IPhone :: Bought In Store But Never Canceled Online Order

So, yesterday morning I got up early and decided I might as well place an online order for the iPhone through ATT.com instead of waiting around and hoping to pick it up in a store. However, my friend told me yesterday afternoon that the local ATT store had some still in stock, so I went over and managed to get one. Yet, I never canceled my online order for the iPhone, and as of this morning it still is listed as processing.
So, will that order eventually be automatically canceled before it ships since I already got an iphone at a discounted rate at the store, or will I get sent another iPhone?Also, could they send me the second iPhone and then charge me the non-discounted rate?

So I, like many of you, am following the news of Apple and ATT canceling random iPhone 4 orders. From what I've gathered these all seem to be from people who ordered from either apple.com or AT&T.com, paid with a credit card and set them up to ship to their home as apposed to setting up an in-store pickup reservation. Can anyone let me know if this ISNT the case? Has anyone had a canceled order who's signed up for in store pickup on launch day?

I need help clarifying return procedure. It late and I can't call ATT, hoping someone in similar situation could help me. I bought the phone from ATT in-store. I had it exchange from Apple, the replacement still have the reception problem along with new problems. Can I return the phone? It have a different serial number now and I still have my genius bar replacement confirmation paper.
Also this phone was an add in line, so if I return the phone does this mean I lose the number? I would like to keep this line. Just returning the phone until everything get better then I rebuy.

I'm seriously considering buying the new iPhone 4. I don't want to wait in long lines for hours like I did before. I am currently with Verizon, but I want the new iPhone.I want to pre-order through Apple online and pick it up at the nearest apple store. Also if I order it like that, does the online Apple store run your credit then, or do they just sell you the iPhone for 199.00 and then you take it to At&t for them to run a check and set it up? I would imagine Apple store would run credit check right then but I'm not sure.
Last year I bought the 3gs at a walk in Apple store. I remember they said I had a problem with At&t I needed to fix first, so I went to At&t, fixed problem, went back to Apple store they sold me the 3gs but could not port my number. Somehow gave me a completely new number, said I had to go back to At&t store to fix it. Went there, At&t sent me back to Apple store and these stores were not even close to each other! Finally got it resolved though. Anyway, I hope I don't have a problem like that again.

An Apple customer service representative just informed me that today, they were informed that there is a limit of only one iPhone for online order per account, no matter what the eligibility of your various AT&T lines are. I ordered each of my iP4's separately, although they're under the same family plan. He said, "It wasn't announced and we, or at least I, was just informed about this today, but you can only order 1 iPhone online. We've actually had a lot of people calling about order cancellations." I specifically asked him why this was the case if multiple numbers on a family plan are eligible for an upgrade, but he was unable to answer. He stated that we would have to purchase our second iPhone 4 in store and that everyone who ordered more than one iPhone will have all but one of their orders cancelled.I've ordered 2 iP4's. One has been shipped, and the other has, "Not yet Shipped." The rep looked up my order for the phone that hasn't been shipped yet and said that there is a hold on it because we're only allowed to order one iPhone 4 online. So, if what this rep said is true, how can so many people claim that both of their orders have been shipped? I thought maybe last year i got lucky and they didn't add the tax on the 3GS, i only got charged 199, the tax never ended up being on my bill. I would have noticed because i am a lucky resident of California, and the tax would have been $68.25, since tax here is 9.75%. I ordered the iPhone 4 early Tuesday morning through the Premier Store, and no charges showed up until today, but it is for the same amount $199. BTW, this is an Individual FAN account for USPS.

Anyone else a bit annoyed that if you made a reservation to get the IPhone 4 on opening day, partly so you could be the first anywhere to get it, you are now getting it 1 day later than others who aren't anywhere near an Apple store and/or chose mail order? Kind of takes a bit of the excitement away from the hassle of rushing to an Apple store on release day and waiting in the reservation line.

My Lumia had to be sent away for a replacement motherboard and now is mostly working much better than prior to its death! However, I have some music I bought from the Microsoft store which now can't play. It states I should check my xbox music subscription but I don't have one and have never needed one. I bought the album and downloaded it, I'm not streaming from xbox music.
I don't want to pay for xbox music when I bought the music. I'm not streaming it so I don't see why I have to pay twice.

I don't know if its just me but the Apple Online Store is redirecting me to Google now. Apple.com works fine for me, its just store.apple.com. Is this happening to anyone else? Maybe they're putting in the iPhone 4 preorder stuff.

So, got excited about the MotoACTV this past Saturday and bought online through Motorola. Realized soon after that my local REI had it in stock and I had a xmas gift certificate. Went to REI and purchased it - (Canceled my order for the Garmin 910XT in the process) Went back to the site to try and cancel my order but the 'Cancel items or order' button on my order page wasnt' functional. No biggie, I'll call. After being passed around to the same 3 depts TWICE, I was finally told the ecommerce section was closed for the weekend. Once again, I understand that.I then call on Monday, they tell me the order hasn't yet shipped but I'm not allowed to cancel it at that point. Don't quite understand and getting a bit frustrated at this point but whatever, I'll deal. Customer rep tells me that they'll issue a return slip and email it to me.
OK, I'm good with that.Wednesday comes and still no email with return slip. I call, go through the same 3 depts again and get someone else who tells me that it takes a while to get the return slip but I'll have it within 24 hours.24 hours goes by, I call again and get hung up on 3 times in the process before I can ever get to anyone. Once I get someone on the line, they tell me that it should be to me within the next couple of days... A RETURN SLIP?Once I finally lost my temper a bit, they said it would be 'escalated' and that I should be receiving it within a few hours... we'll see. They also let me know that I could not return it without the receipt.Meanwhile, I've completely soured on the one that I purchased and I'm considering returning it as well and changing my order back to the Garmin. By the way, I called Garmin's support team just to compare... night and day!

I have decided after reading all the threads that I will pre-order from Apple next Tuesday and now need to decide whether to have home delivery or in store delivery. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?
Ive heard that to home there may be activation issues and its better to be in store for troubleshooting but in store on launch day may be packed and I may have to wait I've heard that they have 2 different lines for walk ins and pre-orders is this true? If I send to store can I pick up anytime that day? How does apple ship their orders UPS.FedEx.Etc.Just want to get all the facts for both options if possible. This is my first time pre-ordering and just want to be prepared and make the right decision.
