In the last few days my iPhone has stopped syncing with iCloud mail. I do get new mail, but mail that I've deleted on my Mac or iPad does not get deleted from the Inbox on my iPhone.Â
Messages that I have read and deleted on my Mac or iPad still show up in the iPhone Inbox and are flagged as "unread". The only way to get rid of them is to delete them, one-by-one.Â
Here's what I've tried:Â Reset the iPhoneDisable and then re-enable iCloud MailVerified that the iCloud Mail settings on the iPhone are identical with the settings on my iPad.Â
Oddly, messages that have been deleted from the Inbox on my Mac or iPad show up in both the Trash mailbox and the Inbox on my iPhone. Yes, they show up twice; once as being read and sent to the Trash and once as being unread and still in the Inbox.
I would like to sync my iPhone to iCloud (since MobileMe is about to be removed) for backup, but my desktop Mac doesn't connect to iCloud as I run Snow Leopard (not running Lion, and I have no intention of installing Lion, having heard how many problems that caused to my friends).Having tried to sync to iCloud with the phone, I'm now unable to sync with my desktop iCal or Address Book. Now, none of my appointments and reminders are being transferred between the two.
When I delete mail on macbook pro, it's not deleted on iphone. If I delete on iphone it's not deleted on Macbook pro. If I go to www.icloud, it will be deleted on macbook pro, but not iphone. I have service agreement with macbook but not iphone, so I can't talk to apple people without a charge.
I changed my iCloud password, I'm able to receive mails in my computer but not in my iPhone, Also my iPhone shuts down from time to time even if the battery is almost full. When I reopen it, it changes the hour. If there something I can do alone or do I need to take the iPhone to a technichian?
My iCloud email pushes mail to my iPhone and my iMac. But, when I delete an email from my iMac, my badge does not update on the Mail icon on my iPhone, unless I acually open mail on the iPhone. The iPhone acts like the Push function only works for receiving emails and not for deleting them from the iMac.Â
I have deleted my iCloud account on my iPhone and then reinstalled it, and that did not fix it. What can I do to fix the Push issue that I am having?Â
PSÂ I am using the latest Mail and Mavericks on my iMac and the latest iOS on my iPhone.
Info: iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2), 16 gigs of Ram - 3 gig Fusion Drive
Just upgraded to the 4S. I set it up by "restoring" to the last backup on the Cloud, but for some reason, in the "Settings" panel, the iCloud option is grayed out. This is also the case for all of my individual email addresses under "Mail, Contacts,..." I called support and they just made me reset my password - twice - which hasn't done anything but annoy me.
I'm giving the cloud another chance. I have a few basic questions, which aren't answered in the help screen section. When I delete a contact from the cloud, how long does it take to be deleted from my phone? Does my Iphone trump my Cloud or vice versa? If I want to do a major cleanup or addition, which format would be the best conduit?
I'm trying to sync my iphone 3g OS 4.2.1 and ipad3 with my pc (window7 outlook 2012) using icloud, but calendars are not being pushed on my iphone 3g :0( please help me solve this issue. And everytime I sync my iphone is having multiple empty calendars
I recently broke my 5s and had it replaced. My phone broke late June 1st evening, and the iCloud recovered my text messages up to 9pm May 31st.Â
I had a number of messages past that point, until at least 1am that night (May 31st night/June 1st morning), which were not recovered.Â
So I'm wondering how often it backs up. From May 31 to June 1 overnight, my phone was charging and connected to Wi-Fi. Why was there no overnight backup? I thought iCloud automatically backs up when connected to Wi-Fi?Â
And is there a way to make backups happen more often?
My contacts don't sync on icloud on my iphone some contacts disapear on iphone and some contacts hae been merged together to make one contact when they are not related.
If I create a new contact on my iphone and I am not connected to either wi-fi or the network, the new contact doesn't appear on the icloud sync, even after I then am near a wi-fi connection. (I tend to keep my network connectivity off because I have a very small data plan)
I have tried a manual backup from the iphone at the time I do get to my wi-fi. That still doesn't recognize the new contacts.
If I then edit the contact, maybe change one letter or number, it is then synced up.
PS: The phone contacts says 380 contacts. Sorry I can't capture that screen to upload it here.
I'm finally getting a new iphone and I have iclous set up and I am wondering what icloud is gonna transfer to my new device and will it transfer my photos and texts ? I read that icloud backs up texts, photos , and emails so how will I go about putting all of this onto my new device?
Everything worked well for over half a year until last Thursday.I sync my contacts, email and calendar with my Google Account via Mail for Exchange protocol. Contacts, calendar and email sync stopped working on Thursday. Manual sync does not work. I set up my Mail for Exchange mailbox again, reinstalled phone software.
My wife and I both have an iphone 4s, both connected to the same icloud for synchronisation of our calendars.I have an annoying bug that is messing with my emoticons that are in my calendar (week calendar and iphone calendar) since updating to the latest IOS. I have a number of recurring events that have one or more icons(emoticons) in them for easier recognition. Almost all of these events show ?? where an emoticon used to be. The same happens on my ipod. On my wife's iphone all is ok, except if I change an emoticon on my phone, then she gets the ?? too.
It all worked perfectly fine until the latest IOS update.
Why isn't it possible to sync notes, or am I doing it wrong? Earlier I've used me.com, but it doesn't work.. And iCloud don't sync notes??Are iCloud going to sync notes in the future?
In Outlook 2010 I have: 1. Contacts from MS Exchange, 2. Suggested Contacts, 3. Conctats (iCloud Archive) and in another category I have Cloud Contacts.
I need to sync both iCloud ans MS Exchange contacts on my iPhone and keep them as different groups in outlook 2010.
I know that photos taken on iPhone will Photo Stream to iCloud and appear in my MacBook Pro's iPhotos, but I was wondering if it is possible to store my iPhotos from my MacBook onto my iCloud. I have over 10,000 photos in my MacBook iPhoto that aren't backed up anywhere else, and I am hoping that Apple offers a solution to stream these to iCloud in case my MacBook were ever to break down or be stolen. I would hate to lose all of those photo memories!
Just got the iPhone 6 and it's cool and all but my calendar and contacts won't sync with iCloud. Not sure why and I haven't really found a good solution on the web anywhere.
I cannot sync my iPhone 4s to iCloud. I keep getting error message "-50" from iTunes. I do have enough space on the cloud because I purchased a $20 1year space. My is also has an error: Not enough space to sync.
