IPhone :: 4S Pausing Music Every Now And Again Automatically
Mar 30, 2012
I have the iPhone 4s, and it keeps pausing in the middle of songs, be it, ones I've purchased through iTunes or Downloads!! It is very annoying, as I am an exercise teacher, and need to use it when I'm teaching. I have tried everything to stop this, but to no avail. Yesterday, I used it in a Boombox, and it paused every 2/3 minutes!! Not Good.
I love my S6 but I have one problem. The audio randomly pauses or un-pauses. At first I thought this was a Blue Tooth problem but it happens with corded headphones too. I use BT in my car, with a Monster speaker and Arctic headphones. I'll be listing to the Audible App audio book, or Pandora or my own music through the native music app and the sound will just stop. I have to hit play to continue. It could be 2 minutes after I start the play or 45 minutes. It usually happens once or twice an hour. This can be really bad while listening to the good part of a book in heavy traffic and you have to look down to find the play button to start it again.
The audio will also just randomly start playing whatever the last audio app was that I used. My phone will be in my pocket or on a table, not being touched, and the audio will start. Again, with an audio book this is especially bad as I have seriously lost my place in a book when the audio started in a noisy location and I didn't notice until several chapters had gone by. It is also a problem at work when I'll walk out of the room and come back and my phone is blasting and my coworkers are standing around trying to make it stop. Un-pausing happens less frequently than the pausing does, but it happens at least once or twice a day.
My Galaxy S6 keeps randomly pausing music playback while I have it connected to the aux input in my car for no apparent reason. Phone is rooted on the stock AT&T Rom and has been restored via ODIN twice without any change. It did this before root as well without change. I have disabled nuplayer in the dev settings and tried resyncing my library multiple times thinking it was due to corrupted files. This clearly is a samsung issue and seems to be apparent with older generations of the Galaxy series as well. Having to keep fiddling with the damn phone while I'm driving to unpause the music, raise the volume past the warning, just to do it again a few minutes later. Tried the stock music app as well as doubletwist, no changes. Could this be caused by some motion sensing feature that needs to be disabled?
I just switched over from a Samsung Note Edge to a Nexus 5, and have been super happy. However, there is one thing that I just noticed today that is weird. When I'm listening to music and someone calls me, the music keeps playing, and there is no ringtone. I have almost missed a couple of calls because of it. This is my configuration:
OG Nexus 5 on most recent update from Google Not rooted Completely stock Using Google Play Music Using headphones plugged into phone (not bluetooth headphones)
Since the 5.0 update, everything has been awesome. Only issue I have run into, is that sometimes out of no where my phone will pause Play Music with out me touching my phone. For example, I listen to Play Music at night and its setup on either a loop or just one of the sleep radio stations. But after one or two songs or even twice in one song, it will pause.
After the denim update on my 1520 for att, the phone has started acting weird. It unlocks itself and goes into messaging by own. Sometimes its funny as to you click the unlock button and things seem to happen by own.
Other issue that i am facing is the music pause. Play music, lock the phone, keep it in the pocket n boom... it pauses... every time.
I have a 2016 tacoma and a s6 edge. When I stream my Bluetooth music it's good. But when I go to am or fm and come back to Bluetooth, it starts the song at the beginning again. Doesn't auto pause like it always has. In my old truck it worked fine. This is a new truck. I tried an old iPhone and it worked fine. I tried the Google play music app and it worked for a bit and it stopped with that too. Not sure if it's my truck or my phone.
When I turn my phone off it starts to play whatever song it feels like that I have installed. Like right when I turn my phone off it'll start to play. I have to have the volume all the way down so it doesnt start to play music anymore. If I pause it from the lockscreen it won't start back up which is good. its done this before and stopped but now it's gone on for a week or 2 and it's just really annoying.
For a couple of weeks, my videos have not been playing properly. The videos I have recorded on my iPhone and snapchat videos are sort of pausing and not playing smoothly. The sound for the videos isn't paused at all just the actual video. My youtube videos play perfect without any interruptions. I tried researching what the problem¬ could be to make the videos in my album do this but haven't had any luck. I have tried restarting my phone, closing all background apps, and still not sure what to try.¬
I have an 16GB iPhone 4s running IOS 7.1.2. There is about 1Gb of space free on it
I accidentally synced my iphone 4s to my sisters computer and now my computer won't recognize it and allow me to download music and photos etc. Is there some simple setting In need to do to allow my computer to recognize my iphone again?
I know that mail alerts can be manually turned off in the notification center, but I don't want to have to manually do this everytime I play music. If I have emails come in while the music is playing, it lowers the sound of hte music and plays the alert notice. I would like this alert to be automatically disabled while playing music.
Usually when plugged in via USB, but also sometimes via bluetooth. How to prevent this? It's usually annoying while I'm on the phone and the music is playing in the background (only for my side of the conversation).
I recently plugged my LG G3 to my car's USB port and music started playing from my library i guess. I couldn't stop the music in order to listen to something else I wanted to listen to. How do I stop my phone from automatically playing music from my library when I plug it in to the USB port?
When I have my phone plugged in to the AUX IN port in my car, the music application starts automatically. If I was fast enough to start a call, it will hang up on the call and the music will start. I have always used the car stereo AUX IN feature to take/make calls. I This problem started a few weeks ago and it is driving me crazy. I stop the music application and as soon as I place another call, the music will start again
There's gotta be a way to do this. A friend sent me a two page slideshow of jokes. When I open it, each page lasts for 2 seconds then moves to the next page. If I push the pause button, the screen goes black. It took me about 30 times reopening the text before I was able to read all the jokes.
When I load up a video on ZumoCast it will start playing and then randomly pause every 30sec to a min. This is not buffering since I can see the wheel turning when it is doing this, it is a straight up pause that i then have to hit play to resume the video. I have not tested this on wifi recently, I last used it on wifi a month ago with this pausing only happening 1-2 times in a 40 min video, but it is deff happening more frequently on both 3g and 4g and is very annoying. Is there a setting I have overlooked or is this a bug in the software
Just recently there have been many games on my Xoom that will continually pause or try to pause after a minute or so. I have seen a couple of other people on the net having this problem but not many so I know it is not widespread. It has made my Xoom almost unuseable for playing most games though.
My Xoom experienced two odd issues once the latest update was applied. Status shows Android version 3.2.1 and Kernel version 184.108.40.206-g111d827 andriod-build@apa28 #1, Build # HTK75D (sorry, that doesn't mean much to me...) This is a WiFi only model.
Issue #1: Whenever I playback a video, the video pauses every 55-60 seconds. Doesn't matter if I'm using a 3rd party player, Netflix, or the built-in Gallery player. Every time, any video. There are videos on the main memory, the SD card and even streming- all the same result. I have also noticed a number of games pause as well.
Issue #2: Opening links doesn't work. When I try to click on a link in Tweecaster Pro (for example) it would normally ask which browser I wanted to complete the action with. But now all I get is a pause and dimmed screen. Another touch of the sceen and I'm back to where I started. This happens with several different programs- not just browsers.
I understand ICS is coming, and have heard there is a 3.2.2 version available, but none show up when I check for updates.
My 2014 Honda CRV EX automatically starts the music app on my Samsung Galaxy s5 (Music Player) every time I start the car and every time I make or receive a phone call. Is there a way to disable this function but still have a Bluetooth connection for phone calls?
I have an E5. Earlier when I downloaded new songs on my phone and opened the music player, it automatically searched for new tracks and updated itself. Now I dont know what has happened it doesnt get updated automatically and I have to update it manually.
Ever since I installed .713 OS my storm 2 keeps locking up for ten or fifteen seconds at a time. The little clock is in the middle of the screen and spinning. This happens so much it is getting disgusting and annoying. Has anyone else ran into this and what did you do to fix? I did a search but found nothing on this.
My Nokia 5230 is turning into black/white screen & restarts automatically while trying to do tasks like msg, playing music. Done software reset..But still facing the same issue, done servicing, no of times but no use..
I've been trying to use my BB as music player when on the bike.At the same time, I'm running my GPS and utilize the phone function for incoming calls.Music starts up fine, however, as soon as the playback gets interrupted by any kind of command - GPS turn instructions or incoming phone calls, the playback won't automatically resume. Is there any work around for this?
