When in the stock messenger app, clicking on a conversation, there is a half second delay before the conversation opens. Is this normal? I don't know if this was there in the beginning but it does it now.

So my Bold 9780 has been acting very weird lately. And for some reason I think it has somethign to do with BB Protect. It wanted to do an update while I was in a wifi zone and then thigns started going wrong from that day.So what happens is i'll be scanning thru the icons and they'll just open without me clicking on them. Also, when texting or using bbm, my msg will send without me clicking send. So I will be half done a msg and it'll send. Finally, I've tried to battery out, restore, and all those classic quick fix optoins and they haven't worked.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen recieving a new text message and tapping on the notification, the text messaging app always opens to a previous point in the conversation, several messages up from the latest text that I just recieved. This means that every time I get a new text, after opening up the text messaging app I have to scroll down to see what the latest message actually was.I am using SwfitKey (an altnernative keyboard) currently, but the issue happens with the standard keyboard as well. I figured it could be because swiftkey is popping up and blocking the bottom few messages, forcing me to scroll down to see them, but this does not appear to be the case, unless every keyboard is doing this.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI received my upgrade on Monday - a shiney new Blackberry Bold 9700. After setting it all up and getting the phone how i liked it, I started to notice problems........
My Blackberry messenger either didn't work or sent & received messages hours after they were actually sent.The internet was painfully slow if it loaded at all.
If I tried to make calls it would rarely work either taking forever to connect or when it did try to connect, I would hear a triple beep repeatedly as though there was a problem.When people tried to call me, they would go straight to my voicemail even though I was not on a call and had full signal.
My network provider immediately agreed to replace the handset and get me a new one out the next day and today I received the new handset. I've come home, tried to make a few calls on the handset before setting it up and all I am getting is an SOS symbol where the signal symbol should be and I am not able to make calls or do anything else.
I tried to restore the backed up file from my last handset and although it restored my numbers & text messages as well as my background image & alarms, it has not restored my programmes that I had installed and it has not restored my email and facebook settings. Am I doing something wrong or do I have another faulty handset?
For some reason when trying to use either the AOL IM or Google Chat client, the phone doesn't make any audio notifications of new messages in a conversation. I've made sure that under more/settings play sound on new messages and vibrate on new messages are checked, but the phone doesn't do that.

The bottom half of the display is less bright than the upper half.
It came into contact with water but not in a high amount, about five drops hit the iphone and I dried them imminently away.
I still got the protection plan active, but it would be better if I could fix it right away. Â Â

His text message gets interrupted halfway through by an old message he sent before (be it a previous message from a few minutes ago or from weeks ago!) It only happens with texts from him, no-one else. I've tried deleting our conversation but it makes no difference. It's getting so frustrating cos I have to keep asking him to text me again and a lot of the time I just get another 'cracked' text!

I didn't upgrade anything - the phone came with the latest FW version available. I have tried to reinstall Ovi Store, which is also the latest version, with no success. If I don't check it right away and check it like 30 minutes later, I go to the messages folder as usual and the email is in the list there, but the envelope icon shows that it's already opened. When I woke up this morning I found that my passlock had been removed and safari had opened numerous pages of websites of which I do not go to. View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my iPhone to my computer, iTunes only SOMETIMES opens up. I would say it's less than half the time. I know the computer is seeing the iPhone because the "disk drive" box that pops up (that shows the photo directory) ALWAYS opens and I see it in device manager. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes numerous times and it didn't help. It's a Windows 7 64bit PC. The phone is jailbroken but it did the same thing before the JB.

At the beginning of the week I had the blue screen of death (boot configuration error) - and had to re-install the software- which I did successfully a few days ago. All was good... The camera worked for a few days and then boom- as of today it just boots me back to the start screen when I go to take a pic.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm new to the Android world as I switch from iPhone 5 to this new LG G3 that is 5 days old. Last week I downloaded some apps from play store everything was good. Then I removed some factory Apps that I will never use and all of sudden Play Store stop working. It was loading properly but when you hit the install, it would just spin and spin. So talking to the place I got it we did a factory reset and everything was fine again. I installed a bunch of apps and everything was ok.
Yesterday I only remove 1 app and right after I did that I tested Play store and it worked fine. Later at night I tried to install another app and it said that it finished downloading and it would install later. That never happen and now I'm getting a just a grey screen when Play store opens.
I love my new phone except for this Play store issues. I know I could restore again but seriously I don't want to consistently do that over and over. Plus I have to download all my app as again and configure them.
When I use my phone I will be on something e.g text messages or notes or something like that all of a sudden playstore will open and kinda reccomend a app. It's so fustrating

They are saved in my documents folder although when I try to open the file I receive an error message saying I don't have an app to open file. When I try to find an application to open the doc file such as Word I get another message saying the file is corrupt and can not be opened.
