IPhone 4s :: Photo Consuming Storage But Cannot Be Found
Jun 5, 2014
My wife's 4s claims to have 5.0 GB of storage consumed by photos although the photos cannot be accessed from the phone or from a PC. This happened after having a broken screen replaced although I do not see how the two are related. The company that replaced the screen (CPR) said "tough luck". The phone's usage says the photos are there but as you can see the photos are clearly not. I am assuming they are on the hard drive but the file path is interrupted somehow. We have already accepted the fact that photos of our family are lost but is there a way to regain the storage or by some miracle retrieve the photos.Â
I have newly installed ios5; i am using about 4.2 gb of my 55gb of icloud. I have13.7 gb of storage used on my iphone, and it says i have 0 bytes available.
Info: Mac Pro 3Ghz Quad Core Duo, Mac OS X (10.5.8), G4 MDD Dual 1Ghz Power PC
If I import my photo's from iPhone to iPhoto and let it remove them from my phone, they come back to my phone through the photo stream which is expected. But if i then sync iPhoto with my phone through iTunes, they also now appear under Albums in the Photo Library. Is this now using twice the storage for the photo's?
I just purchased the new iPhone 6 16GB.upgrade jump T-mobile not paid in full $700.Nevertheless, why do I keeping getting a message about storage full? And it says...Go to setting and manage storage with iCloud. I have deleted most of the app, photo, and just about everything else, and still keep getting this message. It's almost as if I will be paying additional 3.99-19.99 a month to manage the icloud for apps that I already had. Perhaps this is the gimmicks to order the 64GB iPhone 6. In fact, the 64GB is offered as an upgrade to new or additional line customers. Come On give us a break for the loyal customers Geezh!!
Plus can't even upgrade software update to iOS8.1.1 because there is not enough storage. What sense does that make to even upgrade to the new iPhone 6
If i purchase more iCloud storage, will it allow me to take more photos to keep in my photo library? Or does iCloud storage just count towards photostream?
My 3GS has suddenly began to consume 0.8mb per hour cellular date, even when it is on a WiFi network! Have killed all apps be double clicking HOME button, and shutting them all down individually. I have also turned off PUSH mail, but problem persists. On ios5.1.1 & new battery fitted only 10- weeks ago.
Info: iPhone 3GS, iOS 5.1.1, Cellular Data used on WiFi
I have an iPhone 5 and its at full capacity. Mostly due to my large music library. I noticed I can increase my iCloud storage to up 50GB with yearly payments. Does this increase the overall storage on the iPhone 5? Essentially, I am trying to increase how much music I can hold on my iPhone. If I add 10 to 20GB of iCloud storage, will I be able to add more data (audio files) to my iPhone?
I have observed that WhatsApp consumes a lot of RAM on my E72. So much so that I can't even use Maps or browse heavy pages. To free up the RAM, I need to switch it off but even though I exit the program, it still is running in back ground and consuming the RAM.
Is there any way that I can close this program ? Currently I am using NetQin to close it but its a very lengthy process.
There is a lot of RAM consuming and battery usage by the app com.sonymobile.intelligent.iengine. I have attached a screenshots for your reference. How to avoid this and is there any problems to face or performance loses if i stop this app??? Â Finally for which function this app (com.sonymobile.intelligent.iengine) belongs to and what are the functions it supports?
I recently removed an app from the "consuming apps" list in the power management->App power consumption pressing the options button->list management.  I expected to be able to get the app back on the list when I needed to, but I haven't found anywhere where it can be done.
Will uninstalling and reinstalling the app make it re-appear on the list (provided it starts to use battery and/or backgraound data again), or is the removal irrevocable unless I reset the phone?
I recently updated my Neo v to ICS...I wasnt able to see songs album images in music player...so i did factory reset...music player problem is solved but now my cell is consuming too much of battery then before... Also google market is not opening...internet browser is slow.
My Cell is heating continuasly charging time and for this issue i already perchase the New battery but there is same situation i am facing . I have cheged it 5 to 6 Hours and when i Start my cell its heating and Complete shut down within Hour.
Finally got around to sticking my SIM card into my 6P and decided to leave it off the charger over night to see how much battery percentage it would take away. I fell asleep with the battery at 55% and awoke with it around 30%. Looking at the battery usage, cell standby is consuming more of the battery than anything else. I've seen this bug in previous versions of Android, but have not heard anything about it with 6.0. Is my phone bad?
In setting/battery there are several apps shown. Are these the apps running in the background and consuming battery? If NOT how could I find out what apps are running in the b/g?
I stopped some of these apps (not the ones for android services) using "Force stop" but they were still appears here. So how could I stop them to save battery?
My friend and I are both experiencing huge background data usage with the Google Backup Transport service that is part of Google Play Services.
My S6 Edge on 5.1.1 has been steadily increasing it's consumption of background data with this service over the last month and it's currently sitting at having used over 1.7GB.
My friend's Galaxy S4 on 5.0.1 is experiencing almost exactly the same data consumption over the exact same period of time. Something is deffo up with this but what it is.
Some old solutions I've read online include disabling background sync etc. but this isn't a solution and doesn't explain what it had been fine up until this month.
So I finally set up my photo stream. For about 24 hours it was working. Now when I take a picture it does not save to the photo stream album on my phone. It says that the Photo Stream is ON but it doesnt seem to be working.
whats the total storage and available storage after factory reset?i have the latest update 12121, total storage is 6.28GB and my available storage is 5.94GB is that normal?
I've run into a bit of a problem, as have MANY Photon 4G owners have as well.since mounting my Electrify as a USB mass storage device (the two "MOT" drives pop up in explorer), now the internal storage (which is where everything is) comes up as an unreadable drive. It mounted fine when I got it, then stopped working, then worked for a day, now it doesn't work.I've tried uninstalling drivers, taking out the battery, SD card, etc etc.
