Recently I started using my iPhone on a new iTunes on my laptop. I have been getting songs and using the autofill button to sync all the new songs I am downloading. However, after I downloaded one song and I pressed the autofill button, iTunes gave me a message that read, "iTunes cannot add any songs to the iPhone "____'s iPhone" because no songs in the iTunes library can be copied to this iPhone."
View 3 Replies View RelatedOn my iphone I manually manage my music and home sharing is not activted on my phone. I had a hard time getting icloud songs off from there, but somehow after much trial and error I was able to get those songs off. However, I still have at least 10 random songs on my iphone that I have not intentionally put on there. There is no icloud icon next to those songs. The songs are not on my computer list of songs that are "on this iphone", but they are in my itunes library. I want those songs off! I've tried syncing and unsycing. I've tried unchecking the songs in my library. There still on there.

I have about 6 or 7 songs that I want to permanently delete from my iTunes library and iPhone. They keep showing up even after I've unchecked/deleted them. I've used the manual option and selected the artists, genres, etc. that I still want, but the deleted songs keep appearing. I bought these songs off of the iTunes store I didn't use my iPhone. I don't have the iTunes Match option turned on my phone, nor do I use iCloud. I don't know what else to do besides manually selecting all of my songs and putting them into a folder, deleting the blasphemous songs that I don't want anymore, deleting my iTunes library and resetting my iPhone and copying the songs from the folder back into my iTunes library.

Why can't I get the songs ripped from my CD's into i-Tunes to sync onto my i-Phone 4S? Only those purchased from i-Tunes show up.

In order to free up space on my IMac, I have moved all my itunes music to a portable hard drive. I ended up deleting the itunes library folder at the same time and consequently changed my defaulted itunes to the library folder within the hard-drive (which is attached to the computer at all times).
When launching itunes from the icon on the desktop, it launches the itunes within the hard-drive.
My issue now, is that I cannot transfer any of the music purchased in my i-phone to my i-tunes as it states the phone is synced to another library.
Is asks whether I want to sync it to the new one but I gather I will lose everything currently on my phone?
First, if I do proceed to sync it will it from now on sync to this itunes library and is there any way I can attempt to save the stuff already on it? Including music I've purchased from the i-tunes store and all my contacts?

The laptop I had my iTunes on recently quit on me. I created a new user account on a desktop and proceeded to log into my iTune account. When I plugged in my phone it told me to "removed and erase" to sync the computer with my phone. I figured it would add all the music to the library on the computer. I agreed and all the music from my phone went in the library, however it was all removed from my phone. I tried to sync it up, and when I try it tells me there's nothing in my library to snyc except a recently added CD. Now I have no music on my phone, and only 2 GB of the 19 GB I had on my previous library.

All of a sudden my iTunes library won't synch between my iphone and my iMac.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently had a library on a desktop computer and I moved all those songs from that library onto my new macbook, then got more songs afterwards.
Everytime I try to sync my songs onto my iPhone, I get an error message that says "iTunes could not copy "(song name)" to the iPhone because the file could not be read or written." and then it stops syncing completely, so the rest of the songs after that don't get put on my iPhone.

Ok, so I have had the 4S for some time now, and I am really beginning to be frustrated with the fact I can't sync all of my music. It's almost as if anything I purchased prior to getting the 4s (had 3GS prior) will not transfer over. I have tried syncing all music, removing everything, restoring, and nothing works. iTunes allows me to play the music, and it syncs fine with my iPod with no issues. No matter what I try about 200 of the 500 songs I am trying to sync are actually on my iPohone, yet all of them are on the iPod just fine. I have plenty of room on the iPhone, and I receive no errors (even reset warnings just in case it was something I previously shut off) when trying to sync to indicate they won't be there. In fact the "Capacity" bar shows the space it should take up, then after I sync and go back the space is cut in half.

I have noticed that, after syncing, many of the songs on my phone have about 55 duplicates. None of these duplicates are on iTunes, and they don't appear in any of my playlists or albums, just in the Songs category on my phone. Instead of having around 1800 songs, I end up with 21 or 22,000 songs, mostly duplicates. I don't use iTunes Match or the Cloud. I can delete these duplicates, but there are way too many to do it manually, and they still appear in grey when I delete them. This is making the iTunes on my phone very slow.
View 3 Replies View Relatedit is possible to transfer your music library from a 1st gen Ipod touch to your itunes library on a Mac book pro. I have alomost 3000 songs as well as playlists on my Ipod and cant find anyway to transfer theses to my itunes library, meaning i can't add them to my 4s.

Doubletwist even though it claims mtp support my htc one can't get songs sync perfectly. Try using doubletwist and sync a playlist and tell me they don't receive an error? Htc Sync manager takes forever to load and the playlists it imports from itunes duplicate everytime I start the program. Any other options besides drag and drop? I prefer not to use google music as I want my tracks coming my my itunes.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I start the Media Sync program on my XP machine I immediately get a pop up that says the program has encountered an error and needs to close. It is the most recent version. This problem seems to not to be affected by whether or not Media Sync is started alone or through the Desktop manager.
However, the program opens, and acts like it is running anyway. (Just ignore the pop up.) A week ago, it was seeing my iTunes library and I could use it to put music from a playlist onto my Tour. Now, however, it does not see the iTunes library/playlist. It says it my library contains no songs. Sometimes, multiple attempts to start it it, it will see them, but then I cannot click the boxes that allow me to choose the playlist to sync them to the BB.
