IPhone :: ITunes Store Is Slow / Taking 10 Minutes To Load Up
Sep 1, 2010
This is probably the wrong forum but my iTunes store literally 10 minutes for everything to load up.Its ridiculous. Then when I click on something it takes another 10 minutes. Any idea why this is happening?

I never had this, albeit minor, problem on my old 3G. On my IP4.01 the MobileMe calendars are a little slow to load when I switch from month to month. For example, if I open up the calendar app, July loads up with all 4 of my calendars quickly. When I click to switch to August, it pauses for a few seconds, moves to the August calendar, then pauses for 5 seconds or so before the appointments display. It sounds petty, but its really annoying when I'm trying to quickly check my schedule.
When someone sends me an email, it takes 15 minutes for it to show up on my torch. If I log into my outlook account on a computer, I can see the email has been delivered to me.I called BB support, and they said that there is no way I can do an instant feed to my phone from an outlook account. I don't believe this is true.
My Blackberry curve 9380 (which I've had for 3 weeks) keeps crashing all the time, the loading square thingie appears and then it's stuck. After a while it even gives an error message. I tried pushing buttons, but the only solution so far is taking out the battery and re-installing it. Then restart the phone (which normally takes 4 seconds but when it has crashed it takes 5 minutes...) I've installed the latest blackberry software, so that can't be it...
So I have been running out of space on my iPhone and I have been doing the suggestions online said, and when I checked all the apps on my iPhone, my phone said the App Store was taking 1.3 GB of space on my iPhone. I've done searches and no one has mentioned this issue yet. Is there anything I can do to the App Store so it takes up less space? I plan to use the main ideas to get more space on my phone, but the biggest hog is the App Store...
I'm an EX iPhone user. Finally becoming fed up with my iPhone crashing, restarting on its own and taking 10+ minutes to turn back on I decided I'm done with it so a few weeks ago on eBay I ordered a used HTC Magic for Rogers(my provider). It has a broken battery cover so theres tape all over the back but that doesn't matter. What does matter is that every time I try to connect it with the MacBook Pro it connects just fine for about 1 minute then it disconnects so I'm either JUST getting one song finished uploading on the Magic or it fails when its just about finished. I tried restarting the Mac and the Magic and nothing is working. This is a huge problem for me because to play music was the whole reason I bought this phone because my iPhone would keep restarting while I was driving around and left me with nothing to listen to for around 10 minutes and now on this HTC Magic I cant even get songs on the thing so I'm yet to try and play them in the car still.
My bb storm started taking forever to load anything. not only the internet, but also texts, calling, unlocking, etc. it has gotten to the point where it will not load at all most times and I just give up on whatever I was going to do in the first place. it is barely functional, and completely frustrating.
Hey i have a Xperia ray. Gingerbread 2.3.4 I am having a problem with my gallery it takes up a lot of time to load up the pictures. Even if i open any one before letting it load fully, the images appear blurred.

Since few days ago I can't seem to open the appstore on the iPhone, I get this error "Unable to connect to Apple's InApp servers.check your internet connection and try again" I disabled the restrictions and stuff on the iphone but didn't help at all, I have an iphone 4 jailbroken running on 5.0.1
So I come home today to see four emails from PayPal from the four payments that have been made using my App Store account, totaling $449.95. I call Apple immediately and after being on hold for nearly 50 minutes with them trying to figure this out, I'm told my App Store account is going to be closed and that they cannot reverse the charges, so I need to file a dispute with my bank (or in my case, PayPal).
I called PayPal and they did not sound very confident in me getting my money back and said Apple should be the one reversing the charges. They guided me through filing a dispute on the charges and said that is the best they can do.
Am I screwed out of my money? Here is a screenshot of what the charges were made for (there is another $49.99 charge that is not showing up here, but appears in my PayPal account history):
I never downloaded or purchased "Zynga Live Poker", nor did I buy any of the credits for the game.
Noticed that the apps that are slowest to load and are redrawn most often (and most slowly) are Google apps? For instance, Google Play Music, the Play Store, the ridiculously slow and data-hog YouTube, Play Newsstand.
For the first few months everything was fine. Now a 30+ times a day pages load very slow or get stuck and I have to go to settings and turn off data then turn back on or turn phone off and back on. I've replaced my phone twice and sim card twice and its still doing it. I have unlimited data through T Mobile so that shouldn't be the problem.
I have a new (to me) Lumia 1020 and while it is fast and fluid everywhere else, web pages sometimes take forever (sometimes as long as 15 seconds) to load. Often it is the first visit to a page after opening IE, but not always.
I am on a VERY fast WiFi connection that is capable of 120Mb/s and tests at about 50Mb/s using a speed test app on the phone. Other PCs on the same WiFi network do not exhibit ANY page load delays.
The issue seems the same whether I am on WiFi or cell data (ATT LTE with a strong signal).
Data Sense is set to NOT compress web pages, but the issue seems the same if I enable web page compression.
Why web pages take so long to load... sometimes? It is the only issue I have with WP8.1.
I have recently switched from iPhone 5 to Nexus 5 and have the following issue:
When I open the dialer (Phone part of the phone) it takes several seconds to minutes to populate the contacts in the speed dialer ... when I try and just type in a name it pulls from Google search and not my contacts.
Then when it does finally load, I call a friend who IS IN MY CONTACT's but when I dial the number it lists the number as an old business that used to have that number years ago.
I have the same issue when I try and open "People" apps too ... takes almost a full 1-2 minutes to load (I only have 438 contacts).
I know a minute is now long but when you want to make a phone call waiting 60 seconds it crap.
I bought a Vivaz recently, however the clock on the phone slows down every few days. If I do a automatic time update status change to On, it updates and works fine. As soon as I shut it off, every few days it goes 10 to 15 min back. Has anyone faced issues like this or any resolution.
I'm coming from iPhone 5, LG g2 for a year and now the g3 since the release week, lately I'm notice when I open the gallery to see a picture it take no less than 10sec to open all the pics.. Easy can be 1500 files no more I'm sure, so why take so long to open it??
I followed the unlocked instruction from AT&T to restore my 3GS iPhone from factory settings. After completing restoring, follow the steps to set up the phone and stuck at activation screen. I inserted AT&T SIM card and connected to iTune but still failed to activate with following error message on iTune: "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate. Please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone." I have retry several times (including disconnect and reinsert the sim) but no luck.
I have a new iphone and I want to take my music from my itunes on my computer and load it onto my new phone. I do show an app for itunes and I do not see an app available for just itunes.
I just bought a lumia 950XL dual-sim from Microsoft, and it is a great phone. However, I am having a lot of issues with the messaging app right now. It takes a very long time to load the app and the individual conversations. When sending texts it takes 3-10 seconds before sending. I deleted all the texts on my phone, which I had backed up and loaded.
I was having some issues with my MacBook Pro and had to reset it as recommended by an apple tech. When I went to sync my iPhone afterward, a message came up saying that I needed to transfer the songs on my phone to my iTunes library or MacBook (can't remember exactly), or risk losing them - so I did. Ever since then however, iTunes will only load roughly 100 songs onto my iPhone, when it used to fill my phone right up. The songs in my library still play on my laptop no problem, so there is no issues with the songs themselves. I tried 'googling' a fix and found a suggestion restore my iPhone from backups, which I did and then my phone was finally syncing normally and filling up the entire phone. This sync was taking several hours however, and I went out for dinner and drinks during it and was surprised that it was still not quite finished syncing when I arrived home. Then a friend called and it was a bit of an emergency, so I took the call, but while I was on the phone the cord came loose from my MacBook and the entire sync session was ruined, and now it won't sync properly again even when I reset from a backup.
