I've just updated my E71 software today and thereafter the quickoffice is unable to restart. Whenever the icon is activated, it goes into the office main menu for just 2 seconds, then it's out to the phone's main menu again. I did not have this problem previously when I updated the phone software. Anybody out there able to help?
View 4 RepliesI'm unable to upgrade to the latest version of Quickoffice. I've tried both options offered in the application - download and e-mail, but neither work. When I try to download, the application stops responding and when I use the e-mail option, the application reports that the process was successfully completed, but I don't receive an e-mail. My phone can access Internet normally.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Motorola Photon MB855. It came with QuickOffice pre-installed. To my surprise, it was just a "Viewer" version of the software. I purchased the QuickOffice Pro version. As many have found, now I have two versions of QuickOffice. I just one the one I paid, which is the full version of the software. I want to uninstall the Free (Viewer) version. I have been reading that there is no way to do this unless I root the phone. I do not want to root the phone, all I want is for Motorola to allow me to uninstall the free version, since I bought the full version (is it not the idea to have us purchase the full version of these pre-install software?) and want the space of Demo/Free/Viewer versions to be uninstalled so I can have that space avaialable for other Apps I would like to install!

Both were working before the reset and I did a full Nokia Suite backup and restore after the reset. I tried reinstalling Belle from the nokia suite, all went well, but QO & Adobe are still missing. I tried deleting the downloaded installation files from c:usersall users directory, re-downloading the nokia belle update (~350mb) and re-reinstalling the OS, but still QO and Adobe are missing. I tried *#7370#, "delete and restore" etc, but to no avail. I tried changing OSes - WinXP, Win7, Win7 64bit etc, but still no avail.

It's a very stupid problem, while you are using your mobile suddenly it shows some blue & red lines then it shutdown and start again. And it happens randomly. And every day it happens many times. I tried to format the mobile (soft & Hard) and reinstall the F/W. But chanchan05 advised to check the mass memory. I did it. And it's working fine with me till now. And till now my mobile did not restarted itself for three days. WOW

Today when after sync of my mailbox , I was trying to read few emails. It was taking long time to open the email and later I it was hanging. I had to restart the phone and to my surprise the mailbox disappeared. I tried restarting the phone several times, but my mailbox is gone. I also moved all emails from my server INbox from my laptop email client to local folders. But still the mailbox on phone is not coming up.I do not want to do hard reset of the phone and I want to know if its okay to set up a new mailbox on the phone. WIll it cause any issues ?
