Jul 4, 2012Recently, after backing up my music into a exernal hard disk to clear up some memory from my Mac, I deleted my music folder on my Mac and in the process, accidentally deleting my old iTunes library (Itunes library.itl), which was the one my iPhone was synced to. Furthermore, I even emptied my trash (stupidly) so I don't think I'll be able to recover the old library. Now, I'm unable to transfer any new songs from my new iTunes library to my iPhone (I used to be able to simply drag it into my Music folder when my iPhone was synced but now it just bouces off). I've heard on other platforms that an iPhone can only be synced to one iTunes library at one time so does anyone know how one might sync my iPhone to the new iTunes library? I've tried researching but I think I need some specific advice since nothing seems to work.

I had a hard time getting icloud songs off from there, but somehow after much trial and error I was able to get those songs off. However, I still have at least 10 random songs on my iphone that I have not intentionally put on there. There is no icloud icon next to those songs. The songs are not on my computer list of songs that are "on this iphone", but they are in my itunes library. I want those songs off! I've tried syncing and unsycing. Apr 11, 2012I have about 6 or 7 songs that I want to permanently delete from my iTunes library and iPhone. They keep showing up even after I've unchecked/deleted them. I've used the manual option and selected the artists, genres, etc. that I still want, but the deleted songs keep appearing. I bought these songs off of the iTunes store I didn't use my iPhone. I don't have the iTunes Match option turned on my phone, nor do I use iCloud. I don't know what else to do besides manually selecting all of my songs and putting them into a folder, deleting the blasphemous songs that I don't want anymore, deleting my iTunes library and resetting my iPhone and copying the songs from the folder back into my iTunes library.

Deleting Music Library From IPhone 5s
Sep 11, 2014I am trying to delete the music off my iPhone. I have gone onto my Usage settings and tried to delete them that way, however it says there is no data. I have then plugged it into my PC and again it says no data, however when I go onto my library on the phone itself, it has around 700 songs, all greyed out with either the iCloud symbol or a sign which means they're downloading, however this sign has been there for months now and nothing is yet to download, how do I clear this and start again?!

Deleting Photo Library From IPhone 4s?
Dec 10, 2014I tried to clear out the photo library by syncing to iTunes, deselecting Sync Photos (and hit Apply). After that, it tells me I still have over 2500 photos on my phone.
When I go to Manage My Storage in Settings on my phone, it tells me the following:
Photo Library 4.9 GB
Synced from iTunes Library 1 MB
My Photo Stream 1.1 GB
Shared Photo Stream 54.2 MB
I don't understand what is in the Photo Library? I have 49 photos on my Camera Roll.Â

Apr 23, 2012i am stuck in a tricky situation and would things first i know this is quite a frequently asked question as i have done a bit of searching on the net about it however could not not find anything that totaly matches myproblem, i have recently purchased a brand new laptop which runs windows 7 compared to my old desktop which ran XP, i have tried syncing all of my iphone 4s contents onto my new laptop's itunes library including everything not just music or videos and i got the infamous pop up "The iphone is synced with another Itunes library. Do you want to erase this iphone and sync with this Itunes library" the problem is that my original itunes library does not exist no more as my desktop was completly wiped and had XP redownloaded onto it again because it had a virus, which also wiped all of my hard drive so i cant even get everything i backed up off of my phone from it, i have managed to sign in to the itunes store and allowed my laptop to work with itunes,i have also transferred my purchases from my phone to my new itunes library but this only includes my apps and obviously not my contacts and photos and everything, i still get the pop up if i go to sync my apps from my library anyway, is there any way i can delete my original itunes library without it even existing anymore so that i can just start afresh and sync everything i have on my phone now directly to my new itunes library? or do i need to purchase this iphone rip/backup/store software that everyone goes on about or something? to be honest its really annoying my now as i just want to be able to sync everything like how i used to,
