I just got my 950 and tried to install tunein radio - store informs me that the app is not compatible with my device. It seems that the articles I have read and even the tunein website says that it should be available... is there a reason why certain W10 phones are incompatible with some apps? really going to miss tunein radio. Are there any other major apps that will be lost with W10?
View 2 RepliesRecently, I have tried to install newly updated/created apps on my ICS XOOM WiFi from Tivo and from AMC Theaters. Both apps tell me the same thing when I go into google play, and also when I use a direct download QR Barcode. I get a message saying that my device isn't compatible with this version of the software. Could this possibly be becuase the apps are not tolerant of ICS yet? I figured that since the apps were newly released/updated, that they would be compatible with the latest.

Also, when I plug in to my USB port, it only comes up with Picture/Video multimedia. No music. Which is slightly frustrating as Bluetooth streaming obviously takes battery life away...

Just got my 5800 XpressMusic chrome on T mobile uk it come with "comes with music" packaging and manuel with activation pin so i assume my device is compatible with Nokia music store however when i go to register using my device i put in the pin my own details and accept all etc. i get a message saying that my device is not supported and would i like to see compatible devices or better still go to car phone warehouse and get one there?

I recently J/B my 3G after upgrading to IOS4. Now it seems its a 50/ 50 chance that apps I used before are compatible? One in particular(Infinidock/ $.99/Cydia) I purchased(no trial available). After loging in and being redirected to pay for the app, I get back to the "install" page and get an error message stating to the effect this apps only works with ">4.0" Though it was only $.99 I think this should have been caught before I paid for the app... And of course I've never seen/ heard of getting a "refund" from Cydia?

1. Mic does not work. 920 does not recognise voice commands when earpod is plugged in
2. When I try to call anybody while earpod is plugged inm, i hear high pitched noise in the headset. I dont hear that noise when i play music, though.

I'm running Cataclysm ROM (the Sept. 10 beta), Franco kernel, and I'm rooted and use Xposed. I receive this error when I try to add a card in Android Pay: "Android Pay cannot be used: Google is unable to verify that your device of the software running on it is Android compatible". I tried disabling root entirely and using RootCloak (Xposed) to hide root from Android Pay and Google Wallet, but I still can't use Pay. Wallet still works as it always has.

How low have some of you gotten before you notice any kind of problems? I have an 8GB SD card for pics, music, etc., so plenty of room there.
I'm a little surprised for as advanced as this device is that you only get 256MB of space (much less than that, really) for applications. Kinda reminds me of the problem the Nintendo Wii had, where they had an SD card slot, but you couldn't save and programs on it until they did a firmware update later on.
I don't have a mail account associated to my Blackberry, so, I can't download the apps directly into it, How can I download an app to my computer so that I could then charge it to my device?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am a BBerry newbie and I generally like the phone but am finding that upgrades are a huge bother. Every time I upgrade the software all my apps become disabled. I have to re-agree to the terms and conditions, re-enter the registration number (of course this means also looking it up), re-establish all my specialized setting, options, alarms, etc. This is a serius nuisance and makes the Bberry almost disfunctional for several days. I am in the middle of a call and need to check a setting and discover that I can't because I haven't re-set-up the app I need. Eg can't check a pdf because I haven't re-entered my registration for docs to go, haven't agreed to the terms, and haven't re-established its link to the desktop.
Isn't there a way to upgrade the OS without losing everything else in the process?
It seems like to load any app into my BB storm 2 device you need an active internet connection in your device. I don't have internet surfing facility in my mobile. The plan I am in with my carrier allows unlimited mails and chat. Is there any way I could load apps through my PC into my device. Most apps that I tried won't allow this, they need the app link to be clicked from the device rather than from a PC?

As soon as I got home, I did the device switch operation with my BB desktop software without any problems too, but today I noticed something was diferent, I don't have or find anywhere in my phone the OS 7 digital compass. I know it's no big deal, but it was a nice app and would really like to install it on my new BB. I have surfed among the web and apps world and all I find are compasses for purchase, and it came free in this BB device.

I think BlackBerries are superb but . there are quite a few basic apps I had on my Bold, which show as 'unavailable for this device' in App World when I try and get them for my Torch 9810. A good example is the MobileMoney mobile banking app, and also the NatWest mobile banking app. When I tried to get the BB Feedback App, so I could request BB do something about it, the Feedback App itself was 'unavailable for this device' Is it just because the 9810 is such a new device and BB are working hard to get all the Apps available - or do they just not really care about Apps availability at all ?
