I can't tranfer my pictures from my phone. All my pictures are saved to my SD card. When connected to the computer I access the SD card, then the DCIM folder, but then it only shows a '.thumbnails' folder. When I open this folder it only shows 496 RAW files that I can't open. I have 1422 photos on my phone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've filled the memory in my phone up and need to transfer some pictures off of it so I can go through with this 1GB software update. I've been wanting to transfer a glut of files off of it for a while as I'm always having trouble downloading new apps.
Every time I plug it into my PC and go to the folder with the images, it will either (a) load the folder so I can see everything, and then crash as soon as I attempt to copy the files to my hard drive. Alternatively, (b), it won't load the pictures at all and the Computer > Galaxy S5 > Phone > DCIM bar will load green forever (I have a screen capture of this but can't include it here.. )
I need to get these files off my Galaxy and backed up.
My phone came with the head-phones and charger (plug in to wall/phone), but no USB cable. Can I just buy a USB cable (i.e. -Walgreens or Best Buy?) to use to get this accomplished?

I have a question about transfering pictures or any media to my computer from my nokia 5230 nuron. When I connect it to my computer with the usb tongle cord it gives me a few options. No matter what option I pick XP recognizes it and tries to install the driver for it but it can't find one and no cd was provided with the phone.Any ideas on how to get this to work?
