I cannot restart my Iphone 4G when I tried to updated to IOS 5.1.1 and message apaered that the updated failed .All i get now is a picture on the iPhone to connect to Itunes but that result only in a connecting sound but the iPhone doesn't show up in iTunes. I use the latest version of iTunes 10.6.1

Whenever the icon is activated, it goes into the office main menu for just 2 seconds, then it's out to the phone's main menu again. Today when I went to use it, it told me an update was available, so I choose to accept the update. When it asked if I wanted to reboot/restart the phone now or later, I selected now. The phone proceeded to update the software and now I can't use my phone at all.
I tried connecting my phone to my computer so I could restore it, but desktop manager says it can't communicate with my phone. And when I plug in the power cord, my phone doesn't even register that it's charging up. So, since so much of my life is connected to my phone, and I can't use my phone at all, I'm squirming. Of course, AT&T online tech support is closed Sundays; I guess nobody else has a phone emergency on Sundays. All I get is a white screen that tells me to reload software.

I have had my Bold 9000 for about two months. I bought it unlocked and have been using it with T-mobile. When I first got it, i upgraded it to the latest leaked os 5.0. The thing is, I had problems with it. First it would just randomly crash and restart and crash and restart, continuously tell it just drained the battery out. Sometimes, on restarts, the standard Blackberry ringtones would not work, and sometimes they would. Sometimes when it would restart after crashing it would say, "net_app_something_ (52) isnt working and was canceled". I assumed it was a bad leak and tried several different version. (and this same occurred with each OS. I would install it on my pc, on my buddy's who has an unlocked Bold 9000 on t-mobile just like me. In the end I gave up and went back to 4.6. Yesterday i tried the new, official OS 5.0.It worked at first, but then when I install the newest BBM, it started crashing again, until the battery was gone. So now I have reinstalled it, kept the standard BBM that comes with the OS. and also deleted Quickpull. thinking it might have to do with it as well. On a last weird note. It seems only to crash in the evening. In the morning it is perfectly fine, however once it passes 4pm , the crashing beings, non if this occurs with 4.6.
Any ideas? My friend and I are both lost. Sorry for the wordy post, but it is really difficult to describe the retardedness of this situation.
I have many troubles with updating my n97 (Product code 0576503) from v21 to v22.i have try Ovi Suite v2.2.0.241 but after preparing to install i got message ( installation failed - the connection to device was lost.....)
and in NSU v2.5.2 i got (no software available for your device - Please not that your mobile service provider, operator or carrier may not have approved the latest nokia device firmware available........)And on FOTA after downloading and restarting i got (This update is not compatible with your device)
Do not upgrade to IOS5 if you want your peripheral devices to work. I did it thinking it would improve my customer experience and can now no longer use my USB to connect to my car Bose system or any other device. It is clearly about the yupgrade to IOS5 as any 4S phone that I try that has not been upgraded works fine. Apple TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY for the problems and have suggested I resolve it thought Bose and Ford and every other third party supplier. BE WARNED YOU CAN NOT ROLL BACK TO THE PREVIOUS OPERATING SYSTEM once you have upgraded even if you factory reset. I not have $25,000 worth of peripheral devices that will not work and no support form apple what so ever.

I bought my iphone 4 over a year ago from EBay. It's locked to 02 network I have never had any problems with it & it works fine but I have never been able to update it to any latest versions. It's just stuck on 4.1 and each time I try to update it on iTunes it does something for ages and then a message comes up saying your device could not be updated.

I was trying to update my X10 for pinch zoom It says certification error and the updates getting disconnect. I checked my system firewall and my modem firewall too everything is perfect. And I tried with my friend's machine there too I am getting same error.
I contacted Sony Ericsson customer care regarding this, they replied go and update ur phone in service center. Too bad they didnt tell me why I was not able to update my phone.
The Sony PC Companion has started showing that an update is available for my xperia pro as soon as i connect it. I happily selected the update option and on the first attempt it downloaded the update which took more than 10 mins in my case. Then it reboots the phone in the flash mode i believe and when it's time to install the update, simply comes out with an error that no update is available for your phone.
