Sep 13, 2015I spent an hour looking for a solution but all I can find is all sorts of recent complaints about this same exact problem with no working solution. This only happens with the rear camera. If I switch right away to front camera it works fine. The camera UI comes up with a black screen where what you are pointing at is expected to be seen. Also attempts to use the builtin flashlight toggle fails to keep the flash on for more than a second or two. Which is about the same time to error message when opening the camera. I don't use the camera much and so the last time I used it was prior to the update to (whatever of these numbers is the one indicating it: build LMY47D, soft ver LS991ZV5). Oh sprint LGLS991.
I have rebooted several times, force closed and cleared data and cache for the camera, and from most every place a factory reset was recommended but didn't correct the issue. So I have not done one and without a proper method to back up each apps data (without root, like it should have but doesn't, oh man am I still angry about that) this has to be a very very worst case scenario to do it.

May 17, 2015Here's the deal: been using the default alarm the whole year, running Lollipop in Priority Mode - - everything working a-ok.
After having overslept twice it was time for some troubleshooting: the alarm did start by lighting the screen but no sound/vibration. And here it gets weird: when I try the alarm in normal mode with everything up to eleven (sound/vibration) it still gives me nothing.. Also tried a third-party alarm app,
LG G3 :: Keyboard Is Stopped Working?
Nov 21, 2014I couldn't type at all on my G3 as the keyboard stopped popping up when clicking a text field - luckily I had Swype installed (as I'd bought it for a previous phone that had a rubbish stock keyboard) to use as a back up so I made Swype the default and could type again... however, I miss my LG Keyboard and it's emoticons but I cannot turn it back on - when going into the 'language & input methods' menu, I can adjust the settings for it, but the tick box to turn it on is greyed out?I tried the usual turn off and on etc, but it's still greyed out and seemingly can't be turned on.

Dec 4, 2014I recently purchased a used iPhone 5 for cheap. I replaced the battery and it worked right away. It took several hours for the phone to charge completely and after I unplugged it, it drained very fast. The phone was still tied to the previous owner's account, so I wondered if it was draining fast because it was searching for something via my wi-fi. I charged it again before I went to bed, but unplugged it so I could charge my iPad overnight. When I woke up the next morning, it was under 20%. I went to work and got a hold of the previous owner to get her to remove the phone from her iCloud account. I called my girlfriend and asked her to plug in the phone so that it was on when she removed it. When I got home from work, the phone wasn't working. The screen didn't light up and there was no sign that it worked at all. I left it plugged in for the next 24 hours and it still didn't work. Holding the home and sleep/wake buttons do nothing. My used iPhone is a metal and glass brick. Found out from the previous owner that these were the exact symptoms she had before it stopped working and the battery needed to be replaced.

Nokia :: E72 - Screen Seems To Have Stopped Working
May 21, 2010My E72 has started playing up recently. First it wouldn't recognize when I remove/insert earphones and would permanently think earphones were in, so couldn't make calls etc because I wouldn't be able to hear anything. Now the screen seems to have stopped working. I get lights on the keypad and can connect it to my pc but can see nothing on the screen, is completely blank. I noticed just before this happened it would seem to struggle to come off screen saver when I unlocked the keypad i.e. would take a long time and the screen would look messed up for a few seconds before coming round. I'm also pretty sure i've noticed a red light flash where the flash is once or twice since its stopped working.
I tried updating firmware to sort the earphone problem and the screen has died since then. Tried hard resetting to to avail. Have only got this phone relatively recently to replace another nokia that failed... really not happy about this...

Mar 7, 2010Got an E72 last week and went throug the e-mail setup and added a hotmail account and it worked fine. After three days or so the e-mails just stopped coming into the phone. When I checked my hotmail account on my PC I found a lot of new mails. I tried to delete the account and add it again. The result is an empty inbox. When I try to sync It says that it is connected to hotmail and that it is updating but I donīt get any e-mails to the phone.Any ideas what could have happend and how to solve this. I think I have changed all the settings and tried everyting and read a lot of threads on diffrent forums but I canīt find an answer.

As of yesterday Nokia Messaging stopped updating on my E72. I have made no changes and not installed anything on my E72 for weeks. However, Nokia Messaging is working properly on my E71 (I use the same Nokia Messaging account on both my E71 and my E72).

However, the low reliability of Nokia Messaging as well as no dedicated support has gotten me to think twice before I dare to suggest that to my clients.
Nokia :: Ovi Player Has Stopped Working?
Jan 23, 2010Everytime I try to open Nokia Ovi Player a message comes up saying 'a problem caused the program to stop working correctly, Windows will close the program and notify you if there is a solution available. I've uninstalled and then reinstalled the program and followed advice I saw on another discussion page to delete something through my local disc/program data/nokia - can't remember the name of the file I deleted but it didn't make any difference. I'm using windows vista. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

I'm assuming if I take it back to the Apple store at the weekend, if they have stock, they'll have to give me a brand new replacement? It's just over a week old, so I'd want one in a sealed box!
