Dec 21, 2014I've been having issues with MMS they just aren't coming through. Some come through but most of them aren't. When they do come through it says "New MMS message to download: size is 1kb, expires on date/time". When i try to download it ALWAYS fails and doesn't download. This has been an issue since I've updated to Lollipop. I'm currently on 5.0.1 OTA stocked not rooted.

However on my phone, the only Android app that will actively sync these text messages (and receive new ones) is the hangouts android app. I'm trying to switch to another app while still being able to text from hangouts from my computer. Dec 28, 2015I'm not getting my text messages. Well, I get them, but very, very late if at all. I sent well wishes to people that night and received a barrage of responses about 8-12 hours later. Even when I text myself nothing happens. I've tried reflashing, playing with every setting I could and nothing.
The only way I can force them to me in is by dialing voicemail and texting myself while the call is active. THEN it works. I get my text immediately and whatever's been waiting in queue.

Mar 26, 2012I think I will need to bring this to an Apple store for investigations, but would anyone have any hints to what might be causing this issue? For about two days, when I shut down the phone, it immediately starts itself up. Ironically when its plugged into my MBP using the USB cable and I shut it down then, it will remain powered off. The minute I remove the USB cable phone starts up. I performed a full restore, including DFU mode and nothing. Secondly, the battery is draining at an incredible pace. i.e I charge it at night to 100%, than by morning (7 to 8 hours later), its at 70%. I have maybe 3 or 4 notifications running with Bluetooth off. I can't imagine this being a sudden issue especially where in the past the phone can be in standby for days.
To put it shortly, is it a deffective connector or battery? Either way I am in Warranty mode till Oct 2012, so hopefully can get a replacement if faulty hardware.

IPhone 5s :: Camera Opens And Closes Immediately
Jun 5, 2014My iPhone 5S camera opens and closes immediately. My flashlight is no longer on my phone at all as a standard option (it's gone). I am only able to take forward-facing pictures through Instagram and Snapchat.
What I've tried so far -
1.)Regular Reset (erasing nothing),
2.) Restore (took everything off of my phone and then reloaded it by backup from iCloud). Â
I turn the phone on after both and my camera still opens and closes within 2 seconds.

Sometimes it tells me to restore with iTunes, without any reason. Sometimes when I start the phone the language is set back to default english instead of italian. The internet APN deletes itself with no reason. These are the main problems. What should I do?

Evernote: When launched, the green Evernote launch screen appears for about 10 seconds and then the app quits.Â
Google+: When launched, the app loads and appears to be fetching content (spinning progress dial). However, nothing else ever happens, and all clickable buttons are frozen. Pressing the Home button takes me out of the app.Â
Things I have tried so far:Â Double-clicking on the Home button and force quitting the apps.Re-booting the phoneDeleting the apps completely and reinstalling them from the app store.Deleting all related apps (Gmail, Google Search app, Evernote Food).Â
None of this has changed the behavior of either app. Is there anything else I should try before completely resetting the phone?Â

Dec 1, 2014On my iphone 6, if I take a picture and immediately delete it (say it was blurry), it still uploads to my photostream on my other devices. I don't want that picture on my photostream because it was not a "good one". In the past, this didn't seem to be a problem because there was a bit of a lag and so the rejects never got uploaded.

Mar 22, 2012Since I updated by iPhone 4S to the newest 5.1 iOS (from 5.01), my sound notifications are doing some funky stuff. For example, when I receive a text message, the sound that I have assigned to my family now does a quick one and then immediate second sound over the first sound. It is hard to explain, but the sound notification for TMs no longer works cleanly. It is almost as if the notification sounds, and then is kind of 'slurred' by a very quick second iteration.
