Just set up my G4 tonight.. however, after the set up.. (H815 on EE UK with v10i firmware) but when my phone rang, the G4 said "Unfortunately Phone has stopped working", after testing it on another phone i could hear the line Ring..Ringing in the ear piece..

View 2 Replies View RelatedI rinsed my phone under the tap today because someone got chocolate icing on the screen. I didn't submerse it in water and i haven't dropped it. I simply ran it under the tap for no more than 5 seconds then dried it on my shirt and now the touchscreen doesnt work.
I made sure the flaps were closed and i've checked the indicators, on both sides they are yellow/white and not pink.
I'm trying a repair through the computer as restarting the phone has done nothing.
After switching off my Xperia Z3 from charging.. My keyboard started giving message..Unfortunately XPERIA keyboard has stopped working. Only thing i cud do was click Ok and it repeatedly showed up untill i restarted.

I tried to swipe open the lock screen just now, the screen went blank, the sensors don't respond to to me trying to access it, and pressing he power button does nothing. It's been on the charger for much of the day today so I know the battery isn't drained.

I added the wireless charging antenna NeWisdom® from amazon and it worked well with my different qi chargers including Itian A6 Qi Three Coils Wireless Charging Pad with 5V from amazon for couple of months.
Last week i used the fast charger that comes with a nexus 6 and since then wireless charging stopped working for me ( i tried multiple wireless chargers CHOE UPGRADED Qi Wireless Charger Charging Pad from amazon). Even worse using the cable directly from the wireless charger i referred above does not work ( other charger cables i have seem to work ok when i plug them in).

Reflashing the ROM
Wiping and Reflashing the ROM
Wiping and Reflashing the ROM, without ElementalX
Wiping and Flashing an older version
Wiping and formating of user data too + Reflashing
complete reset by doing fastboot oem lock/unlock
flashing of the factory image of Android 6
Each time the result is the same. When the phone was still running cyanogen I had adb while it was booting (that's no longer the case) and I saw nothing striking ... it would have one (pc) screen worth of log (logcat) and then nothing it would just stop. I couldn't spot anything in kernel logs either (dmesg/last_kmsg).
The recovery is working fine ... I was able to start an ssh server and use it... it's just android that won't boot.
Recently my Nexus 5 stopped working. I get no display, But I can assume the phone is on because when I connect it, the holder on my computer opens up.
I assume there is something wrong with the connection. sometimes i can play with the daughterboard and the backlight lights up. but there is still no display.
The problem is that the phone is in PTP instead of MPT.
I don't care about the phone much as the pictures on it, because they are the last picture I have of a family member that recently passed away in an accident.
Even though the phone is rooted. when I load up Nexus toolkit, the phone is listed as unauthorized and I don't know how to pull any files off of it.
I used to have the S5 and was playing Spotify via Bluetooth onto my car stereo system which is a Dodge Journey with the UConnect system. All worked fine. Recently got the S6 Edge and now can't get it to remain connected for more than 30 seconds. Phone says Bluetooth has unexpectedly stopped working.

Had to turn off then turned back on and nothing was different. Did this a few times as I spend a lot of time on my phone and once I was in an app then I could not get back out so I had to keep turning on and off. After a few hours of this the phone crashed and made me reset on iTunes. Did this and it still doesn't work. Phone is a a couple months old as I used my insurance after the last one went swimming.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just recently fixed this same issue with my Nexus 7, but this is a whole different beast. I used Check My Android to check my accelerometers, and they are functioning just fine. I cleared my cache and then cleared/reformatted the partition. Then I did a factory reset because I was losing my mind. It's still not working. I went into the display settings to turn on the auto rotate manually and it will rotate with that screen up but not on my home screen or in any other app.

I know that if I hold on the home screen and click the wallpaper settings, I get a little toggle which switches the motion effect on/off. But what ever I do it still makes no difference to the home screen. it still stays the same. Is there something that I am missing or can I downgrade to lollipop 5.0?

I can not hear it ringing when someone call, but if I see someone calling and I answer the call they can hear me and I can hear them fine. I also can't not put the caller on speaker at all , I also can't hear my music or gaming apps. When I turn my phone on or off it does not make a sound as well. I have turned the phone off and turned it off by pressing the top button and home button at the same time and that did not work. I checked the volume and the mute button and the volume is up all the way.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI spent an hour looking for a solution but all I can find is all sorts of recent complaints about this same exact problem with no working solution. This only happens with the rear camera. If I switch right away to front camera it works fine. The camera UI comes up with a black screen where what you are pointing at is expected to be seen. Also attempts to use the builtin flashlight toggle fails to keep the flash on for more than a second or two. Which is about the same time to error message when opening the camera. I don't use the camera much and so the last time I used it was prior to the update to (whatever of these numbers is the one indicating it: build LMY47D, soft ver LS991ZV5). Oh sprint LGLS991.
I have rebooted several times, force closed and cleared data and cache for the camera, and from most every place a factory reset was recommended but didn't correct the issue. So I have not done one and without a proper method to back up each apps data (without root, like it should have but doesn't, oh man am I still angry about that) this has to be a very very worst case scenario to do it.
Here's the deal: been using the default alarm the whole year, running Lollipop in Priority Mode - - everything working a-ok.
After having overslept twice it was time for some troubleshooting: the alarm did start by lighting the screen but no sound/vibration. And here it gets weird: when I try the alarm in normal mode with everything up to eleven (sound/vibration) it still gives me nothing.. Also tried a third-party alarm app,
I suspect it happened after one of the recent sense updates.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI couldn't type at all on my G3 as the keyboard stopped popping up when clicking a text field - luckily I had Swype installed (as I'd bought it for a previous phone that had a rubbish stock keyboard) to use as a back up so I made Swype the default and could type again... however, I miss my LG Keyboard and it's emoticons but I cannot turn it back on - when going into the 'language & input methods' menu, I can adjust the settings for it, but the tick box to turn it on is greyed out?I tried the usual turn off and on etc, but it's still greyed out and seemingly can't be turned on.
