I have a t mobile htc one m8 and when I get sent a mms group message they come in as individual texts from each user. How I get them to come in as a group message and I am able to reply all.

Has anybody else noticed that the Razr Maxx wont separate the texts into multiple texts if you go over 160? I didnt notice it until I did it the other night, and got a sending error. I could have sworn in the past there was an option for this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm not getting my text messages. Well, I get them, but very, very late if at all. I sent well wishes to people that night and received a barrage of responses about 8-12 hours later. Even when I text myself nothing happens. I've tried reflashing, playing with every setting I could and nothing.
The only way I can force them to me in is by dialing voicemail and texting myself while the call is active. THEN it works. I get my text immediately and whatever's been waiting in queue.
After creating a group on the people page, when you try to send an sms to the group, the message does not get sent. The messages do go when they are sent individually.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI currently have an iPhone 5 and have a group chat with other iOS users. One user is overseas so can only use WiFi to chat. I'm planning to get the S6 in April, but have been confused over whether or not I can group chat with just the messaging apps provided. My parents both have the S5 and when they group chat me using the Verizon Messenger app, it works just fine. However, I've heard from others that the texts come through separately, or that its just impossible to group chat with iOS users. We've talked about using other apps like Hangouts, etc, but those tend to drain batteries faster.
After doing some more research, I read that the Verizon messenger app lets you chat via WiFi, but will that jive with iMessage? I don't want another iPhone and I'm very excited about the S6, but its just frustrating not being sure if we can keep our group chat up.
My friends and I have group messages. But my phone wont receive a good portion of what it actually sent in the thread. I get all the pictures but the texts dont all come through. Running 5.0.1 on straight talk.

Is it possible to participate in group messaging on an HTC One M8 with it converting the messages to MMS? I hate the delay and the "loading" message it gives when sending a message. Or are group messages required to be mms instead of sms? I fully understand how to send an sms to multiple people, my concern is group messaging.

I have the Droid Pro ..a lot of my friends have the iPhone. Whenever they send out a group text I can't read it. It just says "unsupported multimedia message". One of my friends has a Sprint iPhone and I can read his group texts when they come in.

The group text that I am not receiving is between 2 people that I have sent and received group texts from before. T-Mobile suggested turning the settings on and off again, they wanted me to delete all my old text threads, which I don't want to do. I'd rather save that as a last resort.

Have problems receiving group texts from certain people? I receive all other people's group texts without problems (I've got a 1020, AT&T), but one friend (android, Verizon) texts the group and I can't see her texts. I see her name come up in a bubble, but can't see the text. However, she can text me pictures in a group text - go figure!
