My freind blue tooth some picture over to my phone and I would like to use one of the pictures as a screen saver but my phone is saying the file is to large so how can I reduce the size of the file to fit my phone which is a 5230.

Now for the last week I have Packet data could not send text to the person and I can't see how to delete this problem.Then of course nearly every time I go to use phone it flashes up. View 4 Replies View RelatedMy mobile is a Nokia N8. I recently updated Phone Apps, I'm not very technical so I followed all prompts asked of me. It advised to restart my phone which I did. When the phone restarted, I lost 3months worth of pictures, my profiles (general, silent etc) were reset but still had messages in my inbox, and god knows what else I haven't noticed yet.I must note also that I received text messages from O2, my service provider. They said, message 1 "you'll receive settings for our phone to allow you to easily access O2's great services". Message 2 "Select Save from Options to configure all settings". I followed these messages. I contacted O2 who advised it was nothing to do with them!!! Not one bit helpful either.

I have managed to sinc my Nokia Lumia 1020 and factory car charger with my vehicle radio via Bluetooth and it works fine for phone calls. However, turn-by-turn audible directions do not function when Bluetooth sinc is enabled. Voice commands from the maps are totally silent in this mode. That said, turn-by-turn directions DO work when not connected to Bluetooth, but only then. I am guessing that it is a software issue having to do with the navigation application that I am using and that came standard on this phone, but I do not know that for sure.

The problem is that I cant use my phone as an internet modem via bluetooth with Microsoft bluetooth stack (everything else works). I tried the BlueSoleil 6.4.299.0 driver and it works fine but I do not want to pay extra 19.95 euros for the driver.
there such a device for Nokia phones? I would like a little remote (preferably something that can connect to my steering wheel) so that I can change tracks on my phone via bluetooth. is there such an animal? I tried to look around for a solution but couldn't find. i am aware on how to activate bluetooth/pairing/encryption etc. also couldn't find any option " like receive media via bluetooth " in oS 6.0 which i see others have suggested.
whenever he sends me a file its prompts me to recieve which i accept. then it indicator shows its receiving on the other hand my fd shows 100% transfer my BB automatically disconnects the connections. i dont find anywhere this file was received neither phone ask me to save anywhere.

In Anna I could find pictures in file management in order to move/copy them to memory stick, but that seems to be not possible in Belle. Also the phone guide tells you can select where to save the pictures by going to Settings - Application settings - camera - Photo or Video. Unfortunately in my N8 Belle there is no possibility to select any folder for saving the pictures. So I can not find the new pictures anywhere to remove them from the phone without using computer.

Sometime I carry with me a tape measure and I lay it along the lenght and/r height of the item just to get a rough measurement of the item's dimension.Is it possible for Nokia to develop a camera with a built-in measuring tape that shows up in the pictures taken? The measuring tape should be able to adjust to the distance between the camera and the object so that the actual dimension of the object is measured accurately. If I take a picture of crawling snake from 20 feet away the picture taken should be able to show the actual lenght of the snake.
