How do I sync older Apple messages to my iphone? I dont want ALL of my old emails, just say 6 months back. My pop mail in Iphone only sync ones from the last 1 month. Unlike gmail, this email doesnt have mail, calendar and notes on/off buttons, and no archive button either. I ve tried: Deleting the account and adding it again...didnt work.Change the account setting from pop to imap...it keeps verifying until i have to restart my iphone. To sync it over Itunes (but it did say that it only sync the settings and not the messages )Even creating an Icloud account...
I've recently needed to get back to the beginning of a conversation (to settle an argument) but after pressing the load earlier message tab numerous times the beginning of the conversation isn't there? On a hunch I deleted 2 messages from the conversation and it added 2 messages to the beginning of the conversation so the messages are obviously still stored in the memory of the phone. I've got 2 questions, first, why won't it let me go right back and second is there a way to bring back earlier messages? I'm using an iPhone 4S
i have had a new laptop previously i synced my i phone onto a computer no problems but now i tunes wont sync any of the older music and apps etc from before the laptop just new purchases any ideas please most welcome
I know mac has a program to load older txt messages, but I am using windows. I need to load back my earlier messages but it took me ages and the phone become very slow and lag. Is there any other ways to load beside that phone viewer only for mac user? It is so unfriendly for other user. I need something that window user can use to load earlier txt messages.
Before I switched from a 5 to 5s, my photos has stopped "streaming" to my PC. I would get every other photo and then just random photos would be added to the MyPhotoStream folder on my PC when I was connected to wi-fi... Now that I got my iPhone 5s, I thought the problem would be resolved but now NONE of my new photos in my photostream are syncing with my PC over wi-Fi.  I've already made sure my Camera app is closed, my photostream is ON, etc.
In reading up on iPhone firmware v3.1.2 seems preferred if one wants to unlock. In shopping for a new (to me) iPhone most seem to have 3.1.3 - the unlock procedure for this does not seem for the fainthearted. So, my question is where I might find a DIY guide for reverting to older firmware (i.e. 3.1.2) - assuming such is possible.
Why is the Gmail and Yahoo mail inbox not displaying older email messages from the inbox ?In my Gmail Inbox , I have 20 older email messages that is displayed using a web browser , but it does not appear in my Torch .Is there a way to sync older email messages that is already read and older than 3 months?
I just configured a Curve 8530 to connect using OWA2007 (no enterprise server). However, only new messages that were sent since setting it up populate on the phone. It doesn't pull the existing messages from the mailbox? It sends and receives fine, but you can't view the existing messages (ie. messages received/sent last week). Also, does it only sync once every hour? We may be going back to the Palm Treo if this is the case. You could sync on demand.
How can I retrieve older text messages that have been automatically removed. I need to retrieve text messages that are 8 months old from a sender but I can no longer see. Blackberry Bold 9700
And there's no option that AT&T or myself can find to disable this. How do I tell this piece of **bleep** phone to never delete my text messages? The only app i have installed is Facebook and I have over 300 MB of application space and multiple GBs of data storage space. I only have this problem with text messages too, emails older than 30 days are still on my phone. What's going on?
I thought the new OS 6 would resolve the problem. I have the device set to save forever, and it is erasing everything older than 60 days on my desktop.
Everything worked well for over half a year until last Thursday.I sync my contacts, email and calendar with my Google Account via Mail for Exchange protocol. Contacts, calendar and email sync stopped working on Thursday. Manual sync does not work. I set up my Mail for Exchange mailbox again, reinstalled phone software.
Anyone else a bit annoyed that if you made a reservation to get the IPhone 4 on opening day, partly so you could be the first anywhere to get it, you are now getting it 1 day later than others who aren't anywhere near an Apple store and/or chose mail order? Kind of takes a bit of the excitement away from the hassle of rushing to an Apple store on release day and waiting in the reservation line.
I haven't seen anything stating that the email we all received stating that our iPhone4's would arrive Wednesday the 23rd and not the 24th is a real true from Apple.com email.Mine is in route to my local FedEx facility but still shows the 24th (yes I know what the email says even though it says the 24th it still will be the 23rd).
I updated my email address in iTunes for appl ID, but it won't sync to my iPhone. So whenever I am prompted to enter my apple ID password in my iPhone it's not accepted. I cannot get my iPhone to sync/accep my updated email address.
how to sync my girlfriends calendar on her iPhone with the one on my iPad using different Apple ID's is this possible just so we can have our work schedules and stuff on each other's phones
On my iPhone, I see all the spam that the rules on my Macs get rid of. The spam does not disappear from my phone until I check mail on my Mac. I am using iCloud. Can my Mail rules be synched to my iPhone too?
I have a POP email account through GoDaddy and set up the account on my iPhone as well as on my MacBook under Mail. When I delete messages on from my inbox on my phone, and then I go open my mail on my macbook, the messages aren't deleted. How can I sync the macbook mail and the iPhone mail so that when I delete it off one device, it is deleted off the other as well?
In the last few days my iPhone has stopped syncing with iCloud mail. I do get new mail, but mail that I've deleted on my Mac or iPad does not get deleted from the Inbox on my iPhone.Â
Messages that I have read and deleted on my Mac or iPad still show up in the iPhone Inbox and are flagged as "unread". The only way to get rid of them is to delete them, one-by-one.Â
Here's what I've tried:Â Reset the iPhoneDisable and then re-enable iCloud MailVerified that the iCloud Mail settings on the iPhone are identical with the settings on my iPad.Â
Oddly, messages that have been deleted from the Inbox on my Mac or iPad show up in both the Trash mailbox and the Inbox on my iPhone. Yes, they show up twice; once as being read and sent to the Trash and once as being unread and still in the Inbox.
I have an old phone using my mother's apple ID. I just got a new phone and will be using my own apple ID. How do I transfer my old messages, etc to my new apple ID?
My iphone will not send messages in mail. It will receive messages. Is this a problem with my carrier or is it something in settings. I have reset my password and this does not help I don't know who to call about the problem.
i have an iphone 4 and my boyfriend a 3gs, until recently we used seperate computers for sync but one broke so we have only 1 between us. We have sepeate Apple IDs and log in to our own each time we want to sync our phones, but we seem to end up with all the same content, ie apps music ect. We have to tick and untick stuff we want and dont. Also we purchase/download our own content from app store using our own ID's yet they too apper to sync to both devices..
The mail ap does not allow fewer than 50 messages to be set for retrieval. Yes, I could ask for more but I prefer the mail messages remain on my ISPs disk.
I cannot access my voicemail. Cannot move the move the marker on scrubber bar. I can see the sender, message time, but only call back (returns call to caller) & speaker plus greeting. I reset network configurations and made certain updates are current.
