There is an annoying beep sound during calls and the volume control is automatically at the maximum. When I try to bring down the volume using the volume control switch on the side, the volume bar slides all the way to the very lowest and not in steps.I tried googling but I could not find anything. Can someone please suggest what to do?

A few days ago, out of the blue, I lost the ability to be able to hear or be heard when on a call on my iPhone 4. On a call, no matter which output I use, earpiece, earphones or speaker, I cannot hear the person on the other end speaking, and they cannot hear me talking. My phone will ring if someone is calling, and if I call someone their phone will connect, but from there I am completely muted/in silence. I do not believe this is a hardware related issue as I have tested both the microphone and speaker/s by making a Skype call to a friend which worked absolutely fine. I can also play music from my phone successfully through all of the iPhone outputs mentioned above. This is a super frustrating issue as I haven't dropped the phone or damaged any of the hardware. The only one software related thing I notice that is out of the ordinary is that when I do make a call, the 'speaker' icon is selected by default. Obviously I have attempted to deselect it, but have had no success in this making any difference.

I've recently bought a Defy+. Now that can hear a flickering noise when I turn on the camera. I tried tweaking the settings and everything but the problem is still there.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have noticed when I talk to people, I hear a random 'touch tone' like sound very intermittently. This happens if I make or receive a call and is not just when I talk to other Verizon customers. My home phone used to do this (VoIP) at times. Same sound but now its on the Razr.I never heard this calling the same people when I was on Sprint.

The only thing that's not working right now is the led light. The light won't go off. Is there something i can do?

I have a friend that just bought this BlackBerry Bold 9700 and the call waiting beep volume is so low he is missing his calls. He called blackberry, his provider and is getting nowhere they keep telling him to return the device for a new one and he did once but of course didn't fix this problem. They came out with a new download that was suppose to fix this problem but guess what it didn't.Blackberry doesn't seem to care about this problem but you bet if it was their buisness calls they was missing they'd fix it faster.Anyone no of any new News on this? View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia N8, and since a few months back it cannot find any 3G-signal. (it worked okay in may-june)when I try the SIM-card in my other phone (Nokia E52) it finds the 3G-signal directly without any problem. The settings is of course set to 3G, but I only get a 3g-symbol which is cross-out and no signal bar at the side. I have also tried dual mode but then it only finds the GSM-signal.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC One Dual Sim and while the phone is great, have had stellar battery as an added bonus, there is this very annoying static "pop" or "blip" whilst speaking on the phone. It is not regular, but very frequent. More often than not, a word or part of a sentence gets eaten up. Almost like the notification light can be heard as it flashed, but I checked this and there were no messages, mails, IM's or anything coming into or out of the phone.
I changed the phone thinking there may be an anomaly, but the 2nd one does the same thing as well..
Does this phone have the option to turn off in-call notifications, I can't find the setting.
The beep sound after clicking the end call is driving me crazy when I use the speaker.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am not receiving an audio notification of an incoming message when I am on a call. I typically end a call to find important txt and email messages waiting for me in the notification bar. This is a feature that I have had on every non-android phone. View 1 Replies View RelatedIve had my N8 for afew days and since having it ive not been able to make or recieve calls due to the fact that when i touch the phone the signal drops right out!
View 19 Replies View RelatedI've been experiencing this strange problem for few weeks with my N8. When I'm receiving or making a call, network signal level drops from full to 2 bars. Happens only when i hold my phone from its lower end(where menu button is located). As long as i hold phone from its upper end(where audio jack is located), signal level is maintained to full bars. Such fluctuations don't occur when phone is lying still somewhERE. Signal starts dropping only when phone is held by its lower end. Happens while accessing 3G too. Is this a normal thing? I checked after changing SIM and switching to another network provider. Still the same.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThere was me thinking only the Iphone 4 had this issue! It drops from say 4 bars to about 1. Holding the top end seems OK. It is holding the phone "normally" or holding the bottom end which almost kills the signal.
