I, Diviance, wish to request the release of the source code for the following software:The 4.5.91 firmware update for the Motorola Atrix 4g, the webtop software included in the update and any particular software included in this update that follows GPL licensing.
I keep getting messages from an unknown source, I only see a green star appear where the AT&T is on the upper left corner of the screen on my Motorola Atrix.
how to change app setting or something to be able to download app from unknown source? When I downloaded this app, it went to files, phone storage and messages.
Try to dowload and Security Warning Pops up, app comes from unknown source, for your security app from trusted sources can be installed.
I went to app settings and there is not choice to change.
I bought a locked Atrix by amazon market place end after I bought the unlock code. When I try to unlock is displayed the message "network unlock request unsuccessfull". i'm informin a 8 digits code.
Since upgrading to Gingerbread (2.3.4) on the Motorola Atrix I have not been able to accept/decline/tentative meeting invitations from my phone. Is anyone else having this problem? I do have 2 (multiple) Coporate Sync accounts setup where I am syncing calendar and email etc. I have not attempted to see if having one would make it possible. I can't accept the invite from the calendar nor from the email.
New problem generate in my Blackberry curve 9220 (OS 7.1) in Blackberry Messenger. When i sent request to my firends its show request is pending but he/she is already accept me. And he/she send request to me at that time i accept and he/she is in add my contact list.
Are there any plans to make the MotoActv code open source or expose any means by which non-moto people could attempt to add functionality to the device? I'm sure I'm not the only giant nerd who is also an athelete using a MotoActv. If it were possible, I'd love to play around with the device and see if there were places that I could improve efficiency, add functionality, etc.
I have Facebook set as my picture source....but none of the pictures are coming through on my contact page or the happenings widget.I have deleted my account and re-added twice....turned off my phone and removed the battery, nothing.
Suddenly I can't install apps not from Google Play. I have the setting checked to allow but when the app install window pops up the option to install does not do anything. I can look at all permissions and cancel but not install. I have tried several apps and all have the same result. I have tried from a download and from my app monster backup.
How do you change the primary source for contact photos? (i.e. Twitter, facebook, google) Mine is currently set to twitter I would like it to be set to facebook. when I click options in the account settings the only option is add account.
Has there been any OTA updates since release?I bought mine the day of release from Costco and it is system version 5.5.886.XT875.Verizon.en.US.When ever I click on "System Updates", it brings up a dialog that says "Check for update is not available at this time.Try again later."Does this mean that there have been no updates, or that my updates are broken?
picture source not updating in their address book/contact list?
On the Cliq I never had this problem. On the Cliq2 when people update their FB default pictures, it doesn't sync and update them in my address book anymore. Motorola said it should but it doesn't. They offered me a new phone but hello this is my second Cliq2 that it hasn't worked on. Apparently it's not the phone. It's motoblur!
Ive tried a dozen times to submit a repair request and each time the operation stops after I select my device and your page stays blank. I submit my serial number and it looks up the device, finds it and I continue. Then I add my narrative and it asks me to pick my device. I select motoactv and at bottom of screen it has the little continue button. I press that and the screen stays white and wont let me continue the process. This is getting VERY ANNOYING and FRUSTRATING. Ive tried on 3 different computers on 3 different networks on 2 different browsers over a dozen times and I CANNOT submit my device for repair.
I'm getting this on the website "Unable to process the request", on about 80% of my workouts I cannot see details! also on the few ones that load I cannot see the route, this only happens from my PC and any other PC i have tried and with any browser IE, Firefox, Chrome,.... BTW it all works fine from my Droid Razr phone
I have two Droid Pros. Overall I'm relatively happy with the phone minus a couple nagging problems. I have noticed some of them being fixed with the two updates I've experienced. The single most annoything aspect of this phone, however, seems to have gone uncorrected, yet it's a simple fix. The fact that the keyboard is too close to the soft keys. When typing an email or text, it's not uncommon for my thumb or finger to accidentally it one of the soft keys (such as the home key). Obviously, at that point it immediately jumps to the home screen. Thankfully my message isn't lost. However, why not merely add a verifcation dialog if any of those keys are hit during a keyboard input operation? This seems like a very obvious and simple fix...and I know there are lots of compaints about this keyboard on Android forums, etc.
I realize this topic is being discussed elsewhere on this forum, but that thread is now several pages long. Any chance the moderators here can set up a sticky on the forum with an official FAQ on the problem, possible fixes (tried, proven or otherwise) and, most importantly, any feedback on when Motorola and its new Google masters will, as some say, send out a software fix OTA?
Would also love to see any official Motorola or Sprint comments on this issue posted on the sticky as well, so we can separate the official company line from rumor.
I really like this phone, but this calling audio bug is unacceptable and I will return it and spurn any Motorola devices from here out unless the companies provide some concrete feedback on what they're doing to correct this issue and a timetable for when they will take action to do so.
I understand that your hands are loosely tied as Honeycomb is a Google OS and as such updates need to come from them. However, your competitors appear to have been able to launch with things like SD card suppor and there is still no communication about when this will occur.I am not demmanding an update NOW! Just some level of communication on the progress/eta/time-line on when there will be an update to enable all the hardware to function.I also have a number of things I would like to discuss regarding the OS itself but lets first of all see if you can at least communicate with us on the most basic level?
There is a typo on the Weight Loss Goals page.It reads: "I have completed 44% of YOUR weght loss goal..." Please change to either: I have completed ___% of MY weight loss goal..." OR You have completed ___% of YOUR weight loss goal..."
request: Allow Home Screen Position to be changed from the farthest left position. I like my home screen in the middle, it allows me to put work to one side and personal to the other.
id like to buy one of those over 3000mah batteries for my atrix 2 , but where i live i can only find this batteries for the atrix 4g and im not sure if it works on the atrix 2.
I miss the ability to push the top wake button and be able to slide slider over to move from Vibrate to Ring like I used to be able to with my Droid X and Droid D1. You can only switch from Ring to Vibrate that way now.
My Motorola Atrix or Computer has a Problem install the ADB Interface so there for my phone wont connect to my Computer.I have a windows 7 32-bit operating system.I have tried installing Drivers Manualy, tried using the PDAnet Solution, tried unistalling all USB Ports, tried applications to help.
Will the Lapdock (and other accessories for that matter) work for the new Atrix 2 coming? I've only used the Lapdock lightly and it will be a real shame if it and the other accessories I've purchased over the past year won't work with the 2nd gen Atrix.
I recently had to get a replacement Atrix through AT&T after my original one shattered. I had insurance and AT&T provided me a refurbished one through their insurance program. My question is, will I still be able to get all future updates on this phone or is there something I need to do?
I did the Jelly Bean update on my two month old Atrix HD yesterday. Then my apps started closing on their own and then the homescreen started doing the same thing. Tried to do a FDR and I have the little android guy on my screen now with what looks like a rotating atom in his belly and a blue progress bar below him. Been like this for several hours now and I even tried calling the Motorola people and I'm still where I was. Can anyone offer a solution before I take it back to where I bought it from to see if they will even replace it? I did the holding down the volume buttons simultaneously and then the power button, got the motorola logo and then goes right back to this annoying little android guy with the rotating atom in his belly.
