Since I've had success on my last query I have another now. I have a Vodafone VBH-600, aka 6xx plantronics bluetooth headset and I cannot get it to pair with the 5230-"device not found" is all I get. Is it not compatible or like last problem is there just a simple solution?
I have been using the X 2nd Generation for 3 months now. However I have been unable to tether my device for using my phone's Internet on other devices. It shows that WiFi is connected on other devices but when trying to connect to the Internet it says that no internet connection was found. This happens with my IPad, My Windows laptop as well as other mobile device.
After the 5.0 update, I went to add my Moto 360 as a trusted device and when I went to the Smart Lock menu option under Security settings I was surprised that there wasn't a Smart Lock menu option in there.
This is right out of the release notes from motorola: "Android Lollipop adds native support for allowing trusted devices to keep your phone unlocked (such as your Moto 360, a Bluetooth car kit or headset, etc.). Smart Lock replaces the prior trusted device capability in your Motorola phone. Note that you will need to add your trusted devices back after the transition to Lollipop in the Security settings menu under Smart Lock."
Noticed this option missing when your Moto X 2014 was upgraded to Lollipop.
At some point right after I got my phone I plugged it into my laptop. I clicked on the notification that came up and was given the option to change how it connects to my laptop. One of the options was "Charge Only". I cannot find anywhere in the settings where to change it back.
up until 2 days ago i could use wifi on my nokia 5800. My phone no longer appears to be able to connect to wlan. When I go to settings, connectivity the wlan settings option is no longer there. I dont understand what has happened to make this option disapear. I am using software version 30.0.011.
I have a Nokia N97 and am having a couple of problems with it.Software Version 20.0.0.019. (There is an update to v2.1, but when I check for updates it says that no updates are available, so to double check I typed my code into the "check if my device is compatible with upgrade etc..." and it says that the current compatible version is 20.0.0.019.
Are some N97's compatible with the update and others not?The most annoying problem I have at the moment is that even when a WLAN network is available, setup and tested as being able to be used for surfing the web or for applications, there are some applications (Ovi Store is one of them), that refuse to use the WLAN and instead wants to use the much more expensive internet provided by GPRS I think..
So I tried deleting the GPRS connection (in destinations/internet) in an effort to stop the software for selecting that connection and hopefully defaulting or allowing me to select my wireless network, which were all set with a higher priority than the GPRS connection, even before I deleted it.
Imagine my amusement when it still wanted to use the GPRS connection, and somehow managed to, even though the connection is no longer setup on my N97.Does anyone know if there is a setting I am overlooking or something I am missing?
I cant connect to internet using x10 mini pro. I have downloaded gprs settings but when I use the browser. It give an error no internet connection. I have tried everything in the support page but no luck.
I've searched and am struggling to find much on these. What do they do, and how are they different?
According to HTC: Note: IfData connection is selected, HTC One automatically disconnects from the mobile network after 15 minutes when the screen is off and the data connection is idle (no download activity, streaming, or data usage). It reconnects and then disconnects periodically when the data connection is idle to save battery power.
Do these affect mobile data, Wifi, or both? Do they affect anything else?
I've left these off because I don't know how they work, and am getting fairly short battery life (10 to 15 hours, depending on use).
I've recently bought a Nokia 5800 xm and have been able to connect it to my home internet using the wlan wifi.
I can only use the wifi if i go to settings>connectivity>wlan. If i go straight to internet, it tries to connect to t-mobile internet. This also happens when trying to use applications such as bbc iplayer and the ovi store.
Is there a way of setting the wifi connection as the default connection? If not, is there a way of setting up my applications so they connect using wifi?
I just received my 808 replaced by Nokia for the 3G bug issue. Now I have been noticing that annoying Connection Failed connection unavailable message every few seconds. Turned the positioning methods OFF and the frequency of the error message goes away but it still pops up every few minutes. I did a hard reset, removed the memory card where most of my apps are installed and it still gives me that same error. Ordered a new SIM to see if that makes any difference - none - Still same error message. That message is so annoying. Anyone have any other ideas that I could try ? Privacy mode is OFF also.
Ok I have a 808 bought it as a camera after it updated it, I get this unacceptable repeated popup"Connection Failed Connection Unavailable".Its like every 30 seconds. Its total black background message occupies valuable screen real estate at the top of the screen and repeatedly hinders normal usage of the device, causing especially unpleasant experience when capturing pictures or video. How do nokia users like me go about disabling this message and continue enjoying the experience of the brand we choose to trust?
In the "message settings' option menu, "e-mail settings" isn't available. I have managed to set up several email accounts by simply going into the 'email" option in the "messaging" menu, but I can't set the phone to check for emails automatically or to notify me of new emails, etc, etc, in other words, I have no menu option, for adjusting the settings for emails. I am running the latest version of the software
There is no "Voicemail settings" in the "Call settings" section. It seems like a first page of Call settings is missing because at the top of the list it says "Call settings", then immediately under that it says "Other call settings".
i dunno if this has been posted on here but supposedly gizmodo got their hands on a 4g i phone prototype that was disguised in a special case made to look like a 3gs.
My email [URL] and [URL] can't be setup in BIS due to the Blackberry can't recognize my email domain. I check my domains, mx, dns, etc, and there is no issue at all.
I just exchanged my bold 9900. The store gave me the white one because black was out of stock. The phone has firmware version 7.0.0.296. It says no new updates found when i use the desktop manager or blackberry.com/update. Its a generic 9900. on my old black one i found a new software update. Is there something wrong or are firmware different for the white model?
I have tried multiple times but it just shows the same screen on my phone, with itunes, the arrow, and the usb cord. My computer when I try to restore the iphone says the iphone cannot be restored. the iphone was not found.
I have reinstalled iTunes from scratch(uninstalled all Apple stuff first), but no matter what I try iTunes will not find my iPhone to sync...I have rebboted everything and tried all readily available Apple tips
