I have a recently added playlist in my itunes, but it won't sync onto my phone. I really like listening to my recent music but I can't figure out how to get it on my iphone 4s.

Within the past week I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 5.1 and my iTunes to 10.6. When I synced the two with my usb cable, I lost my "Recently Added" and my "Recently Played" playlists on my iPhone. When I sync, I sync everything, not specific playlists. Both playlists remain in my playlist section of iTunes. To further troubleshoot the problem, I synced my old (but still loved) 80GB iPod Classic. The playlists remained on my iPod Classic. how to get my "Recently Added" playlist back on my iPhone?

In my iTunes window, the playlists for my iphone 4s when it is connected show correctly. The playlists include 'top 25 most played songs', 'recently played', and 'recently added'. Although they appear in iTunes even after syncing, they do not show on my iPhone and I can not use them (they aren't there). But they continue to show in the iTunes list for the device. This is frustrating because I often like to play my recently added list or top 25.

1. Once every 4 or 5 days, my 9700 always gets frozen. Does it happen because I never reboot it?
2. And, everytime I do reboot or battery pull, the recently added contact details are erased from my contact list. But, recent SMS, emails, or BBM conversation are not erased at all.
3. When I open the contact list, it only shows one contact name (it seems like all other contact names are erased). Then, when I type any alphabet key, the contact list appears. But, still the recently added contact details (mentioned on problem 2 above) are missing.
Is it because I never update my platform version? I'm currently using version 5.1.0.91 and the BBM is the 5.0.0.330 version.
I have just recently noticed as I download music on my Droid Bionic the files are building up and not "queing out" in the "Recently Added". How can I clear these files out after they have been assigned to a playlist?

Although with my shuffle all these songs will go on with no problem. Do I need to restore my phone? I've had my Droid X since Dec 2010. No problems with the calendar on the phone synching with the microsoft outlook calendar thru exchange UNTIL Gingerbread. Now all the new calendar items I add to the Droid X will not synch to the Corporate Calendar in Microsoft. However, when I add anything new to the Corporate Outlook calendar it immediately shows up on the X; it just won't synch the other way. (email and contacts sync both ways just fine).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm thinking about getting an iPhone or iPod touch and want to listen to podcasts. With my current MP3 player/software combination I have a problem dealing with podcasts. So I'm wondering if iTunes+iPod/iPhone can do what I want. This is what I'm looking for:
I want to be able to have a playlist containing all podcasts that I haven't listened to. When a new podcast comes out I want to be able to sync with iTunes and have the new podcast get appended to the playlist. Preferably I should not have to choose which podcasts to append. All new podcasts should just be automatically appended. I don't want to have to make a new playlist everytime I download a new podcast and I don't want to lose my place in the playlist. I just want to sync the podcast and have it show up in my podcast playlist. Once I've listened to a podcast I want it to be deleted and taken off of the playlist. Thus the playlist should just act like a queue where podcasts that have been listened to get deleted and new podcasts get appended. I know that iTunes/iPod has some functionality in dealing with podcasts, but can it do all of this? If not, do you know of any device/software combination that can perhaps non-iPod or software for the iPod touch, something like that? If there's an application which can do this without syncing to iTunes, that would be work too.
Here is what I would like to do and did in the past with Media player and my HTC Touch Pro 2 - I created an auto playlist that selects songs that have NOT been listened to, a playcount less than one. (it doesn't show up in the desktop manager for media sync) I would like to be able to listen to stuff (causing a play count of one on the phone), and then when I re-connect to the computer have media player remove what has a play count of more than zero. This had some success with my HTC Touch Pro 2. It appears to NOT work on my 8530, it looks like NOTHING gets removed from the phone and there is no "auto" about it. The memory card is full, I listened to songs, re-connected to the computer and it appears that media player sees that the card is full and does nothing.I have had my 8530 1 DAY and have gotten many answers here from previous threads.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I start the Media Sync program on my XP machine I immediately get a pop up that says the program has encountered an error and needs to close. It is the most recent version. This problem seems to not to be affected by whether or not Media Sync is started alone or through the Desktop manager.
However, the program opens, and acts like it is running anyway. (Just ignore the pop up.) A week ago, it was seeing my iTunes library and I could use it to put music from a playlist onto my Tour. Now, however, it does not see the iTunes library/playlist. It says it my library contains no songs. Sometimes, multiple attempts to start it it, it will see them, but then I cannot click the boxes that allow me to choose the playlist to sync them to the BB.
We have recently purchased the new I-pad, we have tried to sync our 2, 3gs phones w/ I-pad. Some Music shows up transparent in I-tunes and won't access. What must be done to access music?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently took about 5 photos on my iphone 4S (with the newest IOS 5.1 update which I did about a week ago) via the quick photo button. Those photos have disappeared from my camera roll.
When I connected my iphone to my computer, the photos were not there to download either.
The most recent photo that I took, is in the preview button when I click on my camera from either the button or the quick button screen. However when I click on that photo on the left, it instead shows photos I took a week or so ago, not the 5 photos I took tonight.
I've tried rebooting the phone, and deleting some of my pictures and video to my camera to no avail. I have also just turned on photo stream, and nothing is in it. I did text one of the photos prior to them disappearing, so I still have it in the message that I sent. However, I do not understand where those others went. I tried to text the photos again, and I cannot get to them from that angle either.
None of the photos I've taken before tonight have disappeared. Just the ones I took tonight, and I took them via the quick camera button on the home screen.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy iphone recently lost sound on all the apps. The ringer works however. When I try and press the vloume button on the side all I see is the ringer logo. I dont see the level indicator. When I mute the sound and then unmute the sound i briefly see the level indicator. I can only change and hear sounds when I change ringer sounds. Video playbabck also has no sound. Apps installed also have no more sound.
