Jun 19, 2012Rather suddenly, plugging in my earbuds doesn't shut off external sound and enable the headphones. Thinking I'd screwed up a setting somewhere, I looked all over setup but cannot find anything to enable/disable. Is it me or my phone? Tried different players (I use winamp), different plugs. Did not reset the phone because I've spent considerable time loading and tweaking apps/settings/fonts etc and do not wish to lose all that.

May 16, 2010I have just moved from LG touch (hated it) to a very basic Nokia 2220. Previously had Samsung before.
With the 2220, when I receive a text I have set the tone I want however I cannot find if this phone will allow the tone to sound after every two minutes. All my previous phones have had this facility which I like as if you don't hear the notification sound at first it alerts you every two minutes.Is it just this phone or are all Nokia's like this?

My question is however: Can I keep sms enabled on both but just disable the message notification symbol and sound?I want to do this because my theme's homescreen shows my sms's and blocking them would make it look weird.

Mar 5, 2012I shut my Photon down and plug it in and it turns back on. I plug it in and power it down and it turns back on. I power down, remove the battery for 15 seconds, reinstall the battery and plug it in and it turns back on. No new software or apps that I'm aware of. It just started doing this today and we've had it for six months.

Jun 11, 2010My Motorola V188 will not charge via USB port. It works fine with AC adapter, but I'm going overseas, and my AC adapter is 110v only. The logical way to charge is through the mini-USB port, but the manual says it needs drivers for that.They have two download options for drivers to allow charging. Neither one of those will install -- they do not match the device.Why did they make this so difficult? Does anybody have ideas how to get this phone to charge via USB port?

Jul 26, 2010Sometimes randomly after unlocking my phone or turning it on, (specifically a couple seconds maybe 4, of looking at the Home screen) I hear a noise. I'm not sure if it vibrates or not I'll check next time. But it seems to be some sort of notification that happened. Now I have no apps running but I get this beep sound. I checked text messages, emails, push notifications, battery, coverage yet its not one of those. Maybe its WiFi. But for some reason I get this random beep of the phone trying to notify me of something but it never shows up on the screen. Sometimes after locking my phone (screen being black) it does the noise.

Aug 15, 2013When I plug in my phone once the battery has gotten low enough for the "low battery warning" message to pop up--it begins to flash on and off and beep endlessly. I can't hit ok or use my phone in any way, it just keeps flashing and beeping even if I have, say 15% battery, enough to accomplish some sort of task still. If I unplug the phone I it stops flashing and I could then use the phone normally, but as soon as I plug it back in it flashes the warning repeatedly until I turn off the screen and it then begins charging (what I assume is normally).
