There's gotta be a way to do this. A friend sent me a two page slideshow of jokes. When I open it, each page lasts for 2 seconds then moves to the next page. If I push the pause button, the screen goes black. It took me about 30 times reopening the text before I was able to read all the jokes.
I love my S6 but I have one problem. The audio randomly pauses or un-pauses. At first I thought this was a Blue Tooth problem but it happens with corded headphones too. I use BT in my car, with a Monster speaker and Arctic headphones. I'll be listing to the Audible App audio book, or Pandora or my own music through the native music app and the sound will just stop. I have to hit play to continue. It could be 2 minutes after I start the play or 45 minutes. It usually happens once or twice an hour. This can be really bad while listening to the good part of a book in heavy traffic and you have to look down to find the play button to start it again.
The audio will also just randomly start playing whatever the last audio app was that I used. My phone will be in my pocket or on a table, not being touched, and the audio will start. Again, with an audio book this is especially bad as I have seriously lost my place in a book when the audio started in a noisy location and I didn't notice until several chapters had gone by. It is also a problem at work when I'll walk out of the room and come back and my phone is blasting and my coworkers are standing around trying to make it stop. Un-pausing happens less frequently than the pausing does, but it happens at least once or twice a day.
When i look at a slideshow in the Gallery app, it zooms in on the photos before it transitions to the next. I realize they're just trying to be eye-catching, but I find it to be a distraction. i can't seem to find any slideshow settings for Gallery in the Xoom.
sometimes when i receive a MMS message, it comes in as a "slideshow" in which i need to hit "play" to watch it for a duration of 20 seconds and the picture is always in the middle around 10 seconds.
is this a setting that i need to disable?
the picture should just show up instead of me watching it on the "slideshow" which is just a waste of time.
When I load up a video on ZumoCast it will start playing and then randomly pause every 30sec to a min. This is not buffering since I can see the wheel turning when it is doing this, it is a straight up pause that i then have to hit play to resume the video. I have not tested this on wifi recently, I last used it on wifi a month ago with this pausing only happening 1-2 times in a 40 min video, but it is deff happening more frequently on both 3g and 4g and is very annoying. Is there a setting I have overlooked or is this a bug in the software
Just recently there have been many games on my Xoom that will continually pause or try to pause after a minute or so. I have seen a couple of other people on the net having this problem but not many so I know it is not widespread. It has made my Xoom almost unuseable for playing most games though.
My Xoom experienced two odd issues once the latest update was applied. Status shows Android version 3.2.1 and Kernel version 2.6.36.3-g111d827 andriod-build@apa28 #1, Build # HTK75D (sorry, that doesn't mean much to me...) This is a WiFi only model.
Issue #1: Whenever I playback a video, the video pauses every 55-60 seconds. Doesn't matter if I'm using a 3rd party player, Netflix, or the built-in Gallery player. Every time, any video. There are videos on the main memory, the SD card and even streming- all the same result. I have also noticed a number of games pause as well.
Issue #2: Opening links doesn't work. When I try to click on a link in Tweecaster Pro (for example) it would normally ask which browser I wanted to complete the action with. But now all I get is a pause and dimmed screen. Another touch of the sceen and I'm back to where I started. This happens with several different programs- not just browsers.
I understand ICS is coming, and have heard there is a 3.2.2 version available, but none show up when I check for updates.
It is ridiculous that if I pause my workout, I am "locked" on the pause screen and can't view any of the workout tabs or the map. So, I either have to try and view the map whilst I'm cycling - with traffic around, clicking around and trying to zoom in and out, which is pretty dangerous - or I have to pull in, and then keep moving at an incredibly slow pace so the workout doesn't auto-pause (and then basically just mess up my workout stats).
How did Motorola not think anyone would want the functionality to browse the route map whilst they're stationary? This seems a pretty basic concept - am I missing something, is there actually some way to do this? If not, can we address this in the next firmware update, there is no reason why the workout tab should be locked to the pause screen when you pause it.
On The Latest Firmware even though i have auto pause off, when i do a run even at a pace of 6.5MPH the motoactv auto pauses and never resumes every so often?
I have a pair of headphones that has an in-line button. The headphones were working for about 3 weeks with the motoactv, then one day the button stopped pausing and starting the audio for some reason. I tested the same headphones in my iphone, which worked as expected with no problems. I tested 2 other sets of headphones with the motoactv that have in-line buttons and they both work, but this paticular pair will not work with the in-line button. I have done a factory reset, but the results are the same. I have no idea what would cause this behavior.
id like to buy one of those over 3000mah batteries for my atrix 2 , but where i live i can only find this batteries for the atrix 4g and im not sure if it works on the atrix 2.
When I insert a photo into a text message my C1-01 automatically forces the image(s) to be displayed as a slideshow. Is there any way to prevent this?I've found the MMS settings which allow me to say how long each slide should display for, but I can't see an option to turn off the creation of slideshows in the first place. It's particularly annoying when I'm sending just one photo. I don't need it to be displayed on the screen for x seconds, then to disappear! This is mostly a problem when texting my mum (who has a HTC Wildfire) as she is a novice phone user and struggles when receiving slide shows.
how to view your Picasa web album as a slideshow? It comes up in edit mode showing the thumbnail photos but does not have the icon at the top to view as slideshow. Google help says to set your browser config to enable html tables and style sheets however those options aren't on the config page on my 9550.
I used to have an iphone and when I tapped on a picture in a text message thread, it would open that image as part of a slideshow of however many other pictures were on that thread. With my HTC one m8, when I tap on a picture in a thread, it opens that single image. Is there any way to easily access all pictures on a long messaging thread all at once?
Originally when viewing photos, a "play" icon didn't show up in between the bottom left extra tools logo and the bin.. However it's now suddenly shown up and I can't seem to get rid of it!
How to export Project (slide show) from IPhoto (Iphone) to other computer with windows? Is there a way to convert the slideshow file I have made on my iPhone to a video file? If so, how do I do this? Â
My Motorola Atrix or Computer has a Problem install the ADB Interface so there for my phone wont connect to my Computer.I have a windows 7 32-bit operating system.I have tried installing Drivers Manualy, tried using the PDAnet Solution, tried unistalling all USB Ports, tried applications to help.
Will the Lapdock (and other accessories for that matter) work for the new Atrix 2 coming? I've only used the Lapdock lightly and it will be a real shame if it and the other accessories I've purchased over the past year won't work with the 2nd gen Atrix.
I recently had to get a replacement Atrix through AT&T after my original one shattered. I had insurance and AT&T provided me a refurbished one through their insurance program. My question is, will I still be able to get all future updates on this phone or is there something I need to do?
I have the iPhone 4s, and it keeps pausing in the middle of songs, be it, ones I've purchased through iTunes or Downloads!! It is very annoying, as I am an exercise teacher, and need to use it when I'm teaching. I have tried everything to stop this, but to no avail. Yesterday, I used it in a Boombox, and it paused every 2/3 minutes!! Not Good.
My Galaxy S6 keeps randomly pausing music playback while I have it connected to the aux input in my car for no apparent reason. Phone is rooted on the stock AT&T Rom and has been restored via ODIN twice without any change. It did this before root as well without change. I have disabled nuplayer in the dev settings and tried resyncing my library multiple times thinking it was due to corrupted files. This clearly is a samsung issue and seems to be apparent with older generations of the Galaxy series as well. Having to keep fiddling with the damn phone while I'm driving to unpause the music, raise the volume past the warning, just to do it again a few minutes later. Tried the stock music app as well as doubletwist, no changes. Could this be caused by some motion sensing feature that needs to be disabled?
Ever since I installed .713 OS my storm 2 keeps locking up for ten or fifteen seconds at a time. The little clock is in the middle of the screen and spinning. This happens so much it is getting disgusting and annoying. Has anyone else ran into this and what did you do to fix? I did a search but found nothing on this.
I just switched over from a Samsung Note Edge to a Nexus 5, and have been super happy. However, there is one thing that I just noticed today that is weird. When I'm listening to music and someone calls me, the music keeps playing, and there is no ringtone. I have almost missed a couple of calls because of it. This is my configuration:
OG Nexus 5 on most recent update from Google Not rooted Completely stock Using Google Play Music Using headphones plugged into phone (not bluetooth headphones)
