Apr 28, 2012My IPhone 3G doesn't connect to Itunes. I have the most recent version of Itunes on Windows Vista. My Phone only registers on my computer as a camera. So I follow the troubleshooting steps on this page (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538) and I realize that my issue is that my Apple Mobile Device Driver does not appear in device managers. I follow all of the steps to install it, but when I try and install the "usbaapl.inf" from the folder " C:Program FilesCommon FilesAppleMobile Device SupportDrivers." I get a message saying: "The folder you specificied doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for 32 bit systems"

Apr 2, 2012iTunes recently stoped recognizing my iPhone 3G as a phone -- thinks it's a camera. It won't sync anymore with Outlook, even though it goes through the screens. Nothing changes in Contacts or Calendar. iTunes lists the phone as an iPhone, but when I plug the phone into the computer using USB, the computer says it's a camera and asks what software it should use. iTunes isn't a choice. I ran the diagnostics program in iTunes, and it reports no sync problems. This all started right after installing the latest iTunes update. Is anyody having the same or similar problem? How do you solve it?

Its been syncing fine with my XP pc and itunes is fine up to last night, my son had his iphone and connected it to my profile but it didnt sync as you would expect, however now the problem is no apple product will connect correctly to the pc on any profile?We have 2 i phone 4s and 2 ipods 4th gen they all now connect as image devices and itunes doesn't recognise them I think its something to do with the PC seeing the iphone / ipod but im not sure, I have reinstalled itunes and everything else is up to date. but I'm baffled now?

Apr 8, 2012Hey, gang! I'm confused about the "Sync Photos from iPhoto" option in iTunes. I clearly do not want to transfer *all* photos (years of accumulated digicam pictures), yet when I choose "Selected albums", iTunes gives me the following warning: "This iPhone contains photos synced with another photo library or folder. Photos and albums on "Name of iPhone" will be replaced with photos and albums from this computer. Photos taken with "Name of iPhone" will not be affected.
Well, this is bizarre--what other library or folder could my phone have been synched with? Plus, no matter what I was using, I certainly don't want to lose those photos on the iPhone!
Of course, what I really want to know is: "How do I use iTunes to automatically transfer the photos I've taken with the iPhone to my MacBook Pro?"
I know how to transfer photos using iPhoto, but that's laborious and I really want to transfer/back up my photos as part of my iTunes ritual.

They asked if I wanted my receipt emailed to me, which I said yes, and gave them the email address that's registered with Apple. Ever since then, I receive emails from Apple in Chinese and now when I look at the App Store or iTunes on my iPhone 4S or iPad 4, all menus are in Chinese. I encountered a problem when wanting to use/upgrade some apps that it asked for the password for her apple ID and password rather than mine, which i remidied by just deleting and reinastalling the various apps. iMessage was always turned on on the is phone, but it was acting up so I turned it off and when turning it back on again it asks for her Apple ID and password, not mine.
