My Galaxy S6 keeps randomly pausing music playback while I have it connected to the aux input in my car for no apparent reason. Phone is rooted on the stock AT&T Rom and has been restored via ODIN twice without any change. It did this before root as well without change. I have disabled nuplayer in the dev settings and tried resyncing my library multiple times thinking it was due to corrupted files. This clearly is a samsung issue and seems to be apparent with older generations of the Galaxy series as well. Having to keep fiddling with the damn phone while I'm driving to unpause the music, raise the volume past the warning, just to do it again a few minutes later. Tried the stock music app as well as doubletwist, no changes. Could this be caused by some motion sensing feature that needs to be disabled?
I have a 2016 tacoma and a s6 edge. When I stream my Bluetooth music it's good. But when I go to am or fm and come back to Bluetooth, it starts the song at the beginning again. Doesn't auto pause like it always has. In my old truck it worked fine. This is a new truck. I tried an old iPhone and it worked fine. I tried the Google play music app and it worked for a bit and it stopped with that too. Not sure if it's my truck or my phone.
I love my S6 but I have one problem. The audio randomly pauses or un-pauses. At first I thought this was a Blue Tooth problem but it happens with corded headphones too. I use BT in my car, with a Monster speaker and Arctic headphones. I'll be listing to the Audible App audio book, or Pandora or my own music through the native music app and the sound will just stop. I have to hit play to continue. It could be 2 minutes after I start the play or 45 minutes. It usually happens once or twice an hour. This can be really bad while listening to the good part of a book in heavy traffic and you have to look down to find the play button to start it again.
The audio will also just randomly start playing whatever the last audio app was that I used. My phone will be in my pocket or on a table, not being touched, and the audio will start. Again, with an audio book this is especially bad as I have seriously lost my place in a book when the audio started in a noisy location and I didn't notice until several chapters had gone by. It is also a problem at work when I'll walk out of the room and come back and my phone is blasting and my coworkers are standing around trying to make it stop. Un-pausing happens less frequently than the pausing does, but it happens at least once or twice a day.
For a couple of weeks, my videos have not been playing properly. The videos I have recorded on my iPhone and snapchat videos are sort of pausing and not playing smoothly. The sound for the videos isn't paused at all just the actual video. My youtube videos play perfect without any interruptions. I tried researching what the problem¬ could be to make the videos in my album do this but haven't had any luck. I have tried restarting my phone, closing all background apps, and still not sure what to try.¬
I have an 16GB iPhone 4s running IOS 7.1.2. There is about 1Gb of space free on it
I have the iPhone 4s, and it keeps pausing in the middle of songs, be it, ones I've purchased through iTunes or Downloads!! It is very annoying, as I am an exercise teacher, and need to use it when I'm teaching. I have tried everything to stop this, but to no avail. Yesterday, I used it in a Boombox, and it paused every 2/3 minutes!! Not Good.
I just switched over from a Samsung Note Edge to a Nexus 5, and have been super happy. However, there is one thing that I just noticed today that is weird. When I'm listening to music and someone calls me, the music keeps playing, and there is no ringtone. I have almost missed a couple of calls because of it. This is my configuration:
OG Nexus 5 on most recent update from Google Not rooted Completely stock Using Google Play Music Using headphones plugged into phone (not bluetooth headphones)
Since the 5.0 update, everything has been awesome. Only issue I have run into, is that sometimes out of no where my phone will pause Play Music with out me touching my phone. For example, I listen to Play Music at night and its setup on either a loop or just one of the sleep radio stations. But after one or two songs or even twice in one song, it will pause.
After the denim update on my 1520 for att, the phone has started acting weird. It unlocks itself and goes into messaging by own. Sometimes its funny as to you click the unlock button and things seem to happen by own.
Other issue that i am facing is the music pause. Play music, lock the phone, keep it in the pocket n boom... it pauses... every time.
Listening to iHeart radio/podcasts has become very frustrating ever since lollipop upgrade because it is frequently pausing play on it's own. It happens to me both on cellular and strong Wi-Fi connections. When it happens, I can simply hit play button again to restart playing but it's getting real old real fast having the constant interruptions. I also opened a problem case with iHeart directly.
I picked up my new S6 from the Sprint store yesterday. I almost have all of my parameters set, outside of my pics & music from my S4 Mini . The guy at the Sprint store supported me with the contacts, and also put all of my music/video/pics onto the 32G Micro SD that I installed in the phone about 18 months ago.
I have the Micro Card, the Micro SD adapter to regular USB for my PC. I've made separate folders on my PC from the card---Video-Music-Pics, but there's some stuff I'm not familiar with that shows up as well.
My question is, what mode does my new S6 need to be in when I transfer this stuff to the phone?
I will say that some of the music (I have a LOT) wasn't set up very well in my S4 Mini and thats my fault for being in a hurry, but it did what I wanted it to do. I have the S6 plugged into my PC via charging cord/USB, and the Micro SD is in another USB port on the PC---
I'm unable to access my videos or music as a message is displayed saying 'not enough memory'. My internal storage says I have used 739MB and have 1.2GB free. My external 8GB micro sd card shows I have 5.6GB available. However, my usb storage says I've used 12GB and have no free space. I guess the usb storage is the problem (unless there is something else) and I would like to know how I came to fill up the usb storage when I thought I was saving things to my external 8GB sd card.how to rectify the problem and also how to manage it in the future?
Lately each time I drag and drop music or videos to my phone using mass storage, my music player won't show it. There's nothing in recently added and I tried refreshing it, but it showed me 'General:System Error' and stopped refreshing. I checked in my file manager and the songs are still there.
I have installed Zune on my pc but when I connect my phone there it just says Connection failed. Please restart and try again or something like that. I have reinstalled it,tried everything in forums like reseting the phone, deleting some stuff from Zune folder and auto-fixing it but nothing helped, what can I do in order to get some videos and music to my lumia?
Whenever I try downloading music or videos it would begin the downloading then in the process it just stops and says "download failed" just wondering what I could do because it always happens even if its on 3G. I'm currently using a Torch.
I'm using 9300. I use download music easy and quickly. But lately I can't do that anymore. When I download my fone become very slow, it doesn't even reach 100% even if it's on 3G network mode. Sometimes it stops on 10%. Then says: failed.
I'm currently having a problem with my g3 which is running on lollipop. The problem is as stated above, that it can't seem to play any music or video. It will work for a while after I reboot my phone, but after like an hour or two it will go back to its problem saying that it can't play music or video.
I have several music videos on my phone, before i got the update these videos worked properly. As soon as the update came into play the music vids became locked. How if there is any possible way can i unlock the videos as i have about $50.00 in these videos.
My Blackberry 8900 curve cannot play videos or music, when I try to play the videos and music it says "unable to play content"; I've tried re booting my phone and formatting my memory card but nothing works, I've also put a new memory card in the phone but it still won't work.
There's gotta be a way to do this. A friend sent me a two page slideshow of jokes. When I open it, each page lasts for 2 seconds then moves to the next page. If I push the pause button, the screen goes black. It took me about 30 times reopening the text before I was able to read all the jokes.
When I load up a video on ZumoCast it will start playing and then randomly pause every 30sec to a min. This is not buffering since I can see the wheel turning when it is doing this, it is a straight up pause that i then have to hit play to resume the video. I have not tested this on wifi recently, I last used it on wifi a month ago with this pausing only happening 1-2 times in a 40 min video, but it is deff happening more frequently on both 3g and 4g and is very annoying. Is there a setting I have overlooked or is this a bug in the software
Just recently there have been many games on my Xoom that will continually pause or try to pause after a minute or so. I have seen a couple of other people on the net having this problem but not many so I know it is not widespread. It has made my Xoom almost unuseable for playing most games though.
