I just got a N1520 last week, but it will not load up desktop version on IE on many sites even thought I have it set in the settings to do so.
What I do not understand is my N920 with a smaller display, and not really the hardware or storage of the N1520 always loads the desktop version every time.
How can I stop the Safari browser from loading the mobile version of certain sites?

I have a screenshot to show what I mean however the WPC app do not have the options to attache images neither the mobile site of it. Frustrated that other platforms can format website correctly but not on WP platform. Anyway to ensure website load correctly?

Still running WP8. Camera won't start up, display is black after "Loading..." But my first problem is the display, "Graphics Processor?" Is starting to fail? it started with my game freezing in progress, then turned into the display turning black for a few seconds, and has now turned into a scrambled display...

Since an update i now have the lumia camera and if i load a photo from the gallery into a tweet it loads as landscape and i cant rotate it. If i take a photo direct from the twitter app it loads fine.
Ive also noticed when I connect to a computer the photo seems to be saved in landscape, but this is not such a big issue as i can rotate it.
I installed the NokiaPC Suite but when my phone is plugged in and I click back up I get the warning there is no Nokia device plugged in ? As well I get this error; Your phone is in file transfer mode and cannot be used with PC Suite, Quit file transfer mode from the phone

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to access Yahoo email thru the Browser on the Lumia 800 phone. Every time I access the [URL] website and enter my login name and password and submit, I repeatedly get the same page again and again which asks me to verify my password. There seems to be a software error in the Lumia 800. I have contacted the Nokia helpline which was unhelpful as usual. This time, they informed me that this error IS possible while accessing Yahoo email thru the browser and that no solution is possible. The only suggestion they had was to use the synchronization method to access the Yahoo mailbox - but this solution is not feasible for either accessing the older emails and or for sending file attachments.

Actually it will rotate the first time it's used after restarting the phone but any time I use it after that it is stuck in portrait mode. This seems to be new as of today but not sure.

I have been waiting for 10 minutes and on the screen I just keep an empty screen with (after more than 2 minutes) a full blue bar still "loading".I emptied the internet history and cache.A month or so ago I could open sites without any problem. Can it be that my mobile became slower by anything? Can I maybe verify if it has been hacked? Can it have something to do that I configured my e-mail?

Hope someone can help me on subject problem. My 5530XM suddenly cannot load web pages nor web feeds for some reason. WLAN connection is active and I'm able to browse the web using Opera but the default browser just cant open any web page.
View 4 Replies View RelatedUsing the standard browser on my Bold 9700, when I try and do a Google search, or when I look at most pages, the page doesn't load at all. When I refresh it a few times or change between column and regular view some of the page shows up sometimes, but not all of it. I've had my BlackBerry since about a month ago and the problem just started last night.
I've done the battery pull several times, and I've cleared the cache a lot. Problem still persists. Opera meanwhile can load any page.
I don't know of any other fixes, so, is there maybe a way I can reinstall the BlackBerry browser? I would really prefer to use it instead of Opera.
When I open internet, go to page to browse something, starts loading, the blue bar at the bottom looks its loading (however exceptionally slow) and gets to the end, but never actually loads the page.The version of my OS is 5.

My friend downloaded Opera Mini and it works fine. My email also works fine. I wanted to download an app and it didn't work either because I think it was using the brower to open a webpage.

The blue bar will load fully but the actual web page will never open - it's just stuck on the loading screen. It was working really well, then all of a sudden it stopped durin browsing. The phone says the wifi connection is fine, but whenever i go to the broswer and try to go to a website it just says loading at the bottom and nothing happens.
Can anyone help with this? should i restart the phone setting somehow because i might have done changed some setting during browsing without realising or is this an actual issue with the phone?
My 8520 browser has suddenly stopped loading Internet pages.
When ever I try and access the Internet or click a link, the Browser opens up says "requesting" and then "loading" - the Blue Bar starts to slowly load up at the bottom of the screen - and thats it, nothing else happensthe screen remains blank, the Blue bar loads up and ... nothing.
My Mobile plan allows me Internet 2G acess and I also have Wi-Fi - all of which has been working perfectly for 8 months until now.
Wi-Fi and 2G internet appears to work perfectly for my Twitter app and my Emails come thru fine too.
Since my computer automatically downloaded and installed DTM 6.0, I have had nothing but problems. I was unable to get DTM 6 to recognize my BB Curve 8330, so decided to go back to version 5.0.1, which had been working flawlessly. Unfortunately, I have been unable to uninstall 6.0, and keep getting Error 1316.I have looked up all the previous responses to this error, and followed the directions given - have done the clean uninstall as described in KB02206, even doing the "Additional Information" at the bottom of that article, without success. I still show both Blackberry Desktop Managers in the Programs list, but the Control Panel does not recognize them as programs, so I can't uninstall them. I even tried to reinstall version 5.0.1 despite this with no success - same error. I am running Windows Vista, 64 bit with all the critical updates installed. I was using Trend Micro Internet Security initially, but recently switched to BitDefender. I have lots of hard drive space, and have 4 Gb Ram with a Dual core processor.I really hope someone can help me with this. I'm getting more concerned by the day as I have no recent backup of my Life!
