did format my card 1-2 times...but after formate only 3-4 days it will fine but after that i m also faced same problem.. my camera click images not showing in gallery...even after some days when i was on my cell.. i got a msg in notifivation that ur sd card damaged u hve to formate...then i had go to my p.c nd connected my cell phone to p.c then i mount my sd card to my pc..nd go to that drive -> properties->tools->scan my sd card for error..my p.c search error nd make my card to use again....but after 2-3 days same problem was occur again..images gone , sd card damaged nd all....why this is happend.. i have 8gb sd card class 10 , transcend..

Jul 7, 2011I recently bought a 32 GB Sandisk micro SD card to replace the 8 GB one that came with my phone. I used my laptop to transfer all the info from the 8 GB card to the 32 GB card with no issues at all and then installed it in the phone. The phone recognized it and all seemed ok, until I tried to access the new SD card (opening an audio file, taking a new picture, etc). Every time I do that, I get a popup message saying that my SD card has just come unmounted and I need to remount it.
I play around with this for several hours, including reformatting the new card, etc, always getting the same results...even if I put the new card in the phone completely blank and try to take a pic, I get the same "unmounting" error. I've formatted both cards several times to start anew and the formatting is the same as the 8 GB card which works just fine.So, thinking I have a defective SD card, I return it and buy another brand new Sandisk SD card. Repeat all of the above procedures with the same result: "your SD card had unexpectedly come unmounted. Remount and try again".I know the 32 GB cards aren't bad...my laptop will read and write to them just fine.I called the tech support for my cell phone company, and they said that despite what's published (everywhere), my phone will only support a 16 GB SD card. On that note, EVERYTHING I've seen (including the literature with the phone and all the specs online say that it will support a 32 GB SD card.Software wise, I'm running 2.2, which is the most current software version that my carrier (Cellular South) has released.
BB Curve 8900 :: Media Card Error On Brand New
Feb 16, 2010My BB 8900 is just about a week old. I had transferred a couple of videos and a few pics from my laptop on to the blackberry - and everything seemed fine for about a week. I was able to access both the videos & the pictures.
Now, for some strange reason, I'm getting the following error for my media card (and this is every time I plug out my BB from the USB connection to the laptop).
Following is the error -->
" ..A media card has been inserted that contains errors. To correct the errors please use a disk erro checking utility on a computer .. "
Now I can't access the videos and the pics on my phone. They dont seem to exist. The folders are all empty. But strangely, when I hook up my phone via USB to my laptop, I can still see the video & pic files in the Blackberry folder.
Q1 - What seems to be the problem? Is my media card corrupted ? If so, is this possible? since my unit is only about a week old.
Q2 - What is the appropriate way to plug/ unplug the USB from the Blackberry? I usually just plug it out . has this caused any problems, by any chance ?
Motorola Atrix 4G :: Email App Only Shows Me "Set Up Existing Accounts"
Aug 17, 2011Brand new Atrix owner here, new to Android. Every time I try to open the default Email app (2nd from the left on the dock), I can only see the "Set up existing accounts" screen where I can add stuff like myspace and facebook accounts. I am linked to a gmail and twitter account, but I can't figure out how to get to my gmail from here. (I can get to it fine from the gmail app.)
Is something wrong, or is this just an accounts set up app and not an email app at all?

Jul 24, 2011Why is it that the SD card on my Atrix is often not seen, and is there anything that can be done about it? Here are some examples of things that have not seemed to work with and/or recognize my SD card:
1. When my phone is hooked up to my car stereo via USB, the stereo finds audio files on the phones internal storage only, not on the SD card.
2. I have the app "Widgetsoid" which has a toggle switch to mount/dismount the SD card. Instead the widget mounts/dismounts my phone's internal storage.
3. I was using DoubleTwist for a while, but it was hit or miss as far as it seeing my SD card. Sometimes it would find my internal memory, other times it would find my SD card.
4. I had a BT system installed in my car temporarily, and it could only find audio files on the internal storage, not on the SD card.
The SD card seems to function fine with respect to file management when using my laptop and USB or Wifi. The music I have on the SD card functions fine with the stock music player and with ProAmp.

Nov 15, 2011This has gone on far too long by half! Back when I had a Black Berry (ah, the days of effortless file transfer!) it was nothing for me to plug in USB and dump a ton of songs to my 9700. Now, enter Android....:-(
First with my Atrix, and now with my Atrix 2, I just can't seem to consistenly connect, via USB, from my device to my PC. I've tried:
1. Charge only
2. USB Mass storage
3. Windows Media Sync
4. Motorola Phone Portal.
When I try all of these and go to Windows Explorer, all I see is My Computer>Mobile Device...but nothing is there. As I "scroll" through the above choices, I get tons of "bum-beep...bee-bumps" from my PC indicating some sort of connection, but no connection come to fruition. I am running a 32GM Sandisk microSD, and it is formatted--nothing on it. No apps, nothing. Windows XP.
Somethins I get a "Found new hardware" message "MTP device" but it just hangs there.
As far as I know, I have all the proper drivers installed, as I recently tried the one-click root for this device, which didn't work either. I think I deleted the Motorola Media Link stuff. I can't even get the ZumoCast to work.

May 8, 2011I installed the CoPilot GPS App a couple of days ago - Maps are stored onboard.
I notice now that the map stored to my phones internal memory rather than to my SD card - I don't recall the app asking me where to store the map.
Must I change a phone setting to accomplish this going forward? I found this in settings under Windows Media Sync:
Settings / SD card and phonestorage / Storage location - then I am presented the opiton of choosing internal phone storage or SD card.
But I still wouldn't consider a GPS map to be "Windows Media" in need of a sync (?)

Nov 6, 2011I am getting a SIM card full notification just about daily. I have noticed no functionality failure. I have deleted all contacts from the SIM card. The phone at preset has exactly two SMS messges showing in handcent and is displaying about 15 emails in the gmail applet. I am sure I am missing something.
