There's probably a simple solution to this that I'm just not thinking of, but my ear keeps either pressing "1" or muting my iPhone in the middle of conversations. Any quick fixes for this?
I upgraded from HTC One M7 to S6 Edge on launch and recently I bought Spotify premium and I noticed that my phone mutes music every time I receive notification. I like to text/whatsapp while listening to music or browsing Internet. Is there a way to make the notification sound just be on top of the music without muting it?
My I phone 3G keeps muting and un-muting itself.....the phone keeps vibrating with bell sign on screen fr 1-2 mins and ulltimately hooks at the mute stage..
This used to not be an issue as the screen would go black when I put the phone to my ear. Now the black screen doesn't appear and my cheek is constantly hitting the mute button.
On second phone with same problem. I lose all sound until the battery is removed and replaced. Ready to dump phone if this happens again. Verizon and Blackberry has no solution
I have a Verizon S5 and the media volume keeps muting itself. I turn I back up and then a few minutes later it mutes itself again. I downloaded volume blocker and it's working but it still continues to tell me that "volume has changed, tap to save".
My daughter is using a X10 mini (Android 2.1), and is using an mp3 as the ringer melody. If she mutes one call (by the speaker shown in uper right corner or by the volume buttons on the side of the phone), then the next calls are all on mute. She has to restart the phone, in order to have the ringer playing the mp3 again
I've had the iP4 since the launch day and yes I have seen the bars drop but haven't dropped a darn call yet. I'm on the phone for the better part of each day and I, like Mr. Jobs, see this as a NON ISSUE. It's just like the old story "Dr. my arm hurts when I position it like this" Dr: "Well don't do that" " Honestly, the news, media and Apple haters have taken this story and misconstrued the hell out of it. Whenever any company sells a million of anything, there are going to be some issues with a small % of the devices. That's a given. The problem nowadays, is that the first "I want some media love-whore attention jerk" will begin to whine, tip news outlets and complain on every message bored around. I've TRIED to drop a call by using a Samurai Death Grip and it just wouldn't happen. Yes, the bars fall but it's not hurting reception or the phones performance. Anywho, to those who have been weary about picking up and iP4 because of this nonsense please don't hesitate it's seriously not that bad.
4s stop charging at 3%. the other timeS it stop at 75% and 92%, its not the first time alrdy. did i get a faulty set or what? usually battery also depletes vert fast compared to my other friends that is using 4s ,
I have purchased GarageBand for my iPad. My 3G iPhone is now trying download this app and is freezing (both the app install and the phone). I have also recently gotten a warning that my phone is runningnoutnof memory. How can I stop this app from installing?
IPhone isn't even a year old. It breaks down even with a little amount of apps running. It breaks down and restarts. I have done the pressing and holding of the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds.
I can listen to the song from start to finish on iTunes, but it always stops at 1:05 when I'm using my iPod app on my iPhone 3GS 8GB. I did not change the start/stop time of the song, the stop time says it's at 2:34 but it always skips to the next song when it reaches 1:05. If I click and drag the timer bar to 1:06, the song continues and finishes at 2:34. I have tried overwriting the .mp3, did not work.
i've had an iphone 3gs for a while now and was happy with it. i normally let my 7yr-old daughter play games and watch Internet clips on it, but i don't know what she did this morning that now my iphone talks with every command, i have to touch to select and then double-tap for the command to go through, i am having trouble now just trying to type in my password to get into the phone to even see if there is a way to try and take off of what seems to be a seeing-impaired setting.
I was doing an update on my iphone. I had it hooked to laptop was gonna do it through iTunes accidentally hit the update on the phone instead. it has been 5 hours scared it is not going to come back on. Can I STOP it??
I woke up this morning and my iphone was next to me. I rolled over and it burned me because of how hot it was. I woke up and noticed it was vibrating too. Not short little vibrates but this one long continuous vibration. Also, the screen was black but in the middle were little white lines. I tried cutting the phone off. It didnt work.
I tried resetting by holding the power and home button. It didnt work. So I went to the bathroom came back and it was still hot and vibrating. As soon as I picked it up to go ask someone about it, the vibration shut off and it seemed the phone was powered off. So I tried the power button again. No luck. I tried the resetting process. No luck.
So recently my iPhone 5C started vibrating after receiving a message over fb messenger and ever since it wont stop vibraing, i have hard-reset the phone several times, i have restored the phone, eraised all content, set up as a new iphone, done the lock, home and up volume button on reset, and it still persists to vibrate. Â
I've searched everywhere and can't find an answer to this; it's a slightly different problem than just waiting for it to finish and erasing it. I stated the TomTom download on my phone, it timed out, so I started and finished the download on the computer. Synced it to my phone. Now, since I opened App Store on my phone again, it started the download on my phone again and erased the completed copy that was on there. I've tried syncing with iTunes again to try and get the complete copy back on, but it won't do anything because the incomplete version is on the phone. I can see the incomplete download in itunes and I'm letting it complete on the computer, but it's going to take 17+ HOURS to finish (what the heck is wrong with Apple's servers? I know it's over a gig, but you'd think Apple of all places would have downloads running at more than 17kb/s on my 10mbps line). I've tried rebooting the device, no luck.
Iphone 4. iOS 5 So when I'm talking on the phone and a text message/email/notification comes in, it vibrates/sounds and blasts me in my ear! I love the notifications, just not when I'm talking on the phone.I consistently have to pull the phone away from my ear when this happens. You don't realize how intense the vibration/sound is until it's in your ear. Is there a way to disable the notification (or at least mute it) while my face is up to the phone?I've searched this on google and it seems there is nothing to take this off.
My husband and I share an Icloud. How can I prevent my contacts and information from going into his phone. thank goodness I do not get his contacts in mine!
