Wouldn't it be something nice if you can turn your device on Without having it in your hand? You could turn it on from your computer, or if you have a iPod turn your phone, laptop and desktop on with it. Or what if you lost it, and someone picks it up and turns it off (iPod or iPhone) and the only way iCloud could find it is if its connected to the internet but it's not on.Maybe i have a bad idea, but i thought about it after losing my iPhone but not my iPod. i Would rather lose an iPod

(Dock not charging anymore) I brought it to an Apple Store (closer to my place), they were happy to replace it on the spot, except that there was none in stock. So I was advised to go to an other Store (the original one), where they had stock. So far, so good for service. I went to the other store, but there I was told that they could not replace it because I had bought it more than 14 days before, so I had to contact the manufacturer directly! So my questions are:
- What is, if any, the actual policy on non-Apple product repair & replacement?
- Why don't all store follow the same policy?
- Should I just try my luck again with another person, until I strike gold and get it replaced?

I'm based in the U.K. and I'm registered with Apple as being in the UK, but I recently visited China & bought an official Apple accessory from the official Apple Store. They asked if I wanted my receipt emailed to me, which I said yes, and gave them the email address that's registered with Apple. Ever since then, I receive emails from Apple in Chinese and now when I look at the App Store or iTunes on my iPhone 4S or iPad 4, all menus are in Chinese. So I follow the troubleshooting steps on this page (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538) and I realize that my issue is that my Apple Mobile Device Driver does not appear in device managers. I follow all of the steps to install it, but when I try and install the "usbaapl.inf" from the folder " C:Program FilesCommon FilesAppleMobile Device SupportDrivers." I get a message saying: "The folder you specificied doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for 32 bit systems"

I inherited my IPhone from my girlfriend after she upgraded. I've managed to change it to be linked to my apple ID rather than hers. I encountered a problem when wanting to use/upgrade some apps that it asked for the password for her apple ID and password rather than mine, which i remidied by just deleting and reinastalling the various apps. iMessage was always turned on on the is phone, but it was acting up so I turned it off and when turning it back on again it asks for her Apple ID and password, not mine. Is there anyway to change the account?

I had Nokia comes with music on a N95 last year and all was going well until my contract was up and I changed my phone for a 5800 CWM edition. I followed the instructions on how to activate my new phone and the Nokia music store said that the phone was already registered. I have contacted Nokia who suggested creating a new account (which didn't work). i am currently waiting on Nokia to get back to me but this is a very slow process.
