This used to not be an issue as the screen would go black when I put the phone to my ear. Now the black screen doesn't appear and my cheek is constantly hitting the mute button.

If she mutes one call (by the speaker shown in uper right corner or by the volume buttons on the side of the phone), then the next calls are all on mute. She has to restart the phone, in order to have the ringer playing the mp3 again

Is it possible for phone conversations on iphone 4 to be recorded'? When I call some friends, I hear a rhythmic 'swishing' sound in the background. Not long ago, I discovered my ex had somehow hacked into my phone... changed my passwords on my email & facebook accounts... plus, when I went to Settings.Mail,Contacts, & Info... there was his name next to'My Info Immediately,I erased it and deleted his name/number from my contacts list.I wrote a while back about my situation and received help.I remember hearing that noise then, but it seems I'm noticing it more recently. Frequently, my texts and imessages won't send, the little sending bar stops a little before the end. So I close my messaging app and reopen it to find all the spaces where my text conversations are now replaced with blank spaces. After a few seconds, the "write new message" window opens, and I am able to choose a contact to send to and type a message but the send button doesn't work.
Closing and reopening the app again makes no change. In addition, photos are also blurred, and completely freeze the screen when I tap them. So far my only temporary solution has been to do a reset by holding the home and power buttons, but it only lasts a short while (10 minutes?) before the above problem repeats itself. I am becoming very tired of restarting my phone, and even after restarting, the conflict is not always resolved. I have thought about getting a new phone, although mine is only a year and a half old, but I fear the problem will carry over onto a new phone if perhaps the issue is too many photos and messages?

My friends have two separate conversations with me on their iPhones - texts are under my number and iMessages are under my email address. This makes it quite confusing when switching between the two. I've gone to Settings > Messages and the 'receive at' is set to my email address, is this right?

Ever since the newest update (3.2010.02-8.002), I cannot see my conversations.I can see the conversation on the main conversation screen, where all my conversation are. But when I click on a single conversation...I cannot see it or any other SMS or IM in that conversation. Even conversations that I send cannot be seen on this screen. It is only when I go back to the page will all the conversation can I see what I send, but even that is lost when I receive a SMS or IM back.
I did not have this problem prior to the latest update.It is very frustrating not being able to see the history of my conversations.
I recently noticed something has changed when re-opening my SMS app. It's now consistent when every time i open it, it takes around 5 seconds when it's empty and says "no messages found", and all conversations suddenly appear only afterwards. Extremely annoying to say the least. Even did a factory reset to try changing it but still the same.

The title bar above that is displayed no problem.I updated to the latest firmware and the problem still exists.

Now, anytime I get an SMS text message, my phone shows that I have received a message, but they disappear, unless I send someone a message and they message me back, then that message will open as a new window in the desktop, but nothing at all shows up in "Conversations" anymore at all. Even when I have SMS text messages open as windows on the desktop, when I open "Conversations",it says there are no conversations. Does anyone know what might have happened here and how I can fix it? I can not find how to turn it off? To separate Skype from text messaging. How to initiate same question once again so I can choose NO this time ?
Google hangouts not updating their conversations properly? Messages I send don't show up in the chat unless I exit the conversation and then go back in. What gives? Is this something with hangouts or the s6? Like maybe the ram management thing?
And while we're in it, is it me or did the Google keyboard get noticeably worse too? Auto correct isn't as accurate or reliable anymore. I also notice they've removed the aggressive auto correct feature.
All the messages in the Conversations are mixed up with other senders. 07.20 software update does not fix it. I just had my phone software updated, no go. I recently had my phone completely reflashed from nokia care center with the updated software, but still experiencing the same issue. The issue will be noticeable once there are a couple of messages in Inbox and Sent Items already.

And yes after the initial install I installed the 4 other packages (Nokia Anna 1/2, 2/2, Ovi Store & Social). found that I didnt get a split screen anywhere. On Googling I found that split screen only works with Swype disabled. So I uninstalled SwypeNow I'm getting split screen in the search widget, browser, phonebook etc... but not in CONVERSATIONS (messaging app)
