Jun 29, 2012I have my mail set up to show last 50 messages, but as soon as I read a message, it disappears on my phone. I have my mail set up to fetch, should it be on push or manual or does it not matter? I'm out and need to access my email and it's no longer on my phone.

Jun 9, 2012I deleted an old email address from my iPhone and added a new account. The phone is pulling the new account's information. Tunes is worrying me, though. In my iTunes settings for my iPhone, under the "info" tab and in the "sync mail accounts" section, my previous email address is used for the server name.
So it says:
Gmail (IMAP:oldaddress@imap.gmail.com)
Instead of:
Gmail (IMAP:newaddress@imap.gmail.com)

Mar 23, 2012When I click on the All Mail Inbox on my iPhone 4S there are many messages with no content, a strange date 12/04/69, to name one, that cannot be deleted. They only show in the All Mail mode. If I click on the account mailboxes individually they do not show. Anyone seen this before?

Jun 9, 2012Hiya, for as long as I can remember my girlfriends name has not shown up in my messages/recent calls etc - only her number. I've tried deleting the conversation and her contact and re-adding again - didn't work.
Tried disabling iCloud Contacts sync while doing it, no luck. Also tried resetting my network settings and still no luck

Even after several resets etc. we were able to leave a message but never got a notification of a voicemail. When I manually dialed into my voicemail, the new message was there.

The past few days when I go out of the house and without the wifi, I noticed that if another iMessage user sends me a iMessage, i don't get it.I have the cellular data on and the sms option on as well. Today for example, I was receiving and sending out iMessages to one of my contacts and it was working perfectly. However, another contact of mine with iMessage tried sending me at least 3 iMessages and I never received them until hours after. Im not sure why Im able to receive and send iMessages to one contact, but not the other without being connected to the wifi.

Aug 28, 2014My iPhone 5 has abruptly stopped notifying me of new voicemail messages yesterday. I did not update any software recently. Not only am I no longer notified of new voicemail messages in visual voicemail, they are not listed.
I only learned of the problem when a friend bragged about the humor in his message to me. I looked but could not find the message. I then left myself a voicemail on my iPhone from a landline, but have not been notified of the new message.Â
