Nokia Applications :: Adobe & Quickoffice Lost After Hard Reset?
Jan 8, 2012
I've checked updates with NSU & installed the Anna 2/2 but that only gave me Microsoft Communicator. After the hard reset I restored all my files etc but that made no difference. How do I get Quickoffice & Adobe back?
How can I download again :Quickoffice and Adobe Reader.I can see them on my history of downloads on Nokia Store. If I ask to receive an SMS with a link to dowload. I receive the SMS but, when opening the link, I'm aked to pay again The "assistance" page is no longer working (just opening Map page).
I recently had to do a "full factory reset" on my Nokia 700 but since then I seem to have lost both the Adobe Reader and QuickOffice. Both were working before the reset and I did a full Nokia Suite backup and restore after the reset. In an attempt to restore the two missing functions I've re-installed the software and searched the store, all to no avail.
I resetted my E7 yesterday, and noticed that Quickoffice and Adobe readers disappeared! I tried reinstalling Belle from the nokia suite, all went well, but QO & Adobe are still missing. I tried deleting the downloaded installation files from c:usersall users directory, re-downloading the nokia belle update (~350mb) and re-reinstalling the OS, but still QO and Adobe are missing. I tried *#7370#, "delete and restore" etc, but to no avail. I tried changing OSes - WinXP, Win7, Win7 64bit etc, but still no avail.
I have purchased an N8, last week. After an HARD RESET, i have lost OVI STORE application.I have tried to do re-install it from browser but it's not possible: I get an error during installation!I also tried to reinstall firmware trough NSU but I don't resolve it.
I performed a hard reset. Some applications have disappeared from the phone. They are Microsoft Office Mobile, Adobe Reader, PhotoEditor and more. Some were on the phone after purchase. It is somewhere in these applications can be downloaded?
I lost all nokia N8 widgets including Music store after I hard reset my N8. I have really been searching but have been unable to find a work around for this. I am unable to play any OVI music on my phone as it searched for a license and ends up saying that this is not my registered device.

I lost my all nokia default apps like ovi store/ovi music and many more after three key hard reset, is there any way to restore my all aps which I was having previously, even I have reinstalled my phone software twice using nokia suit but still doesnt worked. How to get back all apps?
after upgrading to Belle, I also upgraded to quickoffice premium so that I could spell check documents. Now I can't open word documents. I can create new ones and then can't open these either. Is it Bell or the quickoffice upgrade?
So i have noticed with all the issues with 5.1.1 that when you hard reset by holding down the top button and the home button, the phone while restart with the apple logo and reboot. However, it will not kill/close the applications in the open programs tray. Am I the only one experiencing this? Can anyone else reproduce or confirm that hard reset used to kill the programs in other versions?
I have a Nokia N8 with Symbian Anna. I purchased QuickOffice Pro from Ovi Store and it downloads but then fails to install. The trial version from the QuickOffice site also fails to install. Before I purchased QuickOffice I deleted the version of QuickOffice that came with Symbian Anna. Now I am left with no QuickOffice even though I have paid for it.Can someone suggest what I should do so I can install the QuickOffice Pro that I have paid for.
Blackberry 9700 running 5.0.0.400 (Platform 5.1.0.110)SMSes cannot be opened and after hard reset disappeared ! Only left 1 or 2 SMS which were okay all along.
Good evening everybody. For several days I had noticed that my BB ( 9550 Storm 2, Verizon Wireless, about one year old, v 5.0.0.713[Bundle 1206, Platform 4.2.0.323) would consume the batterly life much faster ( in less than 12 hours, I would have to charge it again), I went to the store and gave me some tips about how to conserve energy and such and did not think I needed a new battery. Finally on Thursday it would go into a loop of freezing and resetting and then freezing again , and resetting, for hours. I had synchronized the device the night before. So ,I decided to go for a hard reset. NOw, in spite of the sync'ing, I don't have my contacts in the device and, what is worse, I don't know where to look for them in my laptop.
I have a bunch of books in my kindle library and had downloaded a subset of them to my iphone in the kindle app.Â
I was having issues with the iphone, and I ended up doing a backup/hard-reset/restore. Everything came back fine except my downloaded kindle books. Actually, when I first opened the kindle app, I saw the previously downloaded books listed in the "device" tab, but they soon disappeared.Â
Where does the kindle app store this info on my phone and why wasn't it saved/restored to/from the backup?Â
I can download those books again from the cloud, so nothing lost, but it is an annoyance - especially if one likes to have lots of books handy.Â
i bought adobe reader LE 2.5 from Nokia store for 5800 express music even the money had been deducted from my balance in phone but i am not able to download.
I just reset my N8, and when trying to reinstall all applications through nokia store some of them now cost, and when i download them were free, is there any way to recover, those were themes, i made a backup of the internal memory and c drive, the other missing application is the game galaxy on fire, i cant download it from nokia store because it is not available for my phone (N8 Belle) how can i recover those applications?

Lost licence for Quickoffice after Anna update? v6.04 (460)Did the Anna 1/2 update as well but when starting quickoffice, error message reads - No application licence, no licence for feature. Purchase licence or continue. Unable to reinstall Quickoffice as well, install fails. V7 Quickoffice Pro Trial won't install either.
I have a Motorola Photon MB855. It came with QuickOffice pre-installed. To my surprise, it was just a "Viewer" version of the software. I purchased the QuickOffice Pro version. As many have found, now I have two versions of QuickOffice. I just one the one I paid, which is the full version of the software. I want to uninstall the Free (Viewer) version. I have been reading that there is no way to do this unless I root the phone. I do not want to root the phone, all I want is for Motorola to allow me to uninstall the free version, since I bought the full version (is it not the idea to have us purchase the full version of these pre-install software?) and want the space of Demo/Free/Viewer versions to be uninstalled so I can have that space avaialable for other Apps I would like to install!
