View 1 Repliesim coming from iphone and used to seeing the answer call and hang up button or answer call and hold. i dont see anything like that on this phone, seems like it just automatically places original call on hold. any way to automatically disconnect from that call and pick up the new one?
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust received a call on my Photon. The phone was in sleep state. It did not provide any options for answering the incoming call although the ringtone was loud and clear. It was as though the ringtone went off on its own.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 4S is 16gb Black on AT&T with ios 5.1. Sometimes when I receive an incoming call my screen locks up. I can't swipe to answer, pushing the home button does nothing, however when I push the lock button it will stop the phone from vibrating. After the incoming call exits unanswered the phone is fully functional. This happens about once or twice a week and works normally otherwise.

I have strange problem with my HTC Desire HD (A9191) I updated to Android 2.3.5 some time ago and since then I have a problem. If my phone is locked, I can't answer incoming call from some numbers.
When there is incoming call and I pull the green ring to the bigger ring to accept the call, the phone wants to turn off and asks me to 'force close'. Of course, I can't answer the call anymore.
When there is incoming call and I pull the red ring to the bigger ring to decline the call, the phone totally freezes while still ringing. It keeps ringing for around 10-15 minutes and does not react to anything.
The problem does not occur when the incoming call comes when phone is unlocked (i'm using it at the moment of the call coming).
Several times since I purchased my new Blackberry Torch I have been unable to answer an incoming call - not always, but intermittently. I can hear the phone ringing, but no matter what I do it will not answer and it will not stop ringing!! The only way to stop it is to pull the battery out - my husband has the same phone and this has happened to him also.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have only had the Turbo a few weeks. I have turned on a call answer vibration somehow. My wife's doesn't do it. I cant figure out what I turned on. Need turning the vibrate pulse off. Its when swiping to answer incoming calls only. I have vibrate turned off under settings.
View 1 Replies View Related1 or 2 out of 10 incoming calls, I am UNABLE to answer, the swiping right action just doesn't seem to work, the phone stops ringing but the screen keeps displaying the answer/ reject screen, like the one in the middle below:
I have even chosen to use the HOME button to answer incoming calls (the picture on the left above) but it doesn't work either... (I can't answer by swiping or hitting the home key).

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen my LG G3 phone rings I do not get any options to answer the call and if the phone screen is sleeping it does not waken up, I can make calls and receive call but just cannot answer them......
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince the latest software uppdating, I cannot answer incoming calls. The phone is ringing but no botton for answering shows up.
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen somebody calls me, the screen remains "black". I can`t see any answer option or who is calling.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've had a brand new Xperia Z3 less than a week and I can see when I am getting an incoming call. But, if I'm texting at the time, although I can see the call notification I can't respond to it and the buttons disappear from the bottom of the screen. The slide down options from the top of the screen also disappear. The phone just freezes and I have to restart the phone every time. I don't know if it's doing this with other apps, or whether it's just the messaging app.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm unable to answer any incoming calls because the display becomes unresponsive. If the screen is blank, it remains blank until the phone stops ringing. If the screen is active, it remains active but unresponsive for the duration of the ring. I'm still using Kit Kat 4.4.4.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Nexus 5 running Android Kit Kat 4.4.2. Overall this is a great phone but i am facing some issues that i will describe below:
1) This i noticed 2 months ago. I dont know if it still has it: I was calling a friend and he didnt answer. Then the whole day i was waiting for him to call back but he never did (at least according to my phone). When i called him again he told me that he called me back, the phone rang 3 times and then he got the message we get when someone rejects the call or the phone is out of battery. I never had a missing call to know that he called back. This is a very tricky error, since maybe you are missing incoming calls from your boss. To you it appears like you never received the call, but to your boss it seems like you are ignoring him. Not a good thing.
2) This is a problem i am getting for the last 2 months. When someone calls and the device is sleeping, i hear the ringing, i unlock the phone but what i get is the main page of the device. No incoming call notification, no dialer, nothing.Only the ringtone. If i press the phone app i get 3 choices:
a) use touch tone keypad
b)return to call in process
c)add call
Pressing "return to call in process" doesnt do a thing. To see who has called you, you must go to the missed calls after the ringing is over. Also if you dont restart the device, the problem stays there. The only solution is to restart the device. After restarting the device the problem goes away for 2-3 days and then it happens again.
I dont know if other Nexus 5 owners are experiencing the same problems, but since a smart phone is based on making and receiving calls, these 2 problems must be addressed by Google ASAP.
Also, i am not willing to factory reset my device, if i am not sure that this will 100% solve the problem.
PS1: My device is NOT rooted.
PS2: My brother's Nexus 4 started having the same problem (problem number 2) after updating to Kit Kat 4.4.2. But not in the same frequency as my Nexus 5.
WHEN A CALL COMES IN AND I TRY TO ANSWER I IMMEDIATELY LOSE THE CALL.
I have set the Home button to answer calls and I could lose them that way OR if while using the phone and I get the little window from an incoming call with ANSWER or REJECT and I hit ANSWER I can lose call that way also.
Upon Receiving an incoming call my phone rings & vibrates - but will not display any alert on the screen (or lock screen) that there is an incoming call. If I unlock the phone as it's ringing the normal home screen is displayed and after a ring or two I receive the below "Mobile Data not available" prompt. Pressing ok results in the phone going back to the homescreen with once again, no further dialog to answer/ignore/mute the call (nothing in the notification bar either). Eventually the call will make it to voicemail as i can't answer it, and i get a prompt missed call notification.
Items i've checked so far: disabled apps - re-enabled to make sure nothing got zapped that's interfering.Mobile data is enabled under settings.OTA Update was applied & Phone works fine otherwise, solid 4G service in populated area....Note the missed call notification icon is displayed from a previous call when i was trouble shooting:
I installed Full Screen Caller ID but wasn't happy with the functionality of it, so I uninstalled it. Then, the next time I got a call I no longer had the standard HTC Sense UI Slide to answer (down to answer, up to send to VM) but instead just had the Answer and Ignore buttons. how I can get the slide back? Or, if there's another app that gives you a slide to answer? All of the apps that I've found do the opposite, and give you buttons instead of a slide, but not what I'm looking for.
View 2 Replies View RelatedEver since my phone was updated to ICS, I've noticed that once in a while (it's probably happened 5 times now) I can not answer an incoming phone call. Usually it's while my phone is in the Droid 4 car dock, but it has also happened without it being connected to anything. What happens is my phone will ring either through the phone speakers and my bluetooth headset (if connected), but the phone "answer" screen will not pop up, and the phone doesn't respond to any type of input, which forces me to reboot my phone by holding down the power/volume down buttons. Once the phone boots back up, there is no record of who called me in the recent calls list, so hopefully they leave me a voicemail otherwise I have no idea who called me. After the first couple times this happened, I decided to perform a factory reset, hoping that this would fix the lag/freeze up issue, but it did not correct this problem. The only way that I can think of trying to minimize the occurrences of the phone freezing up/ running sluggishly would be to perform a reboot every couple days or so to clear up the memory.
View 3 Replies View RelatedCant call anybody and then friends try to call me they get my answer mashine.Reinstalled the software, but it didnt help.SMS is working fine.Have tryede my card in another phone, and then it worked fine.
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust about a week ago, my phone started to act up by not showing the option to answer or ignore incoming calls. I've tried restarting the phone and messing with setting but nothing.
View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is happening often. When I have an incoming call the call screen appears and phone rings. I go to answer by dragging the icon to the green answer icon and nothing happens. The phone continues to ring. Trying to drag to the red ignore call icon has the same result. Eventually the caller gets sent to voicemail, but the phone remains locked in this state and needs to be rebooted before it is operational again. I thought it was related to teh phone being in a lockscreen state, but it now appears to be random. I have contacted Google and they said they have not heard of this issue before. Essentially it is unusuable as a phone.
View 24 Replies View RelatedSo today has started yet another problem. Now when I go to answer my calls or make a call, it is automatically on speakerphone. I turned my phone off and it helped for a few calls and now the problem has returned. I have heard of USB ports going bad or something of that sort (not really familiar with it). Hopefully this is not what happened, yet then again maybe I could get a refurb not riddled with problems.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI had an 8 month old phone that was actingup , going to speaker phone with no buttons being pushed , couldnt answer incoming calls, couldnt see who was calling . View 11 Replies View RelatedWas just wondering if its possible to mute the incoming call ring without rejecting the call? I have seen that feature in some htc phones and tried on my phone but it didnt work.
My phone is running GB 2.3.4 Stock unrooted
I was facing the problem of contacts & call log after updating the 2.1(multitouch update). My call log doesn't record the incoming, outgoing and missed call. Sometimes it records and sometimes it doesn't.
