My LG G4 screen goes black out after I make an outgoing call or after I receive an incoming call. Basically, it just goes black during call.
The screen wouldn't wake up despite me tapping on it, or pressing all the available buttons. Holding the power button does trigger a vibration, but I don't see a thing on the screen. However, it does wake up when I plug in the earpiece.
If I want to make the Z5 a call and dial the number and pick up the phone, the screen goes black and I can do nothing more. It then responds to anything, not even on the Power button until the other ends the call. Then, the screen lights up again and it goes back all normal.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIf I make a call as soon as I press to dial the screen goes black and I can't reactivate it unless the person in the other end hangs up, so if it goes to voice mail I have to restart my device, if the person hangs up I have to double tap the power button to wake it up but that activates the camera, that's the only way I'm able to do it.

Do your Nexus 6P screen go black during a call. Mine does on every call. My display settings is set for 1-minute. I call Huawei support. The lady says that the screen is suppose to go and stay off during a call. Never heard of that from a phone. You cannot respond or do anything during the call.

My phone used to keep a charge for THREE days...it was wonderful! Now since the update, I have to charge it every day even if it's just standby. Plus, if I'm on a call with the screen turned off, when an incoming call comes in, I am unable to turn the screen back on in order to answer. Plus, sometimes the phone is so sensitive that when the face is pressed up against it, it goes haywire and cancels out a call. The sensitivity is way too high. I am using Straight Talk as my provider so is there a way, I can remove all the AT&T stuff? And which ones do I not need? I don't like a lot of bloatware on my phone.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am helping out a friend who has a Nokia 6280. She claimed that it's infected by a virus because her problems started after using a Bluetooth headset. I don't quite believe this as I've heard it's more likely to be struck by lightning than to have this phone infected with a virus. Anyhow, the problem is the following: When you power on the phone, you get the Nokia handshake, then the phone loads. However, as soon as the phone loads, a bunch of black lines appear to streak across the screen rendering it black. That's not a huge issue because it goes away after a few seconds. Now I've read this could be an issue related to the ribbon that connects to the screen, but the screen turning black does not occur in any other instance other than right after when the main screen appears. I can play with the slider all day and nothing will happen, but like clockwork the problem appears after the phone loads.What gives? The phone works fine otherwise, so what could the problem be? If you need any more information I will be happy to provide. I've uploaded a video of this issue here (using my 5800 XpressMusic at night - the quality isn't that great sorry, but it does show the problem). Pardon the audio - my kids were watching Spongebob Squarepants so you might want to turn the audio all the way down! I guess my question is two-fold:
1) can this in fact be the result of a virus?
2) if this isn't due to a virus, what is it due to?

View 5 Replies View Relatedat several times a day a call alert shows up and the iPhone freezes. The Accept or Cancel buttons offered by the alert does not work nor the the home button, nor the restart button. My only way out is to force-restart the phone. While the call alert is on, (By "call alert" I am referring to a full black screen that displays a message saying something like "you have received a call from ###-####") the iPhone wont go to sleep, it overheats and the battery runs out fast. Maybe related to this problem... who knows... is that my Bluetooth does not work properly. Cant pair with a Jabra EasyGo headset. I have fully restored the system and the problem is still there.

First of all i was sending a message and the screen randomly went black and red lines came across the screen for a few seconds then it went back to my message .. I have a Blackberry Curve 8530. Several months ago, during daily use, the screen would all of a sudden go black. A battery pull would solve this problem for a while. Eventually this became more frequent. Symptoms progressed (it seemed that if I set the phone down too quickly it would reset) Finally, the phone would turn on, then go immediately to a white screen where it was undetectable by my computer. I contacted my service provider and they said the phone was toast and (amazingly enough) gave me a free loaner to use for the duration of my contract (all info transfered via an old backup, so nothing was lost) After my new phone was working I left my Curve plugged in at my office. Yesterday as I was leaving I looked at the phone again, and the screen was white and telling me to reload software 507.
I plugged it into my computer to begin the process and to my surprise the computer all of a sudden detected the phone and successfully upgraded the software. All looked great, I got past the password stage, and was just going to begin reloading my information when the screen faded to blank again. I still have the free loaner phone, so it's not a big deal, but it's bugging me as to what the problem could be. As of right now the computer can no longer detect the phone again
