Apr 1, 2012Do not upgrade to IOS5 if you want your peripheral devices to work. I did it thinking it would improve my customer experience and can now no longer use my USB to connect to my car Bose system or any other device. It is clearly about the yupgrade to IOS5 as any 4S phone that I try that has not been upgraded works fine. Apple TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY for the problems and have suggested I resolve it thought Bose and Ford and every other third party supplier. BE WARNED YOU CAN NOT ROLL BACK TO THE PREVIOUS OPERATING SYSTEM once you have upgraded even if you factory reset. I not have $25,000 worth of peripheral devices that will not work and no support form apple what so ever.

It's locked to 02 network I have never had any problems with it & it works fine but I have never been able to update it to any latest versions. It's just stuck on 4.1 and each time I try to update it on iTunes it does something for ages and then a message comes up saying your device could not be updated.

May 31, 2012The Sony PC Companion has started showing that an update is available for my xperia pro as soon as i connect it. I happily selected the update option and on the first attempt it downloaded the update which took more than 10 mins in my case. Then it reboots the phone in the flash mode i believe and when it's time to install the update, simply comes out with an error that no update is available for your phone.
