the songs I recently bought on itunes I somehow can't play on my phone's iPod.When I click for a certain song to play, it would just automatically switch to another random song. This happens with the songs I recently bought. They're not explicit songs or anything, I have no parental blocks on my music or anything. It just altogether skips those songs when I click on them. And I bought them legally! So I don't know what's happening, I'm just not able to play my music?

I have bought loads of music off itunes before and loaded to my iphone. I recently bought an album that for love nor money will not load to my iphone although is clearly visible in my itunes account. I have tried removing it and resyncing it, reloading it, syncing and then reloading the whole phone but still to no avail. Any ideas what I might be missing!?
Thankies

So, I just bought a JB'en iphone 3g tonight.Went ahead and unlocked it using ultrasn0w.Connected it to my mac/itunes, and it asks "an iphone has been previously synced with this computer. setup as a new iphone -or- restore the backup of ***"So, since I had purchased apps using my *** phone (actually was an ipod touch that i got rid of), I'm thinking that I should restore the backup so that I can get my paid apps back for free.
Questions:
-will restoring this backup to the new unlocked phone restore it to its original locked state (i.e. will i have to re-jailbreak/unlock)? or will it simply restore preferences, etc...?
-otherwise, if i call this phone a new name, is there a way to transfer my purchased apps to the new phone's account?
I just brought my new iPhone 4 home, and started syncing it. To my chagrin, I realized that I have more music than the 16GB can fit. So, I unchecked all of the tracks that I don't really listen to. Unfortunately, I can't figure out where to tell the phone to only sync the tracks that are selected. I remember this used to be pretty easy.

When I try to sync my phone to iTunes I get a message that pops up that says "songs not found" even though they are all useable in iTunes. When I called apple they said it was a hardware issue but since I dont believe in paying extra for support

I have an iPhone 4. When syncing my music, I only upload certain playlists. Recentley, when syncing my music, it shows that all the music is added on the memory space bar at the bottom screen, but once the sync is done, it goes back to where it started (ex: before sync: 2.4GB, during sync: 6.4GB, after sync: 2.4GB. This has never been a problem with any of my old iPhones or my iPod nanos and touches.

I recently went through my itunes and deleted all of the songs and readded them to itunes after moving my song file locations. I then plugged in my iphone to sync to my re-done itunes. All of the music synced to the iphone except for when I went to some new playlists many of the songs did not appear in the playlist even though they were in the master list of songs. I have tries turn my iphone off and on and re-syncing the iphone many times. All of the songs are checked on itunes, my iphone is set to sync all checked items and I have my iphone set to sync all playlists on my itunes. Is there any way I can get the rest of the songs to show up in the playlists?
ps. It's an iPhone 4s and is less than a week old. I also have an ipad 2 but I'm afriad to sync pss. Most of my song files aren't from itunes and rather were downloaded onto a different computer as mp3s off of cds and were transffered to my new computer a while ago. They worked on my iPhone and itunes until i recently moved all of my songs to a file within my "music" file (for organization purposes)

I recently had a library on a desktop computer and I moved all those songs from that library onto my new macbook, then got more songs afterwards.
Everytime I try to sync my songs onto my iPhone, I get an error message that says "iTunes could not copy "(song name)" to the iPhone because the file could not be read or written." and then it stops syncing completely, so the rest of the songs after that don't get put on my iPhone.

I have had it for a year and half and all of the sudden in the last 2-3 months it stopped synching certain random songs. I checked the file formats, etc. and all songs are checked to sync. I have about 5,800 that should sync and 150 or so are not syncing at all. Totally annoying. Yes, I have all of the simple checks.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently switched from a PC to a Mac and I could never get my iTunes to sync over so I ended up having to manually drag in all of my music and recreate all of my playlists. This evening I bought a new album so I wanted to sync it to my iPhone, and I knew I'd basically have to erase everything and start fresh with regards to the music on my phone. I selected to sync selected playlists, I selected the ones I want, it warned me that everything would be erased yada yada, I went forward with it and I went through the sync, but now in all of the playlists on my phone either all of the songs are missing or a select few are there, but never all of the songs. Somehow everything is on my phone because all of the songs and artists are there under those tabs. When I view what's on my phone in iTunes it shows everything that's supposed to be there and all of the songs show up in the playlists.

Ok, so I have had the 4S for some time now, and I am really beginning to be frustrated with the fact I can't sync all of my music. It's almost as if anything I purchased prior to getting the 4s (had 3GS prior) will not transfer over. I have tried syncing all music, removing everything, restoring, and nothing works. iTunes allows me to play the music, and it syncs fine with my iPod with no issues. No matter what I try about 200 of the 500 songs I am trying to sync are actually on my iPohone, yet all of them are on the iPod just fine. I have plenty of room on the iPhone, and I receive no errors (even reset warnings just in case it was something I previously shut off) when trying to sync to indicate they won't be there. In fact the "Capacity" bar shows the space it should take up, then after I sync and go back the space is cut in half.

They don't seem to be removed from the Iphone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'd like to sync my iPhone to a new mac. I was syncing it on my old desktop which is gone now, and it was updating the music by syncing it to a playlist. I don't want to plug it in and lose all the songs because I'm now syncing to a different library. Is there a way to plug my iPhone in to a new computer with a new library under a new iTunes store account, and be able to add songs from that new computer/account without losing the ones that are synced to the phone right now? Can an iPhone have two different providers assigned to it? I'd like to have one US provider and one Canada provider, so that when I cross the border I can turn one network on and one network off, depending on which country I'm in each week.

I've made some playlists in my iTunes. I've named them Remix 1, Remix 2, etc. I have the songs in a specific order in the playlist on iTunes but when I sync the playlist to my iPhone, they are in a different order. In each song in my playlist, I click on the 'info' tab and put # in the 'track number' but that doesn't help.

I have noticed that, after syncing, many of the songs on my phone have about 55 duplicates. None of these duplicates are on iTunes, and they don't appear in any of my playlists or albums, just in the Songs category on my phone. Instead of having around 1800 songs, I end up with 21 or 22,000 songs, mostly duplicates. I don't use iTunes Match or the Cloud. I can delete these duplicates, but there are way too many to do it manually, and they still appear in grey when I delete them. This is making the iTunes on my phone very slow.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just figured out how to use my mac to sync to my MOTOROLA ATRIX 4G. in itunes i made about 20 playlists since i have more music than space available, then i used the motoblur software to sync, only about 6 playlists went over but it says 4.6 gigabytes transferred and i had 10gb available so that doesn't explain where the rest of the music is, the error that pops up says only 12 songs won't transfer due to their file types....so why doesn't it all transfer?...furthermore not all songs are available for instance 1 artist had a few albums in the playlist but only 6 songs are there for that particular artist, some of these are not iTunes downloaded files either, they are mp3 not mp4 for instance...so it's a mixed bag of files from different sources so i can't peg it that for instance only iTunes purchased music works vs. music i converted from cd's eons ago.
