After syncing with itunes(windows), messages for one of the contact(I have saved the contact name as 'Unknown') are lost. I can see only few messages which fits to the screen. I don't see option to load earlier messages.

I just had my iphone4 upgraded to the latest os .. prior to the upgrade, i synced my contacts and noted using outlook ... however, after the upgrade, when i tried to restore, nothing happened ... so i kept trying, until i discovered that my old backup have been changed to a different date (after the upgrade) ... which means my old backup is gone! is there any way i can restore an older backup? can i do a system restore of itunes or something? by the way, i am using windows 7 ...
View 14 Replies View RelatedI find that if I text someone and we reply several times that after a 4-5 replies that the message then refuses to open. It starts when it won't let me scroll up to read earlier messages within the chat, then if I go back to my inbox and try to open the message again it won't open at all. If I try to start a new message to the same person it won't let me text them and I need to delete the message before I can. That can be a problem if I need to keep the text for some reason.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi am stuck in a tricky situation and would things first i know this is quite a frequently asked question as i have done a bit of searching on the net about it however could not not find anything that totaly matches myproblem, i have recently purchased a brand new laptop which runs windows 7 compared to my old desktop which ran XP, i have tried syncing all of my iphone 4s contents onto my new laptop's itunes library including everything not just music or videos and i got the infamous pop up "The iphone is synced with another Itunes library. Do you want to erase this iphone and sync with this Itunes library" the problem is that my original itunes library does not exist no more as my desktop was completly wiped and had XP redownloaded onto it again because it had a virus, which also wiped all of my hard drive so i cant even get everything i backed up off of my phone from it, i have managed to sign in to the itunes store and allowed my laptop to work with itunes,i have also transferred my purchases from my phone to my new itunes library but this only includes my apps and obviously not my contacts and photos and everything, i still get the pop up if i go to sync my apps from my library anyway, is there any way i can delete my original itunes library without it even existing anymore so that i can just start afresh and sync everything i have on my phone now directly to my new itunes library? or do i need to purchase this iphone rip/backup/store software that everyone goes on about or something? to be honest its really annoying my now as i just want to be able to sync everything like how i used to,

I was having some issues with my MacBook Pro and had to reset it as recommended by an apple tech. When I went to sync my iPhone afterward, a message came up saying that I needed to transfer the songs on my phone to my iTunes library or MacBook (can't remember exactly), or risk losing them - so I did. Ever since then however, iTunes will only load roughly 100 songs onto my iPhone, when it used to fill my phone right up. The songs in my library still play on my laptop no problem, so there is no issues with the songs themselves. I tried 'googling' a fix and found a suggestion restore my iPhone from backups, which I did and then my phone was finally syncing normally and filling up the entire phone. This sync was taking several hours however, and I went out for dinner and drinks during it and was surprised that it was still not quite finished syncing when I arrived home. Then a friend called and it was a bit of an emergency, so I took the call, but while I was on the phone the cord came loose from my MacBook and the entire sync session was ruined, and now it won't sync properly again even when I reset from a backup.

I know mac has a program to load older txt messages, but I am using windows. I need to load back my earlier messages but it took me ages and the phone become very slow and lag. Is there any other ways to load beside that phone viewer only for mac user? It is so unfriendly for other user. I need something that window user can use to load earlier txt messages.

I lost many of my apps (330 apps and 32 folders), Why its so complicated for Apple to open more than 11 Pages on iOS 5.1?
When restoring iPhone to factory defaults, the same thing will occur...
So when you open Settings General Usage (after a while you see installed APPs) you notice that these apps either deleted (because of syncing), or got hidden(icons disappeared)
Is it so difficult for Apple to that? Or is it Apple's Policy not to do so?
What will go wrong if I open more than 11 pages for my APPs ? In my Samsung Galaxy I did opened more than 30 Pages ! Why using the bluetooth is complicated? Why it is not compatible with Non-Apple bluetooth products ??
