I'm trying to sync my Iphone to get some new music but getting error message 'itunes was unable to load data class info'. How do I fix it (my husband's 2 devices work fine on the PC). It's driving me mental and has stopped me putting anything new on for months.

I get this message when i try to sync and download my iphone, ITunes was unable to load data class information from sync services, reconnect or try again later. This has happened twice. I have not downloaded by phone in several months. The first time I got this message I did not understand I and left my phone plug in for 12 hrs and it never did anything. I have been able to use iTunes on my windows 7 pc for several years with no problem to sync calendar and contact with Outlook 2013; Suddenly I'm getting this error message. iTunes recognises an iphone but I can't sync it. I've tried uninstalling iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour and Apple Application Support, rebooted the PC and reinstalled iTunes.Â

Instructions say to "From the Edit menu, choose Preferences" but the path to Preferences is through the File menu in my version of iTunes. That's not a big deal, but it also says to "Click the Reset Sync History button". I only see "Delete Backup..." Is Deleting Backup the same thing?
