May 19, 2010I tried switching on the new nokia X6 that I received today. I get a vibration alert and the red-green button illuminates but the screen is blank! I do hear the Nokia booting sound coming through but the screen is blank. I have been charging for the last 1 hour but I still see no response? Why is this happening? Do I wait longer for it to charge? Pointers please.

Mar 13, 2010tried soft and hard resets [left the battery out for 10 seconds] when i put the battery in the red LED light comes on i have tried pressing the on button whilst this light is on but no response. I tried leaving it without pressing the button for a few minutes but that did not work either.
I also tried the shf +caps +del [holding them down all at once] but this failed to work aswell.

Aug 1, 2012I have my phone less than a year,i do like the phone but recently the speaker went so i had to listen to all calls on loudspeaker,,but most recently the phone just decides to turn itself off every time you make a call,this is reallly annoying me as it shows a full battery,i have tried updating the phone and all sorts,brought it into a guy who fixs phones and still not working,,if any has had similar problems i do not want to get rid of this phone..the phone is an experia mini less than 1 year old

Apr 29, 2015I've had my Xperia Z3 for six months and all was working fine, was really happy with the phone. Until about 2 months ago the phone started intermittedly turning off, I would press the power button to switch back on which wouldnt work for about 5 minutes. The phone would work again for 10 minutes and then the same thing would occur
Battery was fully charged, software was all up to date. After advice from customer support I performed a factory reset and the same problems occured
Since then I have put the phone in for repair and it came back after a couple of days with the fix notes of "software reset"
The phone worked again for a couple of weeks but recently has started to do the exact same thing. I've just put it in for repair again after going over all of the same questions and scenario's as I did the first time around

Dec 24, 2014My M7 died on me and never came back on, so I was wondering if this was an issue with the M8 too? Just the phone turning off and never coming back on. I had a friend whose Galaxy S3 did the same thing.
If it is, is it a very common issue for both the M7 & M8? I loved my M7 and should be upgrading soon, but idk if its a smart decision. Right now prices for both devices are doable, but is it worth it to even invest ~$200?
I would hate to sink in some money and have it blow up in my face again

Aug 3, 2014I just upgraded to cyan 8.1 two days ago... Did a fresh install. I downgraded to Windows 8 and then install cyan. I DID NOT backup my apps, instead I just installed each app one by one.
Only problem i have is that if my phone is charged past 89% it turns off by itself and i have to hit the power button to power it up. (It only turns off by itself if i leave it alone... but when i'm using it, it works fine.)

Nov 25, 2015I'm currently having a really weird problem with my Samsung Galaxy S6 (Android 5.1.1.). When I plug in my headphones and play music in my standard music player, after 20 minutes or something, ALL my volumes are starting a party of their own:
- Google talk (I'm not sure if this is the correct name of the app, Spraak in Dutch) is opening and closing itself 20 times, and keeps talking through my music that she is listening to what I'm saying
- Music volumes are turning themselves up and down, if it's going up and I'm pushing the down button I'm battling against my phone - and the phone wins
- My ring volume is turning itself to the maximum, while it was on buzzing
- This is all happening at the same time, the only solutions seems to be turning off the phone. If I close all the apps they just open themselves again.

This is a problem as I use my xperia x8 as my alarm clock which in turn means that I can never turn my phone off and that I have to trust that the phone does not turn off by itself in the night (which it sometimes does) to be sure to get up in the morning if I have important meetings etc. This seems R&D wise a step back as my old sony ericsson w880i could do exactly this

May 8, 2010IPhone 3G OS 3.0 jailbroken and unlocked. Phone wont charge, or turn on. I get the silver apple, but it shuts off after that. Reset method of home key and power yield same result. Itunes does not see phone. When I hold home key, the Itunes logo and USB cable appear and I am able to get it on Itunes, with option of restore to factory settings. Several questions and concerns:
1) This will wipe all data and contacts?
2) My OS will return to 2.2 something i belive. Can i still download OS 3.0 and the firmware to needed? Phone must be unlocked/jailbroken for use on my carrier.

Apr 21, 2015My screen keeps turning off every 3 seconds even when using my phone. I tried extending the sleep time but regardless of the time chosen it turns off the screen within 3 seconds. I then turned off Stamina mode and it seems to be fine now. But now my battery will die faster without stamina mode. The long lasting battery is why I chose an Xperia Z3.

Jul 19, 2014I got my Nexus 5 on the 2nd of this month. I'm on Android 4.4.4. Just today, I was out and about and I realized that, although I was going into settings and turning Wi-Fi off, it just kept turning it right back on! (I had been using the Wi-Fi at the mall, then later I went to a friend's house and connected to my friend's Wi-Fi, which did not work.) So, I turned on my data, only for it to turn off after I guess about 30 seconds. I turned it back on, went on WhatsApp, in the middle of replying to a text from my friend it goes off yet again! What the... So, I went into settings and turned data on, and Wi-Fi off. As I watched, the Wi-Fi switched itself back on, and, predictably, even though there were no wireless networks to connect to, my data turned off as well.
This is really inconvenient. What could be causing the problem? I don't think I've downloaded any apps recently, but they do sometimes update. It was working fine on Thursday, but I've had my data off since then. I also booted into Safe Mode, and the problem doesn't seem to persist.
