I have recently bought a new iphone 4 and after a month or so of use, it began to drop calls or my voice wasn't heard by the person on the other end. I could hear them perfectly fine, but my voice was either very faint or not able to be heard.
I have restored my phone to factory settings, but doing this did not solve the problem. I live overseas and my provider is Vodaphone. It isn't a signal/carrier problem. Is this something that can be fixed by being serviced, or will I probably have to get a new phone all together? It's really frustrating, as I bought a factory unlocked phone to use in Turkey.
I am using iPhone 4S with iOS 7.1.2. During a Facetime video call, my voice is not heard by the other person properly. However, during a Facetime audio call or Skype call with microphone, everything is fine. I am also able to record sound without any problems.
When using the telephone function of my XPRT, my voice sometimes cannot be heard by the person I am speaking to. This happens after I have connected to the other caller and after at least 10 - 30 seconds of conversation. It happens when I have a strong signal (5 - 6 bars) and even when I am stationary. Ultimately, the other caller can usually hear me again.
When I call others it happens once in every 3-5 calls that others can not hear my voice. It sometimes happens that the voice mutes in the middle of a call.. Sometimes I hear an echo of my own voice. It has kept happening since a month ago while before then I hardly had any problem using the phone. I eagerly wish to get it solved since I surely believe this is a software problem or perhaps a bug.
Use my wife's Z2 for a while and wanting to buy but fortunately didn't because the phone been having call quality issue as in the other party can't hear clearly, sound muffled or voice breaking up. Send the phone for repair 3 times! Sony service center even change mother board and casing but voice quality is ok sometimes but break up most of the time. My sister's Z2 though she say got not issue but at times voice sound distance too.
A few days ago, out of the blue, I lost the ability to be able to hear or be heard when on a call on my iPhone 4. On a call, no matter which output I use, earpiece, earphones or speaker, I cannot hear the person on the other end speaking, and they cannot hear me talking. My phone will ring if someone is calling, and if I call someone their phone will connect, but from there I am completely muted/in silence. I do not believe this is a hardware related issue as I have tested both the microphone and speaker/s by making a Skype call to a friend which worked absolutely fine. I can also play music from my phone successfully through all of the iPhone outputs mentioned above. This is a super frustrating issue as I haven't dropped the phone or damaged any of the hardware. The only one software related thing I notice that is out of the ordinary is that when I do make a call, the 'speaker' icon is selected by default. Obviously I have attempted to deselect it, but have had no success in this making any difference.
I recently updated my 5s to iOS 7.1.1. Now when I make a phone call I cannot hear a ring. The other person does answer so the call is going through, but I cannot hear the ring in my earpiece.
I have a new problem after 7.1.2, when I get a phone call, I cannot hear or be heard on the phone, but if I put it on speaker... it's fine. So what's up?
Whenever I put the phone on a surface (when the unit is in horizontal position and not on hand), I hear a rattling sound. Also when I shake it, I hear a rattling sound near the camera. What could it be? Should I take it on the store? Or is it just normal?
Several of my 9930 users are complaining of suddenly not being able to hear any thing and the person they are calling can't hear them. Only fix is to pull the battery and replace. Are there any 7.0 bugs known that could be causing this?
my phone's working fine yesterday. today i cant hear answered calls and dialled numbers on the "earpiece". but there are tones when my number is dialled.
When i make a call or receive a call i am not being heard by the other person on the phone.I just recently went and got my phone replaced and now i can't communicate with anyone because of this issue. Any words of wisdom? i'm wondering if it is just the phone or something happened with my speaker.
Since I performed the last software update a couple of days ago I can only hear calls through the speaker or through the plugged in headset. I've tried resetting but the problem persists.
I have a brand new Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, when I make/receive calls, the person at the other end has an echo from my phone. THIS is not the case using a bluetooth device to make the calls with. What to do ?
Infomation about the phone : Modelnumber : E5823 Android version : 5.1.1 Kernelsystem : 3.10.49-perf-g83fc9bc Versionnumber : 32.0.A.6.152
Occasionally, when I plug in the supplied headphones which are marked as model number "WH-101 HS-105", there is no audio heard coming through them. When I plug them in, they are detected and a message says use phone mic for calls. However, there is no audio heard coming from the music player app. If I unplug the headphones the music player audio comes out loud and clear from the loudspeaker. The only solution is to reset the phone, the headphones then work correctly and I can listen to music through them. This makes me think it is a software / firmware problem rather than a hardware problem.I sent my phone and the headphones back to my operator O2 UK and waited 4 weeks for my phone to return. They eventualy returned my phone with a note saying a new circuit board had been fitted and the phone would have a new IMEI number. The fault returned the first time I plugged in my headphones!I have looked for info on this fault on the web, but have not found anybody else with this issue to date.
I've recently bought a Defy+. Now that can hear a flickering noise when I turn on the camera. I tried tweaking the settings and everything but the problem is still there.
When making or receiving a call I cannot be heard although I can hear the other person. Is this a problem that is fixable or a sign that it's time for a new phone?
I have noticed when I talk to people, I hear a random 'touch tone' like sound very intermittently. This happens if I make or receive a call and is not just when I talk to other Verizon customers. My home phone used to do this (VoIP) at times. Same sound but now its on the Razr.I never heard this calling the same people when I was on Sprint.
I downloaded and installed on my original iPhone a 3rd party application. I now have an iPhone 4S, and wish to transfer that application and all it's data to my new phone.
I can't open every applications except all the built-in appplcations (Calendar, Clock etc.), in other words, all third-party applications are crashed when I open them.
I use two accounts (A & B) to download apps, after I change my current account A to another one B, the applications which belongs to B are working, and I try to download a new app it's working too.
When I change account B back to A, B's apps are still working, however all A's applications still crashed. But I downloaded a new app using account A, it's working...
So what can I do about all my existing account A's applications?
I updated my 3g from 3.0 to 3.1.2 and none of my 3rd party apps will open. Ive tried restoring and redownloading the apps and they still crash. I can use my cracked apps but not my apple apps. Does anyone know how to fix this.
I have a 3g and I am JB with rock. Last night my phone would no longer launch any app store apps. All the apps when started immediately crash. All native apps as well as all JB apps work fine. I didnt install any new apps. I did update Rock but I cant remember if it was doing that before or after the Rock update. Any one know how to fix this without a restore. I sync my phone at work and a full restore is a PITA!
