I have 2 ringtones on my phone which I purchased. Can I transfer those to my husband's phone as we are on a shared plan or do I have to purchase new ones for his if he wants the ringtones?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a few ringtones for my iPhone and as i tryed to drag them into the Ringtone folder, it wouldnt go.I started reserching and I read all about the .mr4 thing so I know that thing is its impossible to drag the file onto my desktop... Why does Apple have to make things so difficult.. Why issnt it possible to do the most logic thing, simply drag the file into the ringtone folder?i have had iPhones for years now, and everytime i want to do something that is so simple to do on anyother phone int he universe, it feels like getting a razor wire enima when i have to do it on apple productes. and its suppose to be so simple and everything, but a ringtone i have to drag out to my desktop and delete it from my itunes then rename the file format and add it back in?.in what world is that easy?.. on top of that, i cant even do it.

I've tried Samsung PC Studio 7 with no luck - it will not recognize my phone. Have changed USB phone settings to Modem as I read in a thread somewhere, still no luck.
I don't have texting, don't use internet on the phone, so I can't email them to the phone.
I was able to transfer mp3's via. the USB cable & sync with Windows Media player, that works great, but I can't get them to set as a ringtone...
Is the only "free" way to put ringtones on this phone is to use a SD card? If so, how is that accomplished?
Having bought and downloaded several albums via the Google Play app I thought they would appear in my music folder but sadly they didnt and I can only access them via the app. Is there a way of transferring them to my music folder so I can in turn use them as a ringtone? If not is there anywhere I can download music from that saves it in the music folder? I asked a guy in Carphone Warehouse and he showed me a site that turned out to be an illegal download site which I would rather not use.

A year ago I bought a iPhone 4 from Apple direct as I had a Sony Orange monthly contrct phone that broke and Orange would not replace the phone for me. So I made my normal SIM into a micro SIM and have used my Orange SIM in my iPhone for a year. My contract with orange is now at the end of its term and I have bought a Iphone SIM only Tesco 12 month contract deal.
The SIM arrived but when I put it in it states that there is "No Service" - now this has confused me as I thought if I bought the phone direct from Apple it would be unlocked - I can not call Orange and get an unlock code as the phone they have registered for me to use is a Sony phone?
I have tried doing a factory restore with my phone and logging onto itunes but Tesco (o2) is not listed as a provider?
How do I unlock it?
I need to get it unlocked at a shop but don't they just hack into it or I need to Jailbreak it but again I thought if I do this I will have problems with updates etc with the phone?
If I buy an iPhone in Taiwan, will I be able to use it in Canada? Do I just buy a SIM card?

So, yesterday morning I got up early and decided I might as well place an online order for the iPhone through ATT.com instead of waiting around and hoping to pick it up in a store. However, my friend told me yesterday afternoon that the local ATT store had some still in stock, so I went over and managed to get one. Yet, I never canceled my online order for the iPhone, and as of this morning it still is listed as processing.
So, will that order eventually be automatically canceled before it ships since I already got an iphone at a discounted rate at the store, or will I get sent another iPhone?Also, could they send me the second iPhone and then charge me the non-discounted rate?
