View 8 Replies View Related1 - Not all n900 applications i find on the net are searchable or listed at all on the n900s built in application downloader. some files i download manually off the net are in gz and deb format. do i need to install the nokia pc software and transfer them to the phone in order to use them, as i cannot find any other way to do it? from using google there are an awful lot of users saying the nokia software does not work very well at the moment and to avoid using it until its fully adapted for the n900, as some features are supposedly unusable?
2 - is there an easy file unzip program for the n900, hopefully easily found within the n900s application downloader? i tried searching for 'zip' and 'unzip' but nothing crops up
I am having Xperia Pro with latest software update. Recently I tried to replace my 8GB memory card with 32GB memory card. I copied all data of 8GB into 32GB card and then replaced it in phone.I found that though phone was able to detect memory card as in Phone Settings -> Storage it was able to show Free space 25 GB. But when tried to click on application it was showing message "Application not found".All internal memory apps are working good but moved external apps are disabled.I also tried to format SD card from phone and then let phone create internal files in new card and then replaced 8GB on it. But dint work.

I found a small bug in the new OS 5.1.1. At its iPhone 4S I do not use 3G. In the setting of 3G is set to off. EDGE in settings off.
The problem with using 2G. Sometimes when you turn EDGE the icon "E" don't appear and data transfer is not working!
If you turn on and off 3G and then everything starts to work. This don't happen always, but often! Usually after you move around the city.

So when I click my contacts icon on the iphone a bunch of my contacts are missing. If I use the search function, the page to the left of the home screen, i can find contacts I've added and ones I'm looking for, but they dont show up under contacts. There're obviously on the phone somewhere, but I dont know where. O and if I add a contact via the contact icon, push the little green plus sign, and add it manually it will show up under the contacts, but if i try and save something from resent calls or maps and say add to contacts, new contact, it doesn't show up. Also if I add a contact to outlook and sink, it wont show up either. Thanks and hopefully this is pretty clear.

Even if I select a different bookmark it goes right to the page but if I stay on that page too long while browsing I will get the message again and then I have to quite or go to a different page and come back in order to get past Safari cannot find server.

today i tried to contact AT&T for their unlock requirements but I had a strange surprise: My IMEI was not listed in their system. At live chat they told me that my e-mail would be send to Apple to check what is happening, but still nothing happend (don't know if such promise was made or not).I bought this iphone in eBay and it is supposed to be locked to AT&T (saw it on box and model). My wife's 4s claims to have 5.0 GB of storage consumed by photos although the photos cannot be accessed from the phone or from a PC. This happened after having a broken screen replaced although I do not see how the two are related. The company that replaced the screen (CPR) said "tough luck". The phone's usage says the photos are there but as you can see the photos are clearly not. I am assuming they are on the hard drive but the file path is interrupted somehow. We have already accepted the fact that photos of our family are lost but is there a way to regain the storage or by some miracle retrieve the photos.Â

I have a new iphone 3gs. Just got it yesterday. I hooked it up to Itunes and it connected. But gave me some errors that it couldn't sync due to required file not found. I unplugged the iphone and restarted the PC. Plugged it back in and then it gave an error. It cannot read the contents of the iphone go to the summary page and do a restore. I did a full restore and put it back to factory settings. Plugged it in and Itunes saw it but again would not sync due to file not found or other errors. Unplugged it and back in and now it again says it cannot read the contents of the iphone and I need to do a restore. I tried 2 other computers it says the same thing.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've recently bought an iphone 4s, but I'm having trouble synching my itunes to my iphone. It seems to synch for a few moments, the top of my itunes tells me that it's synching 'step 2 of 5' for example, but it never completes it, and my music never appears on my iphone.
It says that the iphone could not be synched because the required disk could not be found. Itunes is not the default player for audio files, could this have something to do with it?
