It seems that the call volume on my Lumia 1020 is getting lower and lower... It was fine when I got it about 6 months ago, but it is getting so bad that it is hard to have conversations on it, unless I'm in a really really quiet place...

View 3 Replies View RelatedProbably 60% of the time when I hit the volume down button the option to change the Ringer/Notifications and the Media/Apps volume comes up. I can then, of course, mute the volume on each of those or obviously adjust the volume. However, the other 40% of the time, only the volume for Media/Apps comes up, with no option for the Ringer.
I think this tends to happen when I'm in my car which is communicating with my phone via Bluetooth....could that have a connection to this issue? Also, is there an easier way to mute the phone quickly? Cortana does not seem to perform the mute feature.
I hate being blasted with notifications when I'm jamming out lol. Will this ever be a feature for windows phone? Its damn annoying to have the music blasting and get a notification that will blow out ur eardrums -_-

For ex: when playing a song at level 10 then playing a YouTube video the volume will stay stuck at 10. Even after pressing the volume up and down does nothing. View 11 Replies View RelatedI have been having a serious issue with my Lumia 1020 there is no audio from the phone what so ever. I cant hear people when they ring and they cant hear me. The phone does not let me play music on it or play videos unless I go onto the internet and look at a youtube video but there is still no sound from it. Another issue is that when I go onto the camera app and select to take a video the phone closes its self out of the app. It does this same thing in other apps were I try to play any type of audio. There is no volume control because when the buttons are pressed a small gray strip across the top of the screen appears and goes away after a couple of seconds. Mechanically the buttons work as a have performed multiple master resets on the phone which involves using the volume down button.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've just noticed on my Lumia 1020 that when I have a Bluetooth headset connected to it I don't have the option of adjusting the Ringer volume as the slider disappears. You can see in the screenshot that I only get the one slider for Bluetooth volume.
Is this normal? I found below a topic where someone thought it was normal..if I have the headset connected, but sitting on the desk beside me waiting for a phone call, and I want to adjust the ringer volume. I don't want to have it always in my ear when not on a phone call, and I would've thought the ringer volume for the phone should always be available? Volume/Mute for Windows 8.1
I like to set my phones volume on 18/30. But it seems like every couple hours or so, the phone will reset it back to a default setting of 13/30.

so i was trying to soft reset.but cant open settings as well then I have tried factory reset.
When I turn my Lumia 1020 off and then on the time resets to 3am 20th july even when i change it before hand. It started doing this when i accidentally held the volume down button to switch it on and it came up with a lightning bolt and cog. Then i managed to turn the phone on and now every time i turn my phone off and on the time resets.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm on WP8.1 and haven't had an update for a few weeks however the week before last all of a sudden my phone started to run really slowly. Evening opening the camera app can take 10-20 secs sometimes before it starts and its highly annoying.I've tried restarting, soft reset (which works for a little), emptying temp files and not sure what to do. I have about 3.5gb of memory left on the phone, close all apps properly and don't have a more than around 20 3rd party apps installed so the apps themselves shouldn't be the issue.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have had an iPhone 4S since November 2011, and in the last two weeks whenever I plug in either the Apple headphones or my Sennheiser headphones the volume in the music app is lower than usual, even though the volume bar is in the same place. My headphones are not broken, I have tried with three different pairs of operating headphones.
The only seemable way to fix this is to open Shazam, then go back to music. This brings the volume back to a normal level, until I either pause or skip the song, which takes it back to its lesser volume level.

My Lumia 1020 is not showing the correct time of day (about 2.5 hours fast). When I got it, it did show the correct time of day, but now it doesn't, maybe this could be because I haven't put a sim card in it and activated it yet (just been using the camera).

I have tried combinations of F5 etc. as well as disconnecting the phone and reconnecting it. Nothing happens! After call the volume is back to low. That mean every time a incomming or out going call I have to press the side key to higher the volume. Each time I restart my phone, it loses the current date and time and set's it to some apparent random day. This last time it chose the 16th of May 2012.
I took delivery of it yesterday and it's been fully charged. I've set the Date+time to 'Set Automatically' to 'On'
