Samsung :: SCH A870 - Phone With White Screen / How To Transfer Pictures?
Jun 6, 2010My wife's internal screen has became pure white, and is absolutely non readable! My wife has over 400 pictures of our children on the phone. The phone in question is a Samsung Siren SCH-A870 Cricket.
Is all hope lost? I pray not. I am desperate as to what may be the best way to salvage the photos from the phones Bluetooth, onto my laptop? Is there a menu prompt I can use, to send the photos to my laptop, via blue tooth? I seek the manufacturers manual for the Samsung Siren SCH-A870 Cricket. Sadly, I was not able to make any rhyme nor reason from it. The graphics were awful. I know this was a dumb error to save the pictures of our kids on a cell phone.

The rest of the phone works - it charges, turns on (the 4 buttons light up as well as the light on the top) and the speakers for the ringtones and alerts works as well. I am desperate to get the pictures and am seeking all advice possible.

BB Bold :: Accidentally Deleted Some Pictures From Phone - Recover The Deleted Pictures?
May 23, 2012I accidentally deleted some pictures from my phone. I downloaded a software1 (not permitted to disclose the software) to recover my deleted pictures. However I could not recover them as this software was not free. I then downloaded blackberry desktop software and backed up everything. When I downloaded ZAR 9.1 it showed my memory card as being emptied. I then tried the software1 and it showed my memory card being emptied as well. I would like to learn how I can recover these pictures.

Apr 4, 2010I've just gotten a Bold 9700 and noticed that even though I have the option to sync the profile pictures of my friends with my contacts profiles on the phone, the pictures for my phone contacts remain blank. The Facebook profiles are linked to my contacts and sometimes will show the Facebook profile picture but after a while the picture reverts to a blank icon again. I've also unselected the option to sync and re-enabled the option to update Blackberry contacts with my Facebook contacts to try and force the pictures to update but no success.
I was thinking that it might also be because of a conflict wiyth other apps trying to update the contact pictures seeing as I originally imported all my contatcs from my Gmail account but I am unable to figure out which other apps, if any, are updating contact pics and thereby turn them off.
Blackberry contacts linked to a LinkedIn profile show their LinkedIn profile pics correctly though and other than that I only have BB Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook that are linked to my Blackberry contacts.Any ideas on how I can get my contacts' pictures to sync correctly with Facebook?

May 13, 2010I got a replacement iPhone due to battery issues a couple weeks ago and ever since then my contacts pictures only come up very small in the top right corner of my screen if I receive a call. On my last phone, the contact picture took up the whole screen.I did some research and it seems that this is caused from syncing your contacts and their pictures onto your phone instead of adding them from your phone manually. I assume that I synced them with my Gmail and them Gmail put them back onto my new phone and this is what messed them up.Anybody know how I can remove all my contacts pictures and then re-sync them with Facebook? Or any other type of workaround?

Jul 31, 2011This is the 2nd time this has happened to me with my Torch and I was curious to see if anyone else was having this problem.
On the left side of my screen its a black "cloud" that appears. When I look into my camera lens, it looks as if the framing that protects the lens from the BlackBerry's shell has fallen and is in the way of the lens, creating that "cloud".
I bought my first phone brand new from Rogers and literally maybe 2 days after my 30 day warranty this happened. I got Rogers to send me a refurbished phone (which by the way had some scuffs in it) and within a few months, this happened again.
Does anyone know if Rogers or BlackBerry will fix this for me? If not does anyone know how much it costs?

When connected to the computer I access the SD card, then the DCIM folder, but then it only shows a '.thumbnails' folder. When I open this folder it only shows 496 RAW files that I can't open. I have 1422 photos on my phone.

I had over 1500-2000 pictures including videos on my phones gallery and yesterday when my phone keep saying I have low memory I decided to download it onto my computer but realized that my computer did not recognized the phone because I had already set up my old phone with the same computer.
Usually on iPhone I can use one computer for all my apple products apparently not for androids so it seem as if I needed a new computer for different phones. I ended up taking out my phone to begin to email them to myself so I can delete them to create more space for more picture or videos that was when I realized my phone gallery was empty. I taught it wasn't bordering me but I realized I couldn't function those pictures means the world to me more than the phone.

Oct 17, 2013I wanted to take all my high res photos off of my 1020 to back them up, also to free space but when I connect it to my Windows Desktop PC and go to the camera roll folder and select all the high res photos, Windows constantly says an unexpected error occurred and cannot transfer the photos It asks if I want to try again and nothing works. I then tried to import the photos using iPhoto on my Macbook Pro and it sees the phone as 909, and just says Loading...I left it for 2 hours and still says loading. iPhoto didn't freeze it is just not reading the photos.

Jul 29, 2014I recently went to a festival, and took my old Samsung Galaxy S2. Once I was home, I transferred a load of the videos I had taken onto my HTC, placing them in a new folder; HTC One_M8Internal storagePicturesGlobal.
I noticed that after doing that, I no longer had any pictures on my HTC that had been taken with the camera, which I thought was odd. I have now taken the videos back off my HTC, and my pictures still aren't there.
The only pictures that are present are the thumbnails, which are not useful.

Jul 24, 2010Don't know if I'll explain this perfectly in all the correct technical language but I just got a replacement refurbished BB Tour 9630 and now my PC doesn't recognize it when it is plugged in, at least it won't let me view the folder structure like I used to be able to with my original phone; so basically when I plug my phone into my PC and try to upload photos to flickr I'm unable to, even after launching the Media Manager. I can't remember if I had this problem before with the original one and did something to get it to work or if it just automatically worked.
