'm having trouble accessing the phone, can back it up and restore it but can't see it as a drive or view the pictures. Downloaded and redownload the software, sees the phone but gives the error message 'can't communicate with device' when I ask for pictures or music.

Now onto my BB I have now with Sprint.. I can't figure out how to send pix msgs with pix that I've taken and are in my phone. As well when someone sends me a pix message I have to go to the wed on my phone to receive it?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI accidentally deleted some pictures from my phone. I downloaded a software1 (not permitted to disclose the software) to recover my deleted pictures. However I could not recover them as this software was not free. I then downloaded blackberry desktop software and backed up everything. When I downloaded ZAR 9.1 it showed my memory card as being emptied. I then tried the software1 and it showed my memory card being emptied as well. I would like to learn how I can recover these pictures.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just gotten a Bold 9700 and noticed that even though I have the option to sync the profile pictures of my friends with my contacts profiles on the phone, the pictures for my phone contacts remain blank. The Facebook profiles are linked to my contacts and sometimes will show the Facebook profile picture but after a while the picture reverts to a blank icon again. I've also unselected the option to sync and re-enabled the option to update Blackberry contacts with my Facebook contacts to try and force the pictures to update but no success.
I was thinking that it might also be because of a conflict wiyth other apps trying to update the contact pictures seeing as I originally imported all my contatcs from my Gmail account but I am unable to figure out which other apps, if any, are updating contact pics and thereby turn them off.
Blackberry contacts linked to a LinkedIn profile show their LinkedIn profile pics correctly though and other than that I only have BB Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook that are linked to my Blackberry contacts.Any ideas on how I can get my contacts' pictures to sync correctly with Facebook?
I can't tranfer my pictures from my phone. All my pictures are saved to my SD card. When connected to the computer I access the SD card, then the DCIM folder, but then it only shows a '.thumbnails' folder. When I open this folder it only shows 496 RAW files that I can't open. I have 1422 photos on my phone.

I created an album and moved the pictures from all camera picture folder to my album. I then deleted them from the selfie camera and realised they were gone from my folder i moved them to. I had over 1500-2000 pictures including videos on my phones gallery and yesterday when my phone keep saying I have low memory I decided to download it onto my computer but realized that my computer did not recognized the phone because I had already set up my old phone with the same computer.
Usually on iPhone I can use one computer for all my apple products apparently not for androids so it seem as if I needed a new computer for different phones. I ended up taking out my phone to begin to email them to myself so I can delete them to create more space for more picture or videos that was when I realized my phone gallery was empty. I taught it wasn't bordering me but I realized I couldn't function those pictures means the world to me more than the phone.
I wanted to take all my high res photos off of my 1020 to back them up, also to free space but when I connect it to my Windows Desktop PC and go to the camera roll folder and select all the high res photos, Windows constantly says an unexpected error occurred and cannot transfer the photos It asks if I want to try again and nothing works. I then tried to import the photos using iPhoto on my Macbook Pro and it sees the phone as 909, and just says Loading...I left it for 2 hours and still says loading. iPhoto didn't freeze it is just not reading the photos.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently went to a festival, and took my old Samsung Galaxy S2. Once I was home, I transferred a load of the videos I had taken onto my HTC, placing them in a new folder; HTC One_M8Internal storagePicturesGlobal.
I noticed that after doing that, I no longer had any pictures on my HTC that had been taken with the camera, which I thought was odd. I have now taken the videos back off my HTC, and my pictures still aren't there.
The only pictures that are present are the thumbnails, which are not useful.
I just purchased the Straight Talk LG220c phone & I have found out how to put my own ringtones & pictures onto the phone thanks to this forum. The only thing left for me to do with this phone is to get some games put onto it. I have read previous posts which stated, as I know already, that the phone doesn't come with any games already on it. I went to www.tagtag.com to put games onto the phone but .jad & .jar files aren't compatible with the phone at all. Which game file format, if any, is compatible with the phone?

Don't know if I'll explain this perfectly in all the correct technical language but I just got a replacement refurbished BB Tour 9630 and now my PC doesn't recognize it when it is plugged in, at least it won't let me view the folder structure like I used to be able to with my original phone; so basically when I plug my phone into my PC and try to upload photos to flickr I'm unable to, even after launching the Media Manager. I can't remember if I had this problem before with the original one and did something to get it to work or if it just automatically worked.
