I know mac has a program to load older txt messages, but I am using windows. I need to load back my earlier messages but it took me ages and the phone become very slow and lag. Is there any other ways to load beside that phone viewer only for mac user? It is so unfriendly for other user. I need something that window user can use to load earlier txt messages.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've recently needed to get back to the beginning of a conversation (to settle an argument) but after pressing the load earlier message tab numerous times the beginning of the conversation isn't there? On a hunch I deleted 2 messages from the conversation and it added 2 messages to the beginning of the conversation so the messages are obviously still stored in the memory of the phone. I've got 2 questions, first, why won't it let me go right back and second is there a way to bring back earlier messages? I'm using an iPhone 4S

How do I sync older Apple messages to my iphone? I dont want ALL of my old emails, just say 6 months back. My pop mail in Iphone only sync ones from the last 1 month. Unlike gmail, this email doesnt have mail,calendar and notes on/off buttons, and no archive button either. I ve tried: Deleting the account and adding it again...didnt work.Change the account setting from pop to imap...it keeps verifying until i have to restart my iphone.To sync it over Itunes (but it did say that it only sync the settings and not the messages )Even creating an Icloud account...

In reading up on iPhone firmware v3.1.2 seems preferred if one wants to unlock.In shopping for a new (to me) iPhone most seem to have 3.1.3 - the unlock procedure for this does not seem for the fainthearted.So, my question is where I might find a DIY guide for reverting to older firmware (i.e. 3.1.2) - assuming such is possible.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just configured a Curve 8530 to connect using OWA2007 (no enterprise server). However, only new messages that were sent since setting it up populate on the phone. It doesn't pull the existing messages from the mailbox? It sends and receives fine, but you can't view the existing messages (ie. messages received/sent last week).Also, does it only sync once every hour? We may be going back to the Palm Treo if this is the case. You could sync on demand.

New S6 ... email app keeps hanging and won't load up new messages unless I (i) go to smart manager and "clean all" ... that works most times; or (ii) use the "close all apps" feature ... that always works ... when I do one of those two things and reopen the email app, the new messages are visible and can be opened.
Other hang ups include inability to open email messages in the inbox ... and sometimes the entire inbox screen just goes blank.
interestingly, I still always get notifications when new messages come in ... so does not appear to be a sync issue.
When I send messages to an ordinary cell phone, they sometimes go through as photo messages even though I have not touched the camera icon next to the text window. When I intentionally send a photo message, my phone asks me if I want to take a new photo or use one from my camera roll. This question isn't asked when I type a normal text message, but it often is received as a photo message even though there is no photo.

I try to refresh, it won't load them, open/close again and again, nothing. Just recently I have had some problems sending normal text messages..The problem is when I want to send a text I go to my contacts and try to send a sms message, but instead of opening up a conversation window I get taken straight to my recieved messages... I havent had a problem replying to messages after people have texted me, its iniating the converstation thats not working.

The only option when selecting them is to delete, which removes them from the conversation threads. It doesn't seem to be related to service, but to whether I am using the phone for any other purpose at the time.
2) When connected to a car BT system, shut off car, BT seems to go into a black hole. You can't reconnect, can't make a call (well, it makes a call, but you can't hear anything; can't play music, etc.). The only solution is reboot. This happens with multiple systems in different brands of auto, so not limited to one brnad.
hello, I just upgraded my phone to the .732. Everything went smoothly during the upgrade, ever since then I have been having trouble with receiving text messages and MMS messages. I have gone to 3 sites for free ringtones have sent the ring tones to my phone, I have not received anything. I also have setup google voice and I am not getting any text messages from people tht text my google voice number.

There have been numerous cases where I need the information someone sent me in those messages, but I can't seem to find them. Is there something wrong with how the phone is set up? Is this a memory thing? Is there a way to get those messages back, are they stored somewhere?
I cannot find a setting that allows me to keep my text messages from being broken into many individual messages. The same happens to messages I receive. A single message may be broken up into seven or eight individual messages, which most often are not even in the proper order when received, or sent. Most text messages on other phones are one block.

So I went through and got rid of a heap of stuff - songs, videos the kinda things that are big files, and still no change.
My phone memory has 368kb free and my memory card has 3734 mb of free memory.Was working perfectly fine yesterday with more data and my phone stores about 1000 messages pretty easily, several videos, songs etc..
